So i've been watching Series 6 of My Hero Academia, i think i'm up to episode 126.

I suppose it's a bit like having Wogan or Norton narrating Eurovision. Some people might find them annoying, but i love the way they take the piss out of the whole thing.

I don't understand how or why anyone watches something like that all the way through. That shit is so annoying - like you're trying to watch a film and your friend keeps making snarky comments all the time.

What should DK sound like? I don't think i've ever heard him talk in anything yet.

First two episodes of Mando were pretty good. I like the more relaxed pace and vibe of this vs Andor. Still think it was a bit stupid to advance the Mando storyline so much during Boba Fett. My friend was catching up on the Mandolorian, and was really confused between seasons 2 and 3 on how Baby Yoda just suddenly came back with no mention of why or how. The third episode was a bit dull. I appreciate they want to introduce and build up a new villain, but they spent way too long doing so imo. The whole bit on Coruscant was really boring. Episode four looked good again - although my Disney + ran out halfway through the episode, so i don't know how that one ends.

It's such a strange complaint anyway. So what if they took the whole 6 years making this game? What are you accusing the developers of? Do you think they secretly made another game in that time but just aren't going to release it? Maybe they all sat around drinking tea for 5 years, then cranked out some BOTW DLC for the last year and then charged £70 for it.

I think we could possibly even name them...

Oh I know about AoT. But that takes so damn long to come out anyway, i dont mind. Plus i don't mind that one in Japanese, so I won't have to wait for the dub. I didn't realise that about the last few episodes of MHA, but maybe they'll release in time before my month runs out?

It's time for my yearly rant about how shit CrunchyRoll is! Yaaaaaaaaaaay! New season of My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan is out, so i figured it's time to try and watch! I prefer watching MHA with English dubbing, so I checked that it was available, it is was! Decide to pay for one month of CrunchyRoll, but upon doing so, I find out that there is no English option under audio for MHA. That's annoying, i think to my self. I hope i haven't wasted £7. So I have a Google around, and it definitely says that the dubbed version exists, and I should be able to watch it on CrunchyRoll. So I go back into the CrunchyRoll app (which I love, by the way. So responsive. So intuitive.), and search again. Turns out the dubbed version is listed under an entirely different entry? Why?!?! Why isn't it just an audio option, it's the same show! So I select the separate, dubbed version, and press play. Nothing happens. Nothing loads ,not even the player. I try downloading the episode to run offline, which is does, but when I try to play that, nothing happens. That's annoying, i think to my self. I hope i haven't wasted £7. So I have to switch to the browser version of the website, and finally i'm able to watch the show with the audio option i want. Glorious! I'll definitely be re-subscribing at the end of the month, and won't be taking to the high seas instead.

Are you sure those are actually the same members having two conflicting opinions? Or two groups of members who disagree with each other?

Do you guys want to thread rip all this StarWarsCon chat into a different thread? Or even just PM each other? I came in here to read Mando reactions, and can't find them amongst all the Conchat.

The cost of implementing those things come down in time too. It's not like we're expecting 4k graphics made on a NES devkit. I understand that games tend to be more complicated than they used to be, but the tools that they make them with are better.

I didn't realise there was a post-credits scene until I read this, so i just went back and watched it. Does seem a bit pointless that they were using slaves to build those bits, when clearly droids could make them anyway.

It's bizarre that the price of video games is one of the few things that apparently aren't allowed to increase with inflation, and if they do, the publishers have to come up with a load of convoluted excuses as to why they've gone up. I mean, I don't like paying more for things, and would prefer it if everything stayed the same price forever (or even went down!), but I understand that inflation is a thing, so why can't they just say that?

Apparently MOTD is only going to be 20.mins long, because they can't get anyone to commentate on the matches, or talk about them in between, or even interview any of the players. I kind of want to watch it, but at the same time, I'll be boycotting it.

I think it's absolutely hilarious. This could not have gone worse as a PR exercise. Unfortunately, I don't think it actually means anything in the long run. The fact that the heads of the BBC operate with such glaring bias will just get kicked under the rug, and nothing will change. Gary will probably be allowed back next week, and they'll pretend he got a slap on the wrist and carry on. I am happy at how the footballing community all closed rank around Lineker though. They may have their personal rivalries during the season, but as soon as someone starts chatting shit against one of the legends of the game, they all club together to stand with him.
