  1. Isn't it still sealed on the shelf?
  2. The PS4 version i bought didn't come with a map... Unless you are talking about the Complete Edition?
  3. Its been like this for decades. Whoever the media decide to back, wins. The Murdoch empire used to back Tory - Tories won. In 1997, they swapped to back Labour - Labour won. Shortly after Blair left, they swapped back - Tory have won ever since. Its going to be a problem unless you break up the media, or somehow prevent biased reporting, but i think that's going to be even harder since the advent of the internet/social media.
  4. https://www.pcmag.com/news/366051/mastercard-bans-automatic-billing-after-free-trials Relevant article.
  5. Before the campaigning started, i was predicting another hung parliament, but now i think it'll be a Tory majority. Its depressing, but nothing they do seems to change people's minds. The more they lie and cheat, the more their vote share seems to climb! I don't think there will be a huge youth turnout either. Due to Brexit, there is too much apathy for politics, and the fact that this election is in the dead of winter means that people will just not bother.
  6. Fat lot of good it'll do though. Some polls are putting the Tories on 47% What the actual fuck?
  7. Saw Frozen 2 last night, and wasn't that impressed by it. The first 30 mins felt like a weird fan fiction, and the ending was very flat. I felt like the film needed a proper villain or something? Thought that the songs seemed crammed in, rather than occuring naturally, and none of them were very memorable. What were the two groups of people doing in the forest for 35 years? Were they fighting? Were they just living there together? Seemed a bit weird. Visuals were amazing though, and i loved the fire salamander, and the Sven/Christof duet. Olaf retelling the plot of the first film was the best bit by far though.
  8. You should also look into getting a Quest and a Link cable. You get the best of the wired pc games and the portability of the Quest too.
  9. I've seen comments from people who are on >£80k saying that these extra taxes are going to be hard on them and I'm just flabbergasted. Firstly, they don't seem to realise that if they are struggling, what about the 95% of everyone else who earn less than them. Secondly, how the fuck are they struggling? I earn way way less than that, and i will have shitloads of money left at the end of the month. I would happily pay 1 or 2 % extra tax, and could easily afford it. Maybe they need to eat fewer avocados etc.
  10. Had very few things through my letter box, and no canvassers yet at all. Only had that weird Lib Dem leaflet with Jo Swinson on the front looking like an M&S fashion advert. I'll definitely be voting Labour. I have no idea what'll happen in my constituency though. It used to be Tory, then narrowly switched to Labour, but also voted Remain, and the Lib Dems seem to be pushing it quite heavily. Worried that the left wing vote might be split and let the Tories back in.
  11. Nice to meets you Amabel. I can see from your picture that you are a construction worker. Is that a fun job? I hope you enjoy yourself here, reading all the news and announcement posts. I hope you have a long and happy life!
  12. Anybody watching the Crown? I can't get over how good the guy playing Prince Phillip is. His accent and mannerisms are perfect!
  13. Went to see Last Christmas on Saturday. I really enjoyed it, but it wasn't what i expected. It definitely wasn't a Wham musical; it was barely even Wham related, but i enjoyed it as a light hearted rom com. 7.5/10
  14. I would be shocked if you could. You couldn't with Pokemon Let's Go.
  15. Unfortunately i don't have a PC powerful enough to play this.....but when i do!

    Just Cause 4

So i've been playing this on and off for a few weeks now, and finally managed to complete the main story of the games few nights ago. The game just feels so......rushed? Unfinished? I've seen lots of complaints about the graphics, but honestly I think those are great. Sometimes you get a strange cloud or two, but on the whole I don't have a lot fo complaints on the graphics front. The gameplay too is fine. It still massively fun to play, and all the additional mechanics they've added make for an almost unlimited amount of things to do, if you have the imagination. Unfortunately, it's the rest of the game that seems to have suffered. I would say roughly a quarter of the missions I played suffered from some sort of glitch, and around a third of those glitches were game-breaking and needed a restart. The one that happened most was when the wave of enemies that I was supposed to fight off failed to materialise, and I couldn't finish the mission until i'd killed the non-existent enemies. The story was thread-bare to the point of basically being non-existent. Obviously JC games are not famed for their storyline, but if you cut all the waffle out of the cut-scenes, you could probably explain the entire story in about 15 seconds. The mission variety was getting pretty samey by the end as well. Most of the missions involved 'hacking' into several terminals, or destroying several generators, then protecting something for 3 minutes until the cavalry arrives. Most of the time, this was pretty easy too - I think I only died a handful of times actually completing missions. The large majority of my deaths in this game was accidentally wing-suiting full speed into something (my fault), and the rest were when my vehicle randomly exploded with no warning (games fault). I did enjoy the ancient statue missions where you need to use the grapple to move giant stone balls around the map. They were actually quite fun, and I feel like more missions where you use your abilities in creative ways should have been added. Sometimes I feel like the developers spent more time putting Easter Eggs into the game than basic game design though - I stumbled across a recreation of the velociraptor enclosure from Jurassic Park, complete with a man's disembodied arm draped across a console. That was fun. Anywho - fun game, but I will seriously reconsider buying the inevitable JC5 unless they spend a bit more time on the mission design/story element.
  17. In case you were still wondering, here is a list of the sword exclusives:
  18. I keep forgetting that none of you have read any of the leaks; wondering about what the starters might evolve into etc. I have decided against getting the game, at least for a while. Pissed that they cut my favourite 'Mon, and generally don't like the look of the rest of the game.
  19. I once accidentally paid for LinkedIn pro, and got charged £400. I emailed them and got most of it back though. Maybe try asking for a refund?
  20. So what exactly have Gamefreak been doing in the meantime? Because they dont seem to have been working on the graphics, music, models, animations, additional features, trading mechanisms or good new pokemon designs...
  21. Climate change. Release a Direct with a David Attenborough voice-over.
  22. There were a lot of people saying the ref ruined the game, but to me both second yellows looked justified. It was just unlucky they both came in the same move. I didn't watch the whole game though, so didn't see any of the other decisions.
