I found the punching of the horse by a drunken arnie pretty fucking hilarious.

As far as I know...

That's Jim/Flink. I'm Joe.

Conan the Destroyer is probably funnier for the pure randomness. This one is still genius.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the demo at all. Not sure what happened in the graphics department, really looks terrible. It felt a lot like DMC gameplay wise except I actually had fun with that. 13 years eh? Damn...

I find I do that turn and shoot people before I know they're there too. It's like a sixth sense because it's always a direct hit. I think it's simply down to personal awesomeness and the fact i've been playing unreal for years :P. I'll add you at some point Dan because so far only one other person I know has the game and he doesn't have live

Aye I agree it is by far the best computer coop system. I'd just rather not do it again. I hope Chris goes it alone in the next one, I don't mind gun support from Lopez woman though.

That's definitely what I find addictive about this game. It gives you a 'rush'. Sounds stupid but I can always feel my heart beating insanely fast when i'm trying to escape with the flag, dodging shit all over the place

So it's you that always gets the f**king darkwalker is it . Nah I don't mind it, what does annoy me are team mates that just piss off on their own little missions. All you hear is "Red/Blue core is vulnerable!". NO SHIT! I can't defend and attack! I prefer CTF or Deathmatch myself, facing worlds is teh shit!

Haha yeh it sure was, I felt so sorry for him he pretty much nailed everyone for me. One thing I do hope is not in the next one is a character you have to help/protect. How that annoys me in games. Unless the character is controllable through a second player the CPU will ALWAYS either; Get in the way and get killed. Get killed in some bizarre way. Get in YOUR way and get YOU killed. Not doing what you order them to. Keep chatting shit until you want to kill them and you can't. To be fair Ashley wasn't THAT annoying as I can think of more irritating characters. She proved my point the other day though as i'm going through the game again on Normal. I'm at that point where you have to keep the dudes off her back while she cranks some things. Stupid thing was I did all that, I went up to the ledge and caught her and ran off. I told her to follow me and went about my business assuming she would. What happens?! HEEEEEEEEEELLP LEEEOOOON!... BITCH! She gets caught so I take down the dude who's grabbed her, I give him another shot while he's down and what happens... the bullet goes through him and hits her killing her. If that stupid cow had followed me in the first place that wouldn't have happened. To say I was annoyed would be the understatement of the century.

I recently completed RE4 after starting it on launch (yes hilarious, anyway). I didn't realise how close to the end I was when I got stuck. I basically got to...

Traitor!! I had the same worries to be honest. Unreal is known for it's lightning pace and i'm afraid there's no let up in this one. I was actually surprised it kept up the speed on consoles, especially online. I can't say how easy it'd be for a beginner as i've been playing it since the first one, I can imagine it'd be considerably harder than say Halo 3 or CoD4. Don't know why people complain so much about it not having mouse and keyboard support, I found the transition seamless. I guess i'm fortunate to be able to use both control styles.

I never knew McLovin was a real person...

I've had it since last week. Bloody awesome game brings back many nostalgic moments.

"Lobb tells us that you will "level up" Banjo as you move through the game, but you'll only power up his basic move set and stats rather than gain new skills and moves. Those are the vehicle's domain." Right so it's now a vehicle platforming game... If they were so bothered about getting from one end of the map to the other vehicles aren't the ONLY way to do it. Teleport? Shapeshifting Banjo into a plane? Actually USING Kazooie considering he's a friggen bird!?. That sounds like a really crap excuse they came up with just because of the feedback they've been getting. I'm not sold on this yet, especially seeing as it looks as if they're ripping off the motion controller. I like many other people bought the 360 because it DIDN'T have all these motion sensing games. I do wonder if it's the remote by itself or if it is a complete rip off and it's attached to an analogue stick.

I remember wanting it but never got around to it. I just bought it for PC instead. Man, worst game of the 64 era has to be Quake 2. The disappointing thing is it's awesome on the PSX and PC, how the hell they managed to make it SO bad on the 64 I don't know. I ended up hating it so much I broke the cartridge in half, and if anyone has actually attempted this they know how bloody hard that is. There are so many underrated classics on the system though; Spacestation silicon valley, Conkers bad fur day, Excitebike 64, Rogue Squadron, Jet Force Gemini and yes even Episode 1 Racer (someone managed to get something decent out of that piece of shite film). I remember one of my main gripes about the system at the time was the price of the games. They'd retail at around £50 and for a kid that's a bit of a joke. Especially when some games REQUIRED the £30 expansion pack, Perfect Dark for example. It made me laugh when I read the back of the Perfect Dark box to see the checklist of features you get with/without the expansion pack. I remember thinking to myself at the time, "Yeh... that'll be £80 then". It was pointless having the game without the expansion. It's amazing how 4MB of RAM can make such a difference. I think easily the best memory for me, hands down, is first entering several areas of Ocarina of Time. In fact nearly every area; Hyrule Field, Gerudo Desert, Hyrule Lake, Kakariko Village etc. Absolute masterpiece.

I think there's a reason why the phrase "Nice guys/gals come last" actually exists and that has been pointed out several times in this thread. It's people as a collective. I'm sure Derren Brown did a study on people on this exact topic. He got a group of people and put them in a scenario where they had to help someone/do something good, and no-one did because they were waiting for someone else to react. It's this so called 'Sheep mentality'. I've been in scenarios where I have acted, and some where I haven't. I try to be as nice and friendly as I can to people and I don't expect anything in return. It does make me wonder do we subconsciously look to a 'leader figure' within the group when said scenarios happen? Someone else to make the tough decision for us? I know I've fallen for this at times, mainly when I don't know the solution. I guess it really depends on situation you're in. I've slightly strayed from the original topic of individuals being nice. What I'm trying to say is even though I am a nice person I will look for other nice people to do the deed for me.

Nightfire wasn't bad, was that the one where you could randomly grapple hook any roof? That made multiplayer matches pretty damned funny I can tell you. I have Everything or Nothing and it's the best one i've played after Goldeneye. I think one of the main reasons I haven't got into the other games is simply because they're not based on Bond films I actually like. I think Casino Royale is awesome and so hopefully i'll be picking this one up.
-
Well if it's Treyarch doing it I hope they do a good job of the multiplayer because I imagine that's the only reason i'd get this game. If they can manage the awesomeness of Goldeneyes single player i'll be impressed.

Wow, just when I thought you couldn't get any more of a tit... you did . I love Banjo Kazooie, the music, the locations, the puzzles. I think technically it's the most superior out of all the N64 platformers although Super Mario 64 will always hold a place in my heart. I play it now and yes it does look pretty terrible stacked up to other N64 games but you can't blame it for not aging well, it was the first 64 game. What it lacks in graphics it more than makes up for it in pure platforming genius. I remember when I first got it and the simple joy of exploring the worlds, trying to get to places you weren't allowed etc. It really was revolutionary and that's why it will always be the N64 platformer I hold dearest.

I played this not long ago. I always break it out every now and again. Thing is I always start off playing it innocently but I just know eventually i'm going to end up seeing how many different ways I can kill the scientists in Facility. Or creating a huge stack of remote mines, setting them off, then give the game slowdown for 10 minutes. Great success!

I'm loving the throwback to N64 graphics. What? It wasn't intentional, oh...

Where the shit is Rogue Squadron 64! I spent hours getting the gold medals.

I think I was searching for the thing without knowing the name though . Or I thought it was Cadburys. I'll sign it but I dunno how to do it on Facebook
