Does anyone else have issues posting images? I think it usually happens when I’m on my iPad but the image shows up in the preview so the forum is accepting the link but then when you post it disappears.

We’ll all be talking about Sega’s new console in a few weeks anyway and not giving a damn about the rest. (I will hammer this joke into the ground until it becomes true!)

I think even if there was a Sony show it would have been a limited showing. While Sony are better than most at supporting their consoles during the transition to a new console we’d still not have had much to see yet. Between them working on the PS5 and more and more and more companies moving away from E3 as the best way to get their news out this seems like a good time to step back from the show. I understand it as a sign of the times but just for the personal enjoyment I get from E3 it’s a shame. I love all the conferences, announcements, watching sites like Giant Bomb talk over stuff and their after hours interviews. If E3 continues to struggle over the next few years then in hope something manages to replace it.

I always find Microsoft’s conferences weird. Before them they always announce these numbers for games being shown and while I’m sure they must tally up, it either doesn’t feel like they showed that many or they putting spin on those numbers by showing things in sizzle reels etc. No matter how many developers they acquire I just have zero enthusiasm for Xbox these days. First the Xbox One itself soured me on their hardware/OS and then the games just felt more bland and samey.

Don’t remember the story at all but I think I liked that Ghostbusters game. Haven’t played it since it’s original launch so I might get the remastered version.

The best part of E3 this year should be Sega taking Sony's conference slot to announce their new console. They'll have to come up with a new name right? No way they'll go with Dreamcast 2. Too much history behind that.

Two soundtracks I've loved after seeing the movies lately so had to order them.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters This just felt like a complete love letter to old school Godzilla fans and I loved it. Some amazing visuals and sound design as well. I can't wait to buy the soundtrack. The cgi was a bit of a mixed bag unfortunately. Godzilla and Ghidorah looked great but some of the other monsters or uses of cgi seemed a bit cheaper which was a shame. The human sections were mostly ok, few iffy reasons for stuff but nothing that made me enjoy it less.

It’s really put me in the mood to watch some more wrestling today. Might put Wrestle Kingdom 10 on.

Apparently China have pulled all showings of Endgame from their cinemas. General theory is that it was catching up to their own top grossing movies of the year and they didn’t want a US movie to overtake them. This will most likely affect Endgame’s chances of overtaking Avatar as well which is a shame.

I’m still hopeful Jericho will do ok there. He’s had some great matches the past few years in New Japan where he’s adopted a much more violent persona to make up for his age, hopefully he can find a good balance between that and his older style which he obviously still wants to do but can’t keep up for long.

Finally finished watching all of Double or Nothing. I thought it was a great show. I’m looking forward to seeing more of all these wrestlers (and learning a lot of their names!). Surprised to say that I think Cody v Dustin was the match of the night. I’m definitely happy to just drop WWE now properly and stick with AEW & NJPW. Looking forward to October to see what AEW does with a weekly show.

I was tempted by Popplio after Giant Bomb’s obsession with it but with having 2 new actual cats recently I felt like I couldn’t betray them lol. Just leaving the first island anyway.

Still rocking some pretty early caught Pokemon so at the moment it’s: Trumbeak, Torracat, Magnemite, Yungoos, Wingull and Slowpoke.
