  1. *Comic Sans high five!*

  2. That was bloody brilliant. And I must concur with goafer, I swear I saw none other than Bayside High Wrestling Champ himself, AC slater!
  3. Ahhh, I missed it! Gonna go and try to catch it on 4oD on the box later though, I've been informed it was quite hilarious!
  4. OK People, here's a map or two, with which I need the help of someone who was there last year or just general people to help me determine our meeting location! Curious where you guys met last year though, it seemed to work and all. First up, a slightly zoomed out map with transport/tube stations and lines marked on it; For people who might need to know; Piccadilly line. Victoria Line. Central Line. Circle and District Line. Bakerloo Line. Jubilee Line. And this is a slightly more zoomed in one, please take this map and add an x in a colour of your choice but preferably red to indicate where the treasure is buried/where to meet.
  5. Is a cube square? Anyhows, Happy Birthday to one of the dudiest Cube's around!
  6. What is this 'friend request' jay? I thought we were already friends! :'(

Is this going to mean something, or are you just whoring for lackies to join your posse, because I'm not here for that man, I want something real! Something that means something! I want a proper friendship, I'm not gonna stand to just be added to your 'friend' count, we've got something better than that, haven't we?!?

HOLD ME AND TELL ME YOU LOVE ME JAY, TELL ME YOU LOVE MMMEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee............

