Whut? It's a lot more than producing better hardware. Their OS, network features...hell, their whole antiquated set of beliefs. Their image. And worst of all? I don't think they can compete on the level that the other two do, no matter what they change. They can try prove me wrong, by all means.

I know I asked this before but I think there was a glitch when Shorty tried to bump it up...is there any way to increase my PM inbox from 175? I read that other people had higher allowances, and I'm loathe to delete some of my PMs. Sentimatelityetc.

It's not really the 'same' problem, since you'd be missing out on far fewer games. Regardless, if given the option of buying 2 consoles instead of 3, with the relegated console being the worst technically, support and popularity wise, I'd be happier. 2 consoles to buy is better than 3.

You're not just buying a MS/Sony console for their exclusives though. You're buying it for MS/Sony exclusives, and nearly all third party games. With the Wii U you're pretty much just buying it for the exclusives, and the hardware and therefore power potential of the games is much more limited. It makes sense, in this hypothetical discussion, for Nintendo to be the one to move.

I love a good grind, but the kind that makes you feel really powerful. You tried Disgaea? Replaying Disgaea 3 on the Vita version, without doubt some of the best strategy RPG fare there is.

I think a resounding "no" to that.

Thanks for a really fun game. Shame Jamba went a bit AWOL af the end since he might have winged something good to get some Cube votes. I gave it away when I tried to stop Jamba's lynch, but by that point with a protector about and a good number of players I didn't think the chances were that high of solo winning. I was really hoping Jamba would vote and maybe we could have grabbed another vote from somewhere (or at least stop Jamba's lynch to majority vote Cube maybe with Rummy next day). In the end it was a shame Cube was spotted being roleblocked by Yvonne since that gave him a good alibi. Not being able to talk to my scumbags was pretty tricky, since we couldn't co ordinate that well, although I did have the ability to boost and kill simultaneously which gave me a decent alibi. I would have been roleblocked by Jimbob earlier on when Jonnas used the catseye marble since it sends dinosaurs at me. Luckily I was quite the item grabber so the Lionel mug protected me from that.

This is generally why I avoid hard mode in games like these. When 'hard' is simply an increase of enemy stats such that you just grind yours even higher it doesn't feel like it's more of a challenge, just more of a bore.

I got pretty bored of this to be honest. It sorta feels like what happened with the Halo series - insanely popular to begin with yet fizzled out in terms of people recommending it/caring much about it by the end.

Well there goes my Mafia tactic. Get town to reveal everything about themselves on the off chance there's a hidden dude on our side still fighting the bad fight. Rats...

Another funny thing was Jonnas's use of the catseye marble earlier on. I'll leave ReZ the joy of explaining the slice of close call with that one. :p Although technically it might not have been as bad as I initially thought since Jimbob was a roleblocker.

Yeah he was. Yvonne roleblocked you to allow that to happen, but I didn't do it. Given Yvonne was going to be hot for targeting against that night I thought Jimbob might roleblock him, so I killed Jimbob instead. I was also worried about the roleblocker since I was the only one who could kill. I could be roleblocked and the kill stopped, then he might roleblock me again to double check his result... wasting two nights. Glad I didn't really since Peeps tracked it all.

This was fun. I was the only one who could kill, and I couldn't communicate with the rest of the Mafia. I'm so...murderous.

At least 5 of the 7 members of the fellowship chosen keybearers must journey to Mordor a secret base in USA to cast the keys into Mount Doom effectively rectify and restart the Internet. This shit needs a South Park LOTR crossover.

This is £10 cheaper to preorder digital on the PSN Store (£25). No idea if it will stick around that price on/after launch.

Preorder Infamous Second Son + PS4 console bundle for £385 on Amazon. Since the game isn't even out yet and seems to be priced at £50 everywhere, that's a decent saving of 15 quid. Think I might place a preorder down...I have about £30 Amazon gift credit and by that point there'll be some good games out. Infamous is looking really nice, too.

Bringing 60 FPS to games is now like what HD was in the last generation, at least with home consoles. They need to sort their shit out.

There is a game to show a big difference actually, just look at Killzone. It looks a lot better than most PS3 games.

I don't think that's true at all. The problem at the moment is that there are many multiformat games being released to run on both last and next gen consoles. While you might see superficial improvements on the the next gen versions (60 FPS/ 1080p), the games themselves aren't being made to a next gen standard. You're not going to have significantly more character models on screen for instance as that would change to the gameplay between versions. Laypeople and techies know the PS4 is much more powerful - you don't need to listen to Sony's marketing to know that. You just have to wait for the switchover to happen when most games no longer release on last gen consoles. This isn't just something that has happened between PS3 to 4 either.
