Im still tempted to buy Ni No Kuni again despite not owning a PS3 anymore just because its £4

I think its always a big issue with Nintendo do these things. It basically splits the userbase if you release "New 3DS" only games which will obviously dig into sales.

Either way though, airing issues was exactly what this thread was for.

I think with the Pokemon discussion it just comes from people trying to have this talk before but Serebii pretty much always gets very stubborn with his opinion on it. Fair enough its his opinion on the direction and I'm not saying for him to stop talking about it but its happened everytime it comes up and tends to derail it. Its not exactly something that needs arguing, its all hypotheticals.

I'd be happy enough with Knack. Its not a game I particularly want to buy but would like to play.

Such a crappy day at work. Im getting really sick of how things work there where people will just give you work that needs doing for tomorrow when you are due to leave in an hour or ones that keep promising to give you the information you need to finish something and you are still waiting a week later. I've got so much stuff I have to finish by the end of the week (none of which is actually my work, just stuff that got shifted onto me because other people didnt want to do it). I cant see myself staying there much longer. I get paid very little to do everyone elses work and im sick of it.

Oh absolutely. I think its just that unfortunately Nintendo are in a bad situation so people have more to complain about these days so these things will pop up. I doubt you will find any of the people complaining shouting down those being positive. Its the defensive ones that cause the issues, not the positive ones.

I think sports games are a whole different thing but I get what you mean. I havent bought a COD game for quite a while as I was feeling a similar fatigue, despite them having a much less rigid formula than Pokemon.

Not if its going to constantly derail topics and cause arguments. You just have to look at Ronnie and the voice chat stuff for that. He was complaining about people talking about that so much that he started bringing it up elsewhere when it wasn't even being talked about.

I've only managed to complete two Pokemon games, Blue and Sapphire. I played all of the others apart from X & Y and the latest remakes but just got bored everytime. Its funny though, despite my complaints that it feels the same everytime, my whole reason for buying the other games was trying to recapture the enjoyment I originally had with Blue and then again with Sapphire.

Im gonna go back to my idea from a few years ago. Nintendo should suprise everyone and just release the SNES 2. Totally remove themselves from the current console scene. Whatever the NX turns out to be, I very much doubt I'll be buying it. If they released the SNES 2 I would totally buy that! :p

Ok so here's my pitch for a new home console Pokemon game. They go full on reboot and make it a sexy anime style game with lots of cleavage and blood during the fights. The fate of the universe is at stake and you have to either battle or seduce your way past all the other Pokemon trainers, gather up all the badges so you can fight the "Elite Ones". A group of bikini wearing Pokemon masters who hold the power to stop "The Hand of Poke-God" from un-making the universe.

I dont know, its not a uncommon argument. Obviously I'm not saying its exactly the same but I certainly stopped playing the series because I felt like I was playing the same games over and over again.

While I do actually agree with this, I think Nintendo will be launching the NX at the wrong time. The majority of gamers will be pretty established in their choices by then and have their gaming groups that they will want to play online with. Im sure there could be some that move over but these kind of big shifts happen at the start of generations.

I seem to get to this point every few months but with a break in most big game releases now until September I'm once again tempted to buy another PS3 so I can go back to all those PS+ titles I have along with getting myself some of the remaining PS3 titles I missed after my console died.

My curiosity got the better of me and I preordered the Steam controller
