Do GAME have the most retarded support staff ever? It's like they're all dyslexic. I sent them an email demanding my demo code. No reply. I sent another email saying i'll cancel my preorder if they don't sent me the code. I get an email back saying 'Thank you, we've can confirm the receipt of your preorder'. DUHHH what?! I don't know what their problem is with me because they did this with ODST.
-
I haven't received any code. I knew they'd do this, it was the only reason I preordered with them. It's the most expensive price for it too so I might cancel my preorder and go with someone else.
-
That's disappointing. Hey ho the gameplay is sounding good enough.
-
I'm no graphics whore but personally I think this looks REALLY good visually. I'm quite surprised but then again Sega have always been good in that respect (i.e F-Zero GX). I really want to see what this looks like in motion.
-
Surely that makes it the worst? I mean how the hell did they clone her after she fell into molten metal lol. Alien 3 was ok but again it just didn't need to happen.
-
Hmm, well it's good to know they are sending them. Can never be too sure with GAME. I had to ask 3 times for them to send me my pre-order code that I should have got with ODST.

Are you having a laugh? Where the hell's mine

They're comin out the goddamn walls!! To be fair to the first AvP it wasn't THAT bad. It was pretty average and it had Bishop in it. It kinda ties in the origins of Weyland Yutini (Corporation in Aliens/3). Aside from the cheesiness of the actors and script it was bearable, like the first Resident Evil. The 2nd however, is another story entirely. It is definitely in my top 5 worst films ever. There was nothing good about it and it just destroyed both franchises. The ending annoyed me more than anything as it set up ANOTHER sequel with the Yutini corporation. Why Fox keep giving these franchises to retarded directors is beyond me, it's like they want them to die a slow and painful death. As for Rodriguez' Predators, god knows. I have no hope whatsoever on that one and I just don't get why it has to happen at all. Just hope Ridley Scott knows what he's doing with Alien: Origins.

Did anyone pre-order with GAME? When I did it said that i'd get early access to the demo and an exclusive weapon. All I keep seeing is that only the PC demo is out tomorrow...
-
Hmm, i'm also wondering about this release date. It really should have been announced...

February is too far

It's got the feel of a 64 era Rare game, which is good. Very much like Conkers Bad Fur Day. Except Metal. I tried the online thing but got my ass kicked. It took me ages to realise you had to click the right thumbstick to fly in order to build units...

I saw an interview with the developer that basically said this was initially going to be a multiplayer orientated game and that the single player is really to 'teach' you how to survive online. In fact the online aspect is pretty much the main reason i'm getting this. Hopefully it should come today, it said next day delivery and was dispatched yesterday.

When that Black Sabbath riff kicked in at the start I knew I had to have it. Personally I like beat em ups so a metal version of Golden Axe should keep me entertained.

This is bad news for me though. I've been a fan since forever and it really ended for me after Series 6. I really tried to like 7 and 8 but the characters just seemed weird and different. Though that being said BTE did rectify a few things. The Cat became a bit more intelligent again like the old series and there was some better Rimmer/Lister banter. It was still pretty shocking in my opinion.

Red Dwarf - Rob Grant = Shite.

Exactly. I perfectly understand people not wanting to play randoms but what's wrong with giving those that do the option? It just seems pretty unusual to me.

So why isn't Firefight a matchmaking type affair like any other multi-player...

I'm not paying £45 for it either purely out of principle. You start accepting higher prices then everyone will follow. Plus i'll be bumming Left 4 Dead 2 so it's all academic. In my opinion CoD isn't that great anyway.

For me it was a pretty good episode. Seemed 'standard' Peep Show in all honesty. I liked the story twist with Mark losing his job haha. For me the quality has varied over the years. I think if I were to place it in order it'd be 2 > 1 > 4 > 5 > 3. I think this series will hopefully stay on the same scale as 4 and 5. I don't think it'll ever reach a peak again. I loved series 2 the most simply because of the amazing episode where Mark stalks a girl to Uni, hilarious.

Ga(y)mer Very rarely do I feel so strongly about a film (or warning people away from) that I feel I have to post something about it. Now, i'll say this now I was not 'looking forward' to seeing this film or held any interest prior. I went as I thought it might be entertaining and was curious to see why it gained an 18. The film i'm talking about is Gamer. I warn everyone reading this to just stay well clear, it's an abomination in every possible way. Direction, acting, script, story, everything was absolutely terrible. My previous worst film that i'd ever seen was Resident Evil: Apocalypse but only now can I appreciate how good that film is compared to this. I would rather watch that looped back to back for a day I think than watch Gamer again. I thought the fact it had Gerard Butler in it that it might possibly be ok. Jeez it's right what they say about assumptions... I think this film is a culmination of some weirdos retarded wet dream and a distorted view of what gamers actually are. There is no way in hell this game was made by gamers, in fact i'd go as far as to say this seemed like a public service video warning people off of games. Thing is though that doesn't really bother me as the mainstream media has never had a clue about the gaming community. Plus I don't hold any loyalty to it anyway. The film was just simply bollocks. There were times I tried to get into it but the story would just fall through with another unexplained twist. Also I do believe they only had 2 locations for the entire film and possibly one actual stunt shot from 20 angles to make it look different. All in all it just seemed like one relentless collage of grey. I'd rather cut my own face off with a shard of broken glass than see it again. Personal highlight: Probably the most cringeworthy moment in any film ever. Man says to woman "How about I breach your firewall ;)" -100/10

So Sonic Rush HD then. Shame I wasn't really a fan of that, just the first 3 (and SnK). I preferred the balance of platforming and speed in the early ones compared to the later speed fest pressing an occasional button.
