Finally GOG have started to get some Star Trek games so I couldnt help myself. Really looking forward to them getting more (mainly waiting for Bridge Commander)

Agent Carter has been renewed for a second season!

Looks like Agents of SHIELD has been renewed but the spin off has been shelved.

Its a shame its not my kind of game because I really like the art style.

Got my invite to the GOG Galaxy Beta today, their alternative to Steam. I only tend to buy games from GOG when they arent available on Steam but if this turns out to be any good then I'd be more willing to buy new games through GOG as well.

Read Secret Wars #1 today. Pretty awesome so far and feels suitably epic for the end of their 2 major universes. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Yeah if possible we like to run the original carts for added novelty so last year both myself and @flameboy had our original Sonic 2 carts to play on. Any suggestion is welcome though, I know I'm always looking to expand my retro collection so as long as a game isnt super rare I would probably buy it for the event. Oh and a recommendation to any first timers at this years event. If you do the speed challenge then dont go first! The others learnt from mine and @Goafer mistakes!

A lot of the time those cheers come from fans that the companies have brought in for exactly that purpose. Only good thing about that with Sony was for the past year or two they've actually started telling us that as part of the conference.

Got my invite to the beta today so I'll finally be able to test it out. With my 3 meg connection though I'm not expecting much!

The digital events are ok but I definitely prefer the actual conferences. Makes it feel like much more of an event.

I need to find a new job. My current one is alright but not brilliant (I enjoy the designing side but working in a School when you dont particularly like kids....or teachers.....or parents isnt the best!) and if im going to be able to afford to move out at some point then I need a better paying job.

Should be quite interesting if we can get everyone streaming and then do our speed challenges like last year with Sonic 2

Its possible there is a system update you have to get each time you swap between the two but I'm not sure if thats just because I barely swap that there are actually just normal system updates waiting to be downloaded. Either way though they are always small and downloaded quickly.

Finally got around to finishing the Harley Quinn dlc for Arkham City. It was pretty good but not brilliant. Has got me looking forward to playing Arkham Knight again though, despite not liking the way Robin looks in this universe, I really like how he plays.
