  1. Yeah I heard about these the other day from a friend of mine. The battery sounds almost too good to be true (although it'll be great if this isn't just the result of turning every setting to bare minimum and no wifi and sound)...and call me a little image-obsessed, but they're a bit ugly. One of them has a huge Samsung logo on the back which put me right off. :/
  2. Yup, it's really had the backing from the (relatively few) netbook comparison sites out there. Seems to be the editor's choice and whatnot. It's a gem!
  3. Since your options are all light-related, you should go with Ain Soph Aur (never-ending light). It sounds good when screamed by an angry Ratatosk in Tales of Symphonia 2.
  4. Eww...ring doughnuts for me, warmed up. The jam just tastes odd.
  5. I strongly believe that one sequel in which there is little change is perfectly acceptable, and even more so when Capcom have admitted they will completely revamp the series again. Zelda and Halo introduce fairly little between many of its games, but no one cares!
  6. Am I correct in understanding that you didn't know enamel contains calcium? They don't say calcium is good for the teeth for nothing, ya know...
  7. Yeah; when you break your teeth on it and swallow them you get a lot of calcium. :p
  8. Um, he's done with women. Did he forget that it's for buggering men too?
  9. Then we should also be eating pigs raw, and crunching on the shell of a coconut. Let's all have a slice of common sense...if you juice an orange (itself fairly natural) for the obvious outcome of getting juice, it's going to have bits.
  10. http://www.dontpressstart.com/pro/SF6/ There ya go.
  11. Definitely the Samsung NC10 netbook - I have the white one and my mother has the black. They're small, energy efficient (6-7 hours or so unplugged), quiet, fast (pertaining to web browsing and office applications) and have a great keyboard for a netbook (93% laptop size). It runs youtube videos and the like perfectly smoothly. It has the ethernet port as well as wireless, in case your router has problems. I know it's received great reviews from netbook critic websites, and Raining_Again will tell ya about it too (she's got one), as well as someone else on the forum that I forget. The price should be about £280-300 if you look around. There are matt white, glossy black and glossy blue versions I definitely recommend it; one of the best electronic purchases I've ever made!
  12. Hmm, I dunno. That end boss seemed fairly easy on anything that wasn't professional, then by the time I played it on professional I had the infinite rocket launcher.
  13. If you squeezed your own fresh orange juice it'd have bits. People are silly - only reason they find bits odd is that they're used to drinking from concentrate pisswater that has no bits in. The bits are there as they constitute real orange juice. And they're lovely.
  14. The original CC looked good but there was actually very little to it. The battle system is pretty much mastered inside 5 minutes, and almost all the dungeons involved the same sort of puzzles. Dragging out the same gameplay and weak storylines over 3 titles is really pushing it. Also, comparing CC to mainstream FF titles is a bit of a joke really. Except maybe XI. You can tell that a lot of work goes into the gameplay, level up system, storyline and character creation (and usually subsequent development) in games such as X and XII. The characters in CC are pretty void of personality (sometimes even random) and the story for the first one was to just stop the miasma invading the towns.
  15. That's unholy! Where does it go?!
  16. Actually it turns out they were just barbecuing some pigs. Oh yes, Frankie. In all seriousness; it's sad to see someone die, so long as they aren't an evil murderer or rapist. I didn't like her much as a person but that is by no means a reason to moan about plenty of other people dying and not getting any sympathy. If we knew who all these people were, they'd have our sympathy too. It's also somewhat cause and effect - by seeing Jade's agony in our face via newspapers and TV it evokes natural responses such as showing compassion. If anyone is to blame, therefore, it's the media for focusing heavily on her.
  17. Just let him run up to you and mash square, so you counterattack him then floor him. Then quickly magnum him and he will sort of be stunned, allowing you to get loads more hits in. Or infinite rocket him in this position.
  18. I had to play this level with the AI as somehow (either the difficulty is lowered or the computer has hawkeye ability equipped) it's a lot easier. I'd played it many times online with a friend, only to end in failure. After you shoot and therefore use up the red barrel when he picks up a rock (thus making him drop and break it) you are open to being hit by the second rock he throws later on, which is generally the tricky part. But yeah; my advice is to play that one on your own as somehow, magically, it seems to be much easier.
  19. Christ, the Wii version is pretty much just like the DS version in presentation? What a lazy effort. CC has really had its day now, and lets face it; there was never much there to begin with. It's a really basic series. Definite avoid for me.
  20. My gosh, comic readers are a special breed.
  21. That's ridiculously cheap for those two amazing games. The amount of hours you can get out of them makes that price frankly insane.
  22. MM is just a lot more fun, I found. Being able to get around as a ball with spikes at lightning speed, or glide through water like a fish are just some of the things that made the game awesome. That, and the fact the story didn't involve Ganondorf or even Zelda (bar a single flashback). It was basically a fairly non-cliche Zelda title ram-packed with fun and sidequests! Easily one of my favourite ever games; possibly number 2 or 3.
