Mass effect is one of my favourite games ever. I really hope they're consistent with the quality in this one. If there's some gameplay enhances that'd be cool but i'm really only interested in the story. Sequels are always difficult. As long as it doesn't fall into the same trap they all do and become too complicated then it should be good. I'm getting a very Empire Strikes Back vibe from it, awesome

Colonial Marines is always just destined for failure. It's happened once when it was announced for PS2. It'll happen again. The stupid thing is it'd be crazy popular. How many games have been influenced by Aliens for god sake. Halo for one. SEGA are a pretty dumb company though so they'll probably can it in favour of another worthless Sonic game.

I think it's like a 1 in 10 chance of bricking your box. Someone apparently just hooked up a brand new box after trading in the bricked one and the update has dissapeared. Didn't mean to worry everyone just sharing the news lol. You have to have the update to use your box but you can choose not to install it. In other words you might as well risk it considering you can't use it without the update anyway :p

Well it looks like it is the update. Over on the official Xbox forums a lot of people have had the same problem. Downloaded the update, Xbox gets bricked. I must remember to thank them for fixing the HDMI audio I don't use.

Looks like the update a few days ago is causing RRODs. http://forums.xbox.com/25603474/ShowPost.aspx So Microsoft managed to fuck my Xbox over there was probably nothing wrong with it . I wonder if there'll be any compensation.

Hmm, I just downloaded a new 360 update. I boot up Fallout and after 10 minutes i've got a RROD... Has anyone else had any issues with the new update?

I used to, and still do sometimes, play the original Team Fortress on PC. There's quite a loyal following still on there. I did like TF2 and i've got it on xbox360 but all this crap about there's loads of people on there and tons of servers is basically shit. Everytime I go on there, there's at best 5 servers. You're very lucky to get one which doesn't lag too. Also people seem to only play 2fort. What's the point in the other maps if you don't play them. It's a shame really because there was no reason why it couldn't have worked on the 360, they just fucked it up.

I decided to explore up North today, bumped into Paradise Falls. I decided to take on the slaver task. Went to Rivet city to enslave some guy and everyone went apeshit at me!

Is it normal to spend hours on this at a time, like, a day. I must have been exploring and wandering for most of today. I'm really starting to get the hang of it, may even bump it up to Normal.

Discovered that Moria(?) bitch in Megaton and her quests to get you adjusted to the game. I wish i'd found that earlier but I didn't realise the place was only locked at night. Finally found an empty bed to sleep in to. Don't think i'm ready to go up to Normal though. 4 raiders nearly killed me...

Nice to see Freedom Fighters in someone else's list. I really love/d that game. It had great sequel potential but it wasn't to be. It's weird how the GC did so average in sales despite all of us having rather large collections. What would you guys suggest? The only side quest I have is finding some gang called The Family. I went where I was told and there were a shit load of mutants so I gave up on that.
