Happenstance

Trackmania is a series I think will probably always be best on PC, playing on people's servers with dumb mods and music blaring but I think moving it to consoles will give the community the shot in the arm it needs, it's a bit barren out there at the moment.

Apparently that price is pretty much on par with most moddable controllers out there at the moment.

Its one of those collections where its obviously really good value and I'm sure a lot of people will like it but I just dont have any real love for Rare or any of their games.

Its the same as they did for 360 with the original xbox and it just ended up drying up. I expect the exact same thing to happen here.

I thought it seemed like a good conference for MS fans but lacking in big suprises that could bring people across. Backwards compatibility is always interesting but one of those features that you realise you dont actually need a lot when you have it.

And even Nintendo removed it as their primary control function, that should tell you something. Yes they sold a lot but it was a fad that has since started to die out. Im done with this anyway. I've had conversations with you before and its like talking to a brick wall. I'm very happy that you still enjoy motion controls (and by very happy I mean I couldnt care less)

I am sure there are people who still want motion controls. What im saying though is that there isnt enough to make it worthwhile. There was a pretty hard swing away from motion controlled games and theres a reason for that, a lot of people do not like them. Yes motion controls may make it more like playing actual golf, but whos to say people need that level of realism? Especially while looking like a twat in your living room. I really do get that you love motion controls and want the same experience as the real life game but you need to accept the fact that you are most likely in the minority there.

I said for the rest of us it wasnt a massive step forward because we dont like motion controls, something you seem to be unable to grasp.

I really enjoyed Bethesda's conference and Fallout 4 looks great. Been playing a bit of Fallout Shelter this morning as well which seems like a nice little game.

Following this Shenmue thread on Gaf is brilliant. Its all the usual people moaning thats its been brought up again, people get over excited and people trying to dig out information to prove or disprove it. So far they've found out that the Shenmue.com domain was renewed on the 2nd of June this year and that Gio Corsi who does Sony's #buildingthelist for games people want just started following Yu Suzuki this month.

It's not an issue that they need to sort out, it's just choice they went with. Instead of external hard drives they made it easy to just upgrade your hard drive.

Never really bothered me while I was playing.

Ive bought Tales from the Borderlands so far and I might get the Homeworld Collection, I'll sleep on that one.

Aaaaaand the Steam Summer Sale has started!

Yeah it seems to just be third party sellers that have it at the moment. I got it for around £20 from ShopTo though so I'm willing to wait. Shame it was £39.99 on the PSN or I would have just bought it digitally.
