That nintendo game you just didn't like
Sheikah replied to mcj metroid's topic in General Gaming Discussion
It doesn't, because the Wii hasn't improved that much graphically over the Gamecube, meaning a lot of Wii games still look like they could be Gamecube games. Twilight Princess on Wii is a good looking game, but it looks the same on Gamecube (it is, after all, actually a Gamecube game). What would be impressive is if a PS2 FPS came out with graphics better than your average PS3 FPS. Impressive, but impossible. Well, from a multitude of factors, I would definitely say it is. In terms of personal enjoyment, plot, gameplay and graphics. But hey, we all have our own likes and dislikes. -
Can't they just re-use the graphics engine from the first. Honestly such a brilliant SRPG system.

Umm...I think it was pretty obvious what I stated. Nintendo's Wii hasn't really improved much graphically over the Gamecube, which is why your statement that Gamecube Metroid games look better than many current Wii games holds true. If Nintendo had gone forward with motion sensing but also down the HD route, it's undeniable that there'd be better looking FPS games on the console right now. So you think I should avoid highlighting flaws or merits merely because I write reviews for the website? Or you think I should have an undying loyalty to a particular piece of hardware? A little silly, don't you think? The Xbox outshone the gamecube in terms of visuals, but that never stopped me from preferring the Gamecube's game roster to the Xbox's by a country mile. I like games simply if they appeal to me, and not because they appear on a particular system. I've made sure to acquire all the consoles, just because I'm not attracted to a single platform's games. We're all inclined to agree or disagree with one another, and that's what makes us all different. Hmm, I think your Wind Waker point was good, as that's what made that Zelda game less enjoyable for me. Just repeated segments of water; an integral part of the gameplay, which just made it less fun. Sometimes there can be things that we don't like in games that are just deal-breakers for us. I found that there was a lot of platforming in MP, which just seemed odd for a first person game. Even though you got a double jump (but only some part into the game), I still didn't find it that enjoyable. After completing MP1 I didn't bother to look up MP2 or 3. That's good. As you can tell, I don't just adore games for being on the Wii or Gamecube. There's nothing like unbiased reviews. -
PSP...why?? That's a step down from it being on the PS3, surely. I loved the first game.

The 4 8 15 16 23 42 sign is a reference to the repeating numbers in Lost.

I would love a Final Fantasy theme...and a Zelda theme. Loving the Mario Galaxy one.

Seeing as you rented that game, it made me think 'Hmm, wonder how much that's going for now'. So I found it for £13.95 new including delivery on Play.com PlayTrade. Bought it.

Ok, since this is going around in circles, here is the argument in plain text so that people may refer to it rather than repeat the same things: - British troops are being killed in Afghanistan! > But people sign up to the army, they should know the risks involved! > Plenty more people die elsewhere! - But the government sent the troops out there - and aren't providing adequate funding. You can hate the war, but don't hate the hardworking troops! > But they should know the risks!!1 > Cut back army funding! War is bad! - What the hell, you're missing the point! Whether you agree with it or not, people are being sent to the gallows with poor equipment! They should cut the arts and give that funding to troops! > Day terk errr joorbbbs! > Cease art funding?! You're out of your mind! You're destroying our identity! What we can learn from this topic... - War is bad. - The troops aren't. - They should get more funding to actually carry out their job. - There are actually more pressing world issues. - Cutting back funding to several of the listed things shouldn't happen. And we all walk away feeling slightly dishevelled, but wiser.

So I guess, the moral is, 'Damn the system for creating these monsters!' It's a shame, but they're still massive cocks. Thus, one getting slapped about isn't something that makes me lose any sleep. I've had enough of encountering these brainless, spineless morons in my life so far.

Most of them grow up to be worthless and scrounge off the government. Chavs fail at school in their youth, and are too lay to ever make anything of themselves. And yes, there are hundreds of thousands of people just like this.
-
lol - that's a strange definition of chav. Chavs are generally at the bottom of the social hierarchy, so unless they're looking down on maggots, I don't see how that's possible. :p
-
You can if you consider that the kid was probably a chav. Only silly people believe that chavs being alive are better than chavs being dead.

Hi I'm Daisy! Hi I'm Daisy! Hi I'm Daisy! *Head begins to rotate, accompanied by clicking sounds.* Wouldn't it be swell if this game started a revolution?

By 'eck lad, he's in the forces!

Mmm...nachos. Gotta love 'em. All.

Not trying to sound harsh, but far more people die of disease in developing countries every day than those suffering casualties in the British Army. Over 3,000 African children die every day from Malaria...in the face of which, 15 British soldiers dying in 10 days seems pretty irrelevant. It's funny how we should care more for a certain band of strangers simply because they lived on connected land. Even if they are a small slice of the army protecting us, we can at least say that those soldiers have experienced life somewhat. Never has life been so unequal!

Scum; what an egotistical wanker. This guy's head couldn't get any bigger if it was torn off and inflated with helium. The only thing worse than the chavs on this show is someone whose living is to interact with and goad said parasitic smears.
-
No, but really. If it's a chav then I honestly couldn't care less. It all hinges on whether they were a chav or not. Harsh words, but with all the things to care about these days, probably chavvy kids getting slapped about isn't one of them.
-
I don't know about you, but if I attempted to murder a kid I'm pretty sure I'd actually be able to and therefore murder him. 'Attempted Murder' sounds a bit overblown.

Ok, but it's still the superior game. -

In every way. -
All it needs is a few pictures of these kids involved...if they're chavs, then there's no way anyone should feel concerned. It really is that simple, these days. You see a stab victim in the papers and think 'gosh', but upon seeing the picture of a chav you think 'that's a relief. One less of those around'. Never has life been so unequal.
