Sega is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year with another retro console, and it looks like it might be the tiniest yet. The Game Gear Micro is a revival of Sega’s 8-bit handheld system that tried (and failed) to overcome Nintendo’s Game Boy. More news is set to drop later today via Japanese gaming news outlet Famitsu. The promo shots show that the system will unsurprisingly run at least one of the (pretty good!) Game Gear Sonic the Hedgehog titles. An image initially hidden in the Game Gear Micro landing page also revealed that the system will come in four colors — black, blue, yellow, and red — and be released in Japan on October 6th this year for 4,980 yen, or about $46.

Had to get a refund of my C&C Remaster preorder from Greenmangaming as they were originally offering Steam keys but they emailed today to say they've got Origin ones instead. No way I'm using Origin again after the mess over the last few weeks. Bloody thing kept launching games while I was in the middle of playing stuff.

There are rumours that nobody has ever seen it, not even Jackie. It just appeared in his movie library one day and nobody knows where it came from.

I don’t see my routine changing much. I’m still furloughed so not going to work and wasn’t planning on going out to meet people yet. Most I’ll do is go sit in my sisters garden mid-June for her birthday. I’ll be installing the app when it’s available. To be honest I think the need for it trumps (god that word is ruined) any worry I might have had over privacy.

I managed to join Ship 02 no problem earlier after the game finally finished downloading. No lag in the lobby for me yet but it is early morning in the US. I’ve also heard people saying it’s a server side issue. I can’t remember if that was the same prologue mission I did originally when I tried the game years ago with the English patch but it was nice to play anyway. Felt like slipping back into PSO immediately.

I understand breakable tools if you have something to work towards but if gold tools also break then that just sucks. I haven’t actually played in a few days and am finding less and less enthusiasm to go back.

I’ll try and go for ship 02 as well then. Hopefully @Goafer hasn’t had a chance to pick one yet.
