  1. Source Finally, 2FA done right. It's not live, yet, but will definitely change from 2FA using SMS (lol) to using an app.
  2. Put it in spoilers, just in case.
  3. There's a hard mode? New Game+ is more difficult than the normal play through, apparently. It does. Played it and it's great.
  4. Just finished Mark of the Ninja: Remastered. Such a good game. Can't believe I haven't played it earlier, given that I bought it a year ago (also bought the original on Steam 8 years ago...). Only have a few trophies to clean up, one of which is a New Game+ playthrough. Already looking forward to it
  5. The list of incompatible PS4 games on PS5 will get even smaller. Both DWVR and TT Isle of Man 2 will receive a patch to make the games work on the next-gen console. I don't care either way, but good on the devs
  6. Been playing Mark of The Ninja: Remastered on PS4 for a few days now. I needed something in-between the FFVI sessions. Turns out that the 2D side-scrolling stealth game is pretty great. In fact, it's so great that it pulled me away from the JRPG classic. Will definitely go for the Platinum trophy.
  7. FPS - Titanfall 2 The best FPS I've ever played. Sports (kind of) - Rocked League Easy to grasp, hard to master. Perfect for pick-up-and-play sessions. Action - God of War A perfect reboot of a great series RPG - The Witcher While I still haven't finished it, it stands out as one of the most complete RPG experiences ever made. JRPG - Final Fantasy VII Remake Another reboot. This time of one of the most influential JRPGs. Perfectly done. Adventure - Horizon Zero Dawn Impeccable. The best open world game of the generation (at least from what I've played - still have to play Ghost of Tsushima) 2D Platformer - The Messenger Indie 2D-platforming at its best. Funny and fun. 3D Platformer - Ratched and Clank Yet another perfect reboot. Best 3D-platformer out there. Rogue-lite - The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Bought and played it on PS4/PSVita (got the Platinum). Masterful. Double dipped on Switch. This version came with Afterbirth+, which enhances the game even more. Will definitely buy the new expansion (Repentance) on PS4/PS5 and Switch. It won't disappoint. Co-op experience - Tie between Diablo 3 and Ghost Recon: Wildlands The former I've played to death with a mate. Kill and loot. What more do you want? The latter I've played with a different mate. Stealth and murder. What more do you want? BEST GAME EVER - Slay the Spire Slay the Spire. Slay the Spire. Slay the Spire. Slay the Spire. Played a lot of games but these are easily the ones that stand out in a sea of amazing games. Can't wait to dive into next gen. Most likely with a current/cross gen game, i.e. Cyberpunk 2077. Also looking forward to playing some of the best current gen games I haven't yet played on the PS5 , e.g. Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.
  8. It's by far the easiest to get the Platinum out of the three.
  9. Something I took from this round: I now have a new drinking game: Pig's Tail In my version, the more cards you get, the more sips you get to hand out. WHOOOHOOOO, PARTY TIME. Ehem. I'm done now.
  10. This week's result: War S.C.G 1 - 2 drahkon Takoyaki S.C.G 1 - 2 drahkon Pig's Tail S.C.G. 2 - 1 drahkon Nothing much to say...it was pure luck
  11. Went with Final Fantasy VI because Half Minute Hero gets old pretty quickly...in like...30 seconds. 2 hours into FFVI and yeah...it's old school, alright The sprite work is amazing. It looks really good. Battles are quite slow, but that's what the speed-up function is for. Looks like I've found my game for the next few weeks.
  12. And there it was. Now I'm officially in quarantine until Wednesday. The lady thanked me for being responsible and putting myself into isolation, even though I haven't been put into quarantine initially. Yeah...big whoop, I knew I should stay home... Anyways, sent them the list with people I came in contact with, which means: I'm done dealing with them. Still have a stuffy nose and my sense of taste and smell obviously haven't come back, yet, but I'm feeling much better today.
  13. Works for me Can you host again?
  14. Did some reading around various forums and it seems that everything that's in the game right now can easily played without paying a cent. Grinding isn't really necessary, either. If you want certain characters then you'd be better off just paying for a chance to "roll" them. But you get a few characters for free as part of the story progression, so there's that.
  15. Played it on PS4 (the Switch version still doesn't have a release date, as far as I know). Biggest issue for me: The controls suck ass. Seriously...seems designed by someone who's never played a console game. This is actually why I stopped playing after 3 hours. In my limited time, however, I did get some positive impressions: it's a beautiful game soundtrack is amazing lots to do and see exploration is fun combat is awesome The game is an action JRPG at its core, though, so if that's something you don't enjoy you should stay away from Genshin Impact. And yes, it's free to play. New characters can be acquired by loot boxes (gacha mechanics). Can't say anything about whether you can play the game nicely without paying a dime, though.
  16. Well, there is at least one:
  17. @S.C.G I have time all day. Let me know when you're up for our session
  18. It couldn't. In other news: My mate and I finished Ghost Recon Breakpoint. What a mess this game is But we enjoyed it. We had a lot of fun in hour 30 hours of coop play time What now? I might finally give Mark of the Ninja: Remastered a go. And I have to decide between Half Minute Hero and Final Fantasy VI. I've already started the former but need to see more.
  19. Pretty sure we all do, but the PS5 itself can't change that. If a game doesn't have uncapped framerate the "brute force approach" won't magically increase FPS. Both PS5 and the new XBox can't do it. It'll be up to the devs to unlock the framerate. You can be sure, however, that games capped at 30 fps which suffer from unstable framerate will run at a constant/stable 30 fps on the new consoles.
  20. No way It's not an incredibly difficult game. I was just horrible today
  21. If you can find a list of games with uncapped framerate then you have your answer.
  22. So BC will be as expected. Sony delivering the goods. First the teardown, now this. Next week UI? Personally, I'm not that interested in it but I'd obviously still check out the news.
  23. Yeah, I figured, but I was already tilted
  24. Sorry @Glen-i I'm getting frustrated It's not even that the levels are a little more difficult, I just completely suck at everything today. Need a break for now. I'd be up for another session tomorrow, if you have the time
