Just watched Hannah Gadsby's Netflix special Nanette. It left me speechless.

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling (PC, Switch, PS4, XBO)
drahkon replied to drahkon's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I think I'm close to the end. One more chapter to go. Did a few more side quests but I think I've had enough. I doubt the remaining assignments could provide me with worthwhile rewards. Depending on the exp I get from the enemies in the final chapter I might spend some more time farming but other than that it's going to be a journey straight to the end -

Are you telling me there's a card game in this? Are you telling me I could've played this since chapter 3? Fuck me sideways...I'm well into chapter 6 and only just found out about Spy Cards. Well...I was set on finishing the story today but...guess that ain't happening anytime soon Edit: Also... Just got an item that lets me fast travel to that sub-area whenever I want. Alright...all side quests it is -

Apex Legends. Free-to-play FPS Battle Royale (09/03/21)
drahkon replied to Kav's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Definitely good fun, but if you want to play it competitively it's not very good. Legends have still been unbalanced at the start of the current season. It's why my mate and I stopped playing. Other than that, for a few quick rounds it's worth a download. -
Publisher Activision began teasing the announcement of a new Crash Bandicoot earlier today, as members of the press reported receiving a 200-piece puzzle that depicts a new mask first teased in a November 2019-released PlayStation 4 promotional video. Source

Reached Chapter 6 last night and the story just keeps on giving. Great writing, great characters, great plot Can't wait to see how it'll all end. Not sure if I want to complete some more sidequests, though. Fast travel is a little tedious (you have to enter a sub-area in each city to be able to travel to a different city) and annoyingly, most of the quest goals are at the end of areas you've already been through. A sprint button would've been great -

Oh yeah, that (and the amount of alcohol I drank from November 2019 to mid-March 2020) made me put on 8 kg. Whenever I got bored I turned to food and it was pretty much always "cook some pasta (i.e. a 500g pack) and eat all of it with some sauce". Kind of funny how the self isolation I put myself in back in March made me break that habit. Now that I think about it...you're right -
I thought that was pretty clear given the fact that it says "Extended Cut" in the title

The Exercise & Fitness Thread: The Struggle Is Real

This would annoy me to no end I tried something like this before (setting calories for meals and counting them) but it didn't work for me. Glad to hear that it seems to work for you My diet in the past 3 months was pretty much just eat one meal less a day and stick to my 16/8 intermittent fasting that I've been unknowingly doing for about 12 years now since I haven't had breakfast since I was 18 (obviously on certain occasions I did have breakfast but I'd say 95% of the time I don't). I eat lunch (full meal, just what I feel like) and then some fruit and yogurt in the evening. Even without the runs I do every week I would've lost weight quite easily, I'd reckon. -
Pre-face: If this doesn't warrant its own topic, feel free to merge the post with the "General TV Thread" or "General Movie Thread". When I was young I never really watched a lot of movies and TV shows. Especially not comedies. However, comedy is one of my favourite things these days and I would love to get into the classics. Problem is: I don't know a lot. I know of Seinfeld, Monty Python, Blackadder (even though I haven't really watched them, yet). What are some of the greats from the 90s, 80s, or even before? Gimme movies, TV shows, stand-ups, whatever

Thanks for that...it's now stuck in my head. What a banger. Eurotrance is such a magical genre. Timeless. Why do you even bother? Everything good Sony does will turn into some shady thing that others obviously do way better.

Interesting to see that Sony and Microsoft do the exact same thing with regards to "this gen to next gen" upgrades, but only Microsoft gave it a name (i.e. Smart Delivery). Indeed. But that's the only thing I've ever been interested with the Gran Tourismo series

First official pictures from Sony with the PS5 laying on its side: And pretty much confirmation that PS4 to PS5 upgrades are up to the games' publishers/devs: Let's hope that all of them take advantage of this.

Made some more progress. Finished a side quest that focused on one of the main characters. His backstory is so good. Sad, creepy and in the end quite wholesome Very well written, an absolute joy. Apparently I only have 3 chapters left. I guess I'll take on some side quests before moving on
