@Wii you could have just created this thread without all the childish dramatics. You would have been able to have the coversation you wanted and been in the right. Now you just look like a pillock.
Does make you wonder then what would actually be the top platform for it. So stupid that digital sales still arent counted, especially where the PC is concerned.
The Last of Us - I loved the setting/story etc and really wanted to carry on with it but I absolutely hated the gameplay to the point where I just gave up and traded it in. Didnt find it fun in the slightest.
Thanks. Its driving me crazy at the moment as im getting to the point where a lot of the weight is coming from ingredients and crafting items that I dont want to get rid of incase I need them later!
Both Vinny and Alex now live in New York so stuff from there has started to be called GBEast (Giant Bomb East coast office) and they have finally got around to starting their own podcast. There will be a new staff member coming at some point to replace Patrick Klepek but they are still working on that, seems like it will happen after E3.
@Hero\-of\-Time are you going to be listening to the Giant Beastcast now that its launched? Im really looking forward to being able to listen to Vinny on a weekly podcast again and apparently Alex had some good points on games journalism this week.

Its always nice to find that the right game can still keep me hooked for hours at a time. Feels like its been quite a while since one kept me going like this.
Oh yeah I'm not saying that a patch isnt needed.
As for there being too many glitches and stuff to begin with. Unfortunately thats just the kind of thing to expect with open world games this vast. Nearly all of them have these troubles and with so many constantly changing variables in the world, they must be a nightmare to test. I think open world games like this are one genre where I am willing to accept that it will be an ongoing job for the devs to get everything working properly.
I just finished listening to that episode myself. While they are right that there are a lot of glitches, not everyone is coming across them. I've been playing for hours and only had one crash. No other problems other than that.
I never really managed to click with Bioshock 1 or 2 but I found Infinite brilliant. I recommend giving it a try. As for Mass Effect, I think 2 is still worth playing if you didnt like 1, its a much better game.
This feels like it will probably just end up as a list of games I dont personally like but here we go -
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time - I tried this at the time and then again with the 3D remake but just couldnt get invested. I think I gave up around the time you grew up this latest time.
Super Mario 64 - I know everyone loves how this controls but I hated it. Thats another one I tried again years later with the DS remake and still didnt like it.
Goldeneye - I blame this on being a PC gamer around the time because I felt like I was playing much better shooters around then with much better controls.
...I'll add more later but I'm about to leave work and I'm not staying here a minute longer than I have to! This wont just be a list full of Nintendo games you all love lol
