Glad to hear its nothing pandemic related.

One of those things where if he’s just left to take a break from everything then I get it, I do that from time to time myself but disappearing in the middle of a pandemic leaves us all a bit worried.

I asked this in the Retro thread as well. Nobody had heard from him there either but said he sometimes liked to take a break so we’re just hoping it was that.

I guess another question is what’s your take on inviting banned members back? Obviously not the ones that went nuclear and lost it but I feel like there were a few popular ones over the years that got banned for dumb stuff on their part who might be worth messaging as well. ....oh and dynastygal, we should definitely invite her back.

I try audiobooks every now and again, the latest being The Witcher series but I always find that I end up dozing off if I'm not doing something else at the same time, but if I'm doing something else at the same time then I don't pay enough attention to the book.

I never mind games being posted in the Nintendo section, I just wish that more people bothered to actually list the other platforms the game appear on like we do in this section. It happens sometimes but regularly I miss that something is actually available on something other than the Switch.

Oh I also meant to ask, do any of you use Strava? I’m part of the ResetEra cycling club on there but it’s just not as fun seeing people’s stats that you don’t really know.

Was nice to get back on the bike this morning. After trying to let my legs recover a bit and then all the rain we’ve had this week I haven’t really had a chance to ride.

Played Tabletop Simulator with @Goafer last night and was really impressed with it. We spent most of the time messing around with the simpler games but we are planning on trying something a bit more complicated when we understand how everything works a bit better.

I love reading but I definitely have to be in the right mood for it. I can fly through books or take months to finish just one. At the moment I’m alternating between the Star Trek extended universe stuff and reading wrestling books. I still pick up all the kindle deals though so my library is packed at the moment with books to read next. The one thing I do love though is how easy it is these days to just carry on reading something wherever you are. If I’ve been reading on my kindle at home then I can just pick up where I left off on the kindle app on my phone during lunch at work for example.

This is a tough one for me, I just don’t play scary games. Gonna have to have a think about it.

After my jaunt down memory lane today (no I wasn't hacked, just bored and didn't see my warning to stop) it yet again made me realise how many members we used to have that were so active for so many years and then disappeared so I thought I'd start this thread and see if anyone is still in contact with lapsed members. Maybe they'd be interested in coming back for a chat every now and again or if not, just hearing how they're doing.

So did any of us end up getting the virus at all (that you know of anyway)?

I need to see it compared to the Neo Geo Mini to get some size perspective.
