Is that the actual last one?

I was a bit reluctant to watch S2 of this after feeling a bit let down by season 1. However, as the show has gone on, i've realised that I'm actually enjoying it more the further they deviate from the books. Not only do i stop nit-picking all the tiny details being wrong (because the changes are large scale instead), I realise that i don't know what is going to happen next, which makes it a bit more exciting! It's kind of like a new story in the universe of Randland, which feels a bit familiar, but is ultimately different. I still get to see all the locations and some of the characters from the books, but I get to watch a new-ish story being told. Anyway, i'm greatly enjoying it, and my wife is very on-board with it too (she asked to see a map last night, as she was getting confused as to where everyone was - i almost fainted with glee, grabbing one of the books from the shelf to show her). One of the few things i'm not enjoying is the actor playing Perrin is crap - he can't act at all. He looks the part, but I can't stand his weird whispering voice that he does, and his 'beast mode' bit is just bizarre. Maybe he'll improve.

Yeah I wanted to ask someone if it was just good for an adaptation, or good overall, because I've not seen the anime.

I vaguely remember playing a Baldurs Gate game on the PS2 which was a dungeon hack and slash game rather than a turn based one? Am I misremembering, or did they change the game type at some point?

I like to use Duolingo to learn a bit of the language for anywhere in planning to go on holiday. Used it to learn some Portuguese, Hungarian, and French. Going to Corfu in Oct, so I'm learning Greek now! First one I've tried that has a different alphabet though, which makes things trickier. The first 30 days or so are just learning the letters and sounds. Knowing a few Greek letters from algebra helped quite a bit with that.

Spider-Man 2 for the GameCube was indeed excellent. However, that was named after the film Spider-Man 2, whilst this latest one is so-called because it is the sequel to the PS4 game Spider-Man, and not related to any film. It's all gone a bit confusing really. Especially because the first game was known as Spider-Man PS4, so this one should really be Spider-Man PS4 2, or Spider-Man PS5, but it is neither of those.

I don't know when I'm going to get around to playing games again, but when I do, these are what I plan to buy: Tears of the Kingdom - enjoyed the first one, quite looking forward to playing the second, but expecting quite a time sink. The first was quite a good pick-up-and-play game though, so as soon as I start getting some more free time, this will be first on my Switch list. Spider-Man 2 - Cannot wait to play this. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS5, but this is the game that will get me to buy one. The whole thing just looks fantastic. Telltales The Expanse - I know Telltales output fell off a cliff somewhat, but I'm hoping this offering will be good. The Expanse is one of the best sci-fi shows ever made, so I'm hoping this game will tie in nicely and be something nice to play in the evening. I'm hoping to get my wife involved, since she loved The Expanse, and a choose your adventure style game might be sitting she would enjoy playing together.

Assuming she was mayor during the events of Super Mario Odyssey, her mayoral term is probably up. Maybe she didn't run for a second term, or perhaps she lost to a different candidate.

One theory is that the bill for their cloud services use kicked on the 1st July, and they couldn't pay it, and they were frantically trying to transfer everything from Google over onto their own servers, but couldn't get it done in time, so the whole website fell over.

So I found and downloaded the MP3 of this song for some reminiscing. It's still an absolute banger. Put it on at bathtime and my 2 year old was dancing around the room in his nappy. He obviously recognises quality.
