Thats basically what we do but the school is still open today. The problem is that yesterday a message was sent out saying that as the forecast was turning bad that afternoon, they would have the option to pick the kids up early if they felt they needed to so they are all expecting the same thing today but no decision has been made.

I need to restart Horizon at some point, I only got about an hour in the first time I started it. Unfortunately I'm in one of my gaming ruts at the moment so haven't really touched much other than easy to play games while watching tv like Spelunky or FTL.

Yep, I've already got another company coming in to demo us their service. The school is handling this entire day pretty badly though to be honest. I was just in the school office and multiple kids were coming down to ring home to be picked up early because supposedly their teachers had said it was ok despite no official word one way or the other having been said.

Having a nightmare at work this morning. The school's emergency contact system has managed to lose multiple families from their list and of course with all this snow its the worst possible time and this is all after they messed up the database so phone numbers and email addresses weren't associated with the correct parent. No way we will be staying with them after this.

April seems like a very suspect month. Perhaps they wanted it in their next fiscal year?

Some updates on my latest nerdy prints. I still really need practice with my painting but its slowly getting there. Annoyingly the Tricorder kept having issues with the hinge breaking. This photo was from my 3rd attempt and I just gave up after that. The Mass Effect pistol still has some work that needs doing to it but thats mostly stencil stuff so I need to create those later.

Well I hope you manage to get it sorted. It really sucks having something like this not work properly. I wish I could help more but to be honest I think I've just been really lucky with mine not to have these kind of issues (although the motor does already sound like its dying when I start the printer up).

Are you just doing the paper method for bed leveling?

I haven't but I did just buy Thumper to finally play properly on PSVR.

Dazzybee I’m trying to figure out the best way to say this without seeming insulting but imo a lot of issues when it comes to you can be from your aggressive and dismissive style of posting. I think it’s happened in this thread. I understood a lot of your points but with the way you were putting things it just causes problems that don’t need to be there. It’s not the first time I’ve noticed it and I’m sure I’ve seen others mention it. To me, you were the problem here not Rummy and I think it is something that could be easily rectified.

Especially in this place. It’s got better lately but while some of it is just to do with Nintendo doing better, I think some is through the effort of people like Rummy who put a lot of time into trying to sort out the issues this place has had over the years.

Rummy stepping down would be a massive mistake, a lot of the time it feels like he is the only one who makes an effort on this forum and if he did after calls from people who I really do think are the problems with this place then I doubt I’d stick around to see what it looked like afterwards. Edit: Re-Reading this post obviously I sound over dramatic but I really don’t want to see rash decisions made.

From what I’ve read a lot of the planned Klingon stuff was lessened when Brian Fuller left as showrunner so it’s possible that the Tyler stuff would have been a lot more fleshed out in the original plan. Personally I’m hoping season 2 has a lot less Klingons in it as they are still the worst part for me. Also, while I don’t really want to see him, it might be cool to get a mention of the USS Farragut as that is the ship Kirk should currently be serving on.

The Tyler arc was a bit weird but it’s not the first time we’ve seen a Klingon turned into a human in Trek. We know from Trouble With Tribbles that it carries on happening in the future.

Every few years I load up the PC version as I think there are still servers up for it. It's still fun but feels a lot slower than I remember it being back in the day lol.

Yeah, I really liked the Dreamcast and I'm sure I've read it's online service was an influence on Xbox Live. Such a shame Sega's console run had to end the way it did. I still laugh though when Jeff Gerstmann tells the story about how Sega broke the news. There had been rumblings for weeks so they got a load of journalists on a conference call to announce it but Jeff was ill so he was basically in the bathroom with it on speaker phone and they call out his name to ask questions.

I think mine was probably Phantasy Star Online. I enjoyed Burnout Paradise when it first came out but I tried going back to the PC version a few years ago and just found it wasn't clicking with me. I may get this if I see it on sale but definitely not straight away.

I think my problem there would be a similar issue the Wii had. You don't want the Switch getting known as the console that gets the watered down ports of games.
