  1. Very close to 10000 infections in Germany. 211 in the city region where I live, 100 of those are actually in the city. We're gonna be dealing with this for months...
  2. Do you only exist to disappoint me?
  3. Hm...do I want it now? Divinity: Original Sin 2, Thea: The Awakening, Cuphead and Apex Legends are currently my jam. Then there's Tangledeep and its DLCs which I will most likely get next week as the main game will be on sale on the 26th of March. I think I'll pass on Exit the Gungeon for now. At least until I've finished Cuphead.
  4. Yeah, whether or not the PS5 is exciting hardware...I'll decide tomorrow.
  5. You know I had to Will I get it today? Most likely.
  6. Aside from Dicey Dungeons and Exit the Gungeon it was a pretty boring presentation for me. But then again, two roguelites are all I need. And one of them releases today? Coolcoolcoolcoolcoolcool.
  7. Not surprised they've waited for Microsoft to do their thing first. Personally, I'm no too interested. Numbers being thrown around doesn't mean much to me. I'd rather hear about games.
  8. Digitally for PS4. Two mates and I will play this cooperatively. What else to do in these times, aye?
  9. Think I'll give this one a go myself. I very much enjoy games à la Stardew Valley and AC:NH is obivoulsy one of those "play at your own pace" kind of games. Even if I end up not liking it, I'll be able to resell for minor loss anyways
  10. Bought this just now for a fiver. Spent some time with the tutorial and my goodness, there are about a million mechanics to get to grips with Menus are a little cumbersome but it'll probably be ok after getting used to them. Decided to start Cuphead solo and Thea: The Awakening seems to be a nice change of pace. These two games will keep me busy until I get Tangledeep in two weeks
  11. My sister, her boyfriend and I just ordered a copy together for my mom. It's her birthday tomorrow and given that she put at least 8 million hours into Animal Crossing: New Leaf, this seemed like a perfect present
  12. Finished it, true ending and all. Even though I somehow couldn't put the game down this morning, I don't like it. The "on foot parts" are horrible, the other parts are ok at best. Sorry, @Hero-of-Time. Don't shoot me
  13. Our university just cancelled everything (practical courses, lectures, exams, etc.) until mid. April. Germany will close its borders tomorrow morning. It really does feel like a round of Plague Inc., doesn't it...
  14. With season 3 coming at the end of March, I decided to rewatch the entirety of S1 and S2. Just finished the very first episode and I'm hooked again.
  15. Finished half of it and it's not good. The puzzles are ok (at best), but they are ruined by the incredibly slow movement of everything. This is definitely a game that I can't/won't finish because I'd be bored out of my mind. Soooo... I decided to give Blaster Master Zero yet another chance. Here we go... The game poses no challenge at all. I'm not trying to brag, I think it's objectively easy for the following reasons: The majority of enemies do not actively engage you. They are either stationary and only start attacking when you're close or they move around randomly. The latter can be easily avoided or killed. Given that you only have range attacks, picking off stationary enemies without any other danger around is piss easy (especially once you get the heat-seeking missile). The dungeons stop being challenging in any way once you've upgraded your weapon, which happens very quickly; the final upgrade is ridiculously OP. Platforming has almost no dangers involved. You come across the occasional spikes but avoiding them is trivial. One of my pet peeves in gaming: Stepping on a moving platform, waiting for them to reach their destination, stepping off and then walking on to the next moving platform...can you really call this gameplay? So far I haven't even come close to dying. Now here's my question: WHY THE FUCK CAN I NOT STOP PLAYING THIS TIME AROUND? I stopped playing it a while ago after 2 hours of playtime. And today I've played 2 hours straight without taking a break. It's easy as hell but there's something to it. I don't know what it is and I won't question it. Such a weird game. I usually get bored with games that are not challenging to me. Anyway, reached Area 7. Seems like I'm close to the end.
  16. Don't make me play this right now. I wanted to wait for the new patch...
  17. Decided to not go to a party tonight, got met with "lol, so you're also a vicitm of all the panic and hysteria", "oh, look who just stays at home and won't be having fun". I left the group without a word and I'm not sure if I'd rather laugh or cry at people's ignorance. I've learned a lot about many people in my circle of acquantances these past few days...many of them have fallen victim to fake news. It's kind of sad to see...
  18. Uncut Gems What a ride. Adam Sandler is astounding in this. He is such a great actor when he wants to be. Cinematography was awesome, too. A thrilling ride right up to the very last second.
  19. Oh, this slipped my mind completely. @viceview51 I'm most likely available from now on the entire day. And then again on Sunday. On weekdays I'm not sure, yet. Let me know when's good for you
  20. Finished Super Mario Maker 2's story mode. Very lackluster. Still, some nice introductions to several mechanics. Will definitely help me with creating levels further down the line. Will I complete every level available in story mode? Maybe, maybe not. Not in the near future. Bought The Bridge for 1.50€ and finished the first chapter. Not a bad puzzle game so far. Love the asthetic and M. C. Esher style puzzles. Movement could be a bit faster, though.
  21. Pretty cool.
  22. It's so surreal to me. I've been "part of" a couple instances where history has written itself (9/11, climate change, right wing on the rise again, Trump being elected,...) but this pandemic is taking the cake. It's eerie...a weird atmosphere. I'm trying to not let it get to me. Easier said than done.
  23. Our university's officials announced that all study rooms and sports grounds will be closed until April. All "non-educational" events are cancelled. Wow, what the hell half-assed measures are these? Home office for people who are able to do this is still not mandatory and seminars/lectures/exams will still take place. Things like this is why we're having this pandemic. I really hope governments take Italy as an example and follow suit. The country made mistakes but are now doing everything to keep things in check. They are drastic measures but they are necessary. Edit: Forgot to mention: Those measures taken by our university will be in place from next Saturday onwards. Why not starting now? Your guess is as good as mine...
  24. It's officially a pandemic. 2020 is AWESOME.
