  1. Welp, now I need a Peggle 3 announcement tomorrow. PS5 exclusive, 60fps, 4k, 3D-audio, fully optimized for the SSD. Seriously, give me one hour of Peggle 3 and I'm happy.
  2. I will never replace Shulk This is how I want to finish the game. Might not be the best choice, but I like it that way. I thought about using... ...as a tank and replace Reyn. Might achieve higher damage output if I do. I haven't created a single gem, yet...never felt it was necessary. Should I start making them 27 hours in?
  3. Couldn't play much yesterday But I'm done with responsibilities for today so now I got time to dive in again I'm at the end of Chapter 7 but not ready to move on with the story, yet. Lots of side quests from that Nopon village that need to be completed Edit: Reached chapter 8 just now. Still have one side quest open but I need to raise affinity between two female characters. Difficult given the fact that my team consists of Shulk, Reyn and a third character. Anyways, sometimes the game can look kind of pretty: Edit²: After 23 hours I've finally understood how chain attacks work...so far I've been using them to just break/topple/daze enemies but that's stupid. Once I've seen the chain damage number reach 100k after only using arts of one colour (or the talent art) it clicked Thinking about changing my team...not sure if I want to trade Reyn, though. I will most likely keep controlling Shulk and have... ...in my party. Without Reyn I'd be missing a tank, though, (unless the character in the spoilers can be useful as a tank. He does have a lot of HP...). What to do
  4. Didn't know that. Well, looks like I'll have to settle with mediocrity again Yup. I like this, as well. Sometimes I go around just exploring the world, sometimes I want to get back on track with the story. I also appreciate the option to view the path to objectives. Most of the time I turn them off, but occasionally I just want to go out there, grab the item/kill the monster and get back as quickly as possible.
  5. PushSquare.com Twitch ads apparently running: So I guess this week we can celebrate the future of gaming again, aye?
  6. If they deliver, then the BotW sequel might actually be a great game. I'm cautiously optimistic that they can build upon the mediocre first game and enrich the world with meaningful stuff to do. They sure have the potential given what I've seen so far from Xenoblade Chronicles. Sure, side quests are pretty much just fetch quests but most of them do have a small story behind them. The NPCs involved have issues with jobs, love, their personality, etc. and helping them not only rewards you with items but also with a little sense of "yeah, you're better now". Finger's crossed
  7. Done that but it didn't help. I eventually just progressed the story a little and it opened up two side quests in Colony 9. Completing them gave me access to Desireé's quest.
  8. Please use spoiler tags for those who haven't played the game, yet, or haven't reached certain points and met certain apparently playable characters...
  9. Did the first trial but that was it. Are they worth doing at all? Same here. Spent most of today doing side quests in that area. Still not done Stuck at 4 stars and I doubt I can increase the rank of Colony 9 any further without progressing the story. Spent some more time with this today. Made some progress with the story but most of my time has been spent doing side quests. Love the thing you can do with Colony 6 now. Looks like it'll be a grand undertaking.
  10. Finished chapter 5 and things got a lot more interesting I really hope they don't... Anyways. Played for 2 1/2 hours straight just now. Pretty much only followed the story as I've done most of the side quests available to me. Loved every second of it. Hopefully new side quests will open up now, though
  11. 11 hours in, just reached the Colony 6 area and about to start the story quest there. Managed to clear out lots of side quests. The remaining 5 or so are either guarded by high level monsters or are in areas I can't reach, yet. My party's at level 26 and all the story related fights have been a cakewalk. Love it I have to say...the game is ugly as sin. Low resolution, textures are pretty bad and the character models are also nothing to be proud of. For a "Definitive Edition" this is very disappointing.
  12. For once it's a nice sale. Way too much in it that I want to get but I shouldn't but I probably will Wargroove Risk of Rain 2 GRIS Rayman Legends Katana Zero Kingdom Rush Frontiers Ironcast TumbleSeed Gonna have to limit myself to a maximum of two, especially since I'm playing to (J)RPGs right now.
  13. I always say "wankers" out loud and giggle like a child Played one more hour last night and the battle system slowly but surely picks up the pace it seems. Can't wait to see how it'll play out with a third character in the party. Have to say: I'm loving it so far
  14. You should check out the Digital Foundry Tech Report. Pretty in-depth analysis.
  15. Resolution is horrendous (just like in the sequel). Frame rate has been very steady so far (30fps, obviously).
  16. Just finished chapter 2. The world and characters are so much better than everything I've seen in the first 15 hours of the sequel. I'm much more invested and enjoying my time with it so much more. 4 hours in now and it's time to go back to sidequests
  17. Quick question: What do these symbols above the enemies mean? Edit: Never mind. The game explained it at the next area.
  18. Interesting. I initially got the news from Nintendolife.com and they used GoldenCasinoNews as a source.
  19. Yeah, just seen the news. iOS for now, though, so I'll have to wait for an Android release. $9.99 (so most likely 9.99€) is a fair price. Will I triple dip after getting this for PS4 and Switch? You better believe I will. (unless my phone can't handle the awesomeness that is Slay the Spire)
  20. Welp, I edited my post. Thanks for posting the correct numbers
  21. Just watched the first episode of Chernobyl. Gripping, horrifying, brilliant.
  22. Two hours in. Thoroughly enjoying it so far. Two things I find a little annoying: foliage pop-in is ridiculous it would be great to see what exactly each stat does, e.g. Agility or Weight (unless there is a way to get the information and I just can't find it) Edit: MAN, WHAT A BUNCH OF JOKERS. - couldn't he at least say wankers instead of jokers? Other than that...no complaints. Battles are simple, but satisfying against monster at your level. I really hope it doesn't turn bad once chain attacks are introduced. That mechanic (among other things) ruined the sequel for me. Characters are cliché as all hell, but it works. The story is a slow burner, as is tradition with JRPGs (and what can you expect after two hours) So far, so good. Cautiously optimistic. Where did you find this number?
  23. Source Edit: As mentioned by @MindFreak that source has the numbers wrong. Apologies. Nintendo sure did a good job releasing the Corona virus to infect the world. Worked wonders for them regarding both hardware and Animal Crossing sales.
  24. Sorry all you UK citizens, more good news from me Official numbers for our town/region: 20 currently infected. The decrease in numbers obviously slowed down, but the numbers are still going down. Also: I got a haircut just now after 3 months of not being able to
  25. Thanks The game is on its way. Should be here in an hour Not even close to finishing it. I'd say it's possible to play both, especially if you don't enable hard mode in Bug Fables. If you do, you might actually have to grind a bit (at least money) in order to even be able to make progress. In normal mode it's probably much easier to play for shorter sessions and accomplish more.