  7. So I bought a cheap old stick this one time, and it was good and worked, for about a month. I tried it on a mate's macbook one time and it wouldn't recognise it, so I just presumed the thing had a problem with macs, but since then it hasn't worked at all. I plug it into a computer, and it makes the 'd-dunk' sound that computers make when you plug stuff into the usb! It recognises it to the extent I then get the Safely Remove Hardware option, and it knows it's a USB mass storage device. However, that's all. Nothing else seems to recognise it! It doesn't show up in my computer, it doesn't show up in Disk Management(something I know little about but had suggested to me for formatting it). I'm wondering if there is any way I can somehow force this thing to reformat, I'm sure there must be some software out there that could, I just don't know where to start really. I'm hoping that might fix it up into working order again? EDIT: Dunno if it's of any note, but it has a little red light in the back that flashes when it's doing stuff, quite standard. This thing flashes constantly after being plugged in now, indefinitely.
  8. Mate. I want this. Inside me. I'm gonna be out tonight though!! OUT. I'm very nearly tempted to come home just for it, or force it on if I'm at someone's house. Seen the ads on Dave, looking...interesting. I wanna see how it's held up, but I for some reason just can't imagine it hasn't. I reckon it'll still have some of the classic magic there. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...then I jizzed in my pants.
  9. Hehe, I thought exactly the same thing!! Chris Moyles is quite easily avoidable for me, so I shall spare him any face punching(besides I don't hate him that much), it's usually the ones that are everywhere that bother me the most! Though I'm gonna say...I like Horne and Corden. Loose women is a guilty daytime pleasure of mine, also. Though a few of them can be immensely annoying, come to think of it. Lol, genius, well played good sir. *tips hat*
  10. Carrot Hedgehog was kinda funny, though on a similar line just yesterday I somehow stumbled upon a video of a porcupine eating some banana(I got lost for half a day on cracked.com, think it was there). But yeah, mofo is just too damn awesomely cute and tings all over, even has hiccups apparently;
  11. Well, whilst we were in the thread earlier and haggis said he couldn't see it, I checked and realised I couldn't either! Just seen that it's there now though, so I dunno why it wasn't earlier.
  12. Well, mine doesn't actually have very much profile informations on it, however it does look kind of colourful, and actually turned out different to what I expected based on the previews, but I like it! Now for me to abandon it and never use it again weeee!
  13. My original internet forums that I stopped visiting ages ago got all this fancy update thing with friends, profiles, the walls etc, think they had colours too but really on the whole...I just think it's a bit unnneccessary! Having said that, I think I might just now have to go and pimp my profile, to be awesome and fit in with the cool kids/induce some fits. One thing that aforemention forum has had for ages is a good ol' rep system....*nudge nudge, wink wink*
  14. I love the new quick reply box, I've been waiting for this mofo for ages! As for the rest, well, it's not of any massive appeal to me, but I can appreciate all the hard work you've done for the forums, thanks! Whats this about the april fools again though, or was that a hilarious joke by Cube?
  15. So I just googled an old 'fact'(the mel blanc one) I'd heard to check if I remembered it right, found a post on a forum with lots of random/pointless 'facts', only to see most of the following posts debunking their supposed accuracy. Now I feel disheartened by it all But...I'll post them anyway! Apparently these are mostly quite questionable. Yoinked from here. Number 18 was the best thing to read in it all for me lol. As for Mel Blanc, apparently he wasn't allergic, just hated the taste and it got int he way of talking too.
  16. I met that self proclaimed 'internet funny guy' jerkoff who calls himself Resourcemen or something retarded. Amazingly, it's like the camera took off ten pounds! Bit of a fatty in the flesh. jkilurez <3 (On an unrelated note, liking the new quick reply layout, it actually has like...all the fuctions I hate having to Go Advanced for!)
  17. Oh my. Yesterday I was in the mood for TD and googled 'Tower Defense games' came up with a site full of loads of them, and spent pretty much my entire day playing GemCraft and Gem Tower Defense(the gem theme is just coincidental). Know of anything out there kind of like Ninjatowny style? Heh, just seen from the link, you were on the same site as me!
  18. I disagree with this rule! I've only been playing for a page though. I turn to gamesmistress bluey for adjudication!
  19. I think I'll just step over here now...
  20. Heh Flink, the 4man team did rather own! I liked it cos as I said, I sucked when I first played this, and it was really nice for us all to be on a team together(i could share in some glory I'd never achieve alone! :p) but it also helped me pick the game up a bit more too. It basically did happen that you all could only control one character on the team, but it would tend to change after each goal, sometimes a total shuffle, sometimes just two of us. Might have to bust this title out again sometime at another gamesday gathering now... As for the game and later directions; Unlockables would be good for adding a bit of extended challenge like, as people have said and myself included the title fell stale fast because of the ridiculous AI jump later on. It can't be looked at too footbally though, I mean, it's the charm of the mario/nintendo style and vibe that makes this what it is, and whilst I don't have many suggestions on the way of future improvement, I'd just say to not make it too much like the serious football games, unless they manage to underpin everything they do with that Ninty charm.
  21. 'As of March 31, 2008, 1.77 million copies of the game have been sold worldwide, with 240,000 being sold in Japan.' Yoinked from Wiki, so unreliable maybe, tho it's sourced there I cba to check. I've never been much of a football man/fan, and so this didn't appeal to me on release. However, two good gaming buddies of mine both had it, and I took it for a bit of a spin but realisticly, I sucked. I sucked...yet I kind of loved the game! I remember playing some 2v2, and even one time 4 of us on a team VS a hard comp! I eventually ended up buying it(I had a dissertation to do ) for like £17 off ebay, which wasn't bad given the price at the time, and the copy was nigh mint too. I really played it through the single player a bit, a few online matches too but I weren't up to standard(plus the spammers and crap annoyed me) but after a while it got too hard and I gave up, just couldn't find myself overcoming anything! Maybe I'll dust it off and bust it out again sometime soon though, it was a rather good game with a definite nintendo feel to it.
  22. And the seed is sown.
  23. Andre the Giant starred in The Princess Bride which featured Chris Sarandon... Chris Sarandon was the first husband of Susan Sarandon... Susan Sarandon later settled down and remains with her domestic partner Tim Robbins... Tim Robbins was the president in Austin Powers 2 which starred Mike Myers Mike Myers and Alec Baldwin starred together in The Cat in the Hat Alec Baldwin shared a lead role in The Hunt for Red October with Sean Connery... Sean Connery was none other than Indy aka Harrison Ford's dad in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade! Man, this was actually kind of bloody hard! I tried making it interesting and ended up at 8, so I changed it Still went one over though Aaanyway....the next challenge is Harrison Ford and......Will Ferrell!
  24. I sort of half noticed myself, but I thought it was just me...not posting so much. There's no damn good threads lately maybe? Though having said that, the HWYD ripsplits were quite good for stimulating a conversation or two. Start some good(not like this :p) threads, see what happens! I decided to abandon the HWYD thread on the whole though, maybe that's why I post less? Exactly! Procrastination central!
  25. Only times I've ever seen them is at amusment park places, so maybe 3 or 4 times in my entire life(tho I encountered those presumably polarised lenses a very long while back), I dunno where things are on it all now or how good/different it is. It is/was bloody fun though! I think it'd have to depend on the film, but the first thing I thought of whilst reading this was Snakes on a Plane, especially that bit when the snake jumps up and stuff. It's such a silly film it could easily be 3D without it taking much away.
