  1. Fox needs to die. It'll be great if they do bring back Futurama, but they shouldn't have cancelled it in the first place the cunts.
  2. Exactly what I said.
  3. I don't know about conversion rates, but here it lauch price it $30 instead of the usual $50.
  4. As opposed to making a new thread about this, I'll just epicly bump all hell out of this one I bought this last night, would have posted impressions earlier, but the whole site being down stopped that. So I ended up posting elsewhere and will be copy/pasting it. Laziness ftw!(at least I didn't just post a link and tell you to do it yourself) Those were initial impressions though. I've now amassed 4 hours into the game, and can enlighten on a few things. As you level up and bring up your skill stat, your attacks become smoother and longer chains. Like your skill is going up D: who'dathunkit. Controls....they aren't just mindless waggly, they can be if you want, but if you want to be good at the game and get high ranks, you have to slow down and time your remote swings, and evade at the opportune moment to chain even more together. Some enemies even require you to not just go crazy and slow down and preform a certain technique. Outside of a very few certain attacks, nothing is mapped to specific actions, and those that are work well (Horizontal Swing, Thrust, Verticle Swing up) Most special types of attack depend on what you swing and the direction of the control stick rather than the direction of the swing. Like a kick with Dual Sword out is lock on, back up(control stick down) and nunchuk. You gain XP for every mode but practice, and each of the four characters have separate XP for killing stuff. 2 Characters are unlocked at the beginning while the other 2 need to be unlocked. Each character has a 8 chapter story mode, and 5 difficulties, 3 of which need to be unlocked by beating the previous. Each girl has 40 "quests" they can unlock, quests are like achievements...in the 360 version they are actually. These quests are pretty much unknown unless you check a walkthrough, and in order to unlock all the outfits you need to do all the quests. (some are kill "X" zombies, others are don't get hit. They're pretty varied.) I still haven't done co-op, but I think it'll be quite fun slaying with a buddy. It's late, my thoughts are jumbled so I'm stopping here, but I'll be happy to answer any questions. Oh, and is anyone else here even marginally interested?
  5. Steam may be DRM, but it is bar none the best DRM I've ever had to work with. I love Steam truth be told.
  6. I think they're still down for me. All day long I haven't been able to get on, then I decide to use a Proxy and it worked.
  7. I'm not entirely sure what you want, just a site where you can find sure fire info on building a PC? I think your best bet would be to browse through different hardware sites and read through recent reviews and perhaps look at their builds. Particularly the builds they do at certain price points, like a $500, $1000, $1500 rig. After that, in my experience information just comes from talking to other people who have already learned it. That and a few hours of Wikipedia. Check out Hardocp, Toms Hardware, and AnandTech
  8. OOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWW I bit something wrong last night, and now I have a toothache....still. It kept me up half the night, and I'm not sure how well I can eat things. It makes that whole side of my face ache, my jawline and temple. OW.
  9. Could it be the settings in the Wii's Firmware?
  10. Only thing that comes to mind is an Aside, but that's definitely wrong.
  11. You guys outta watch Dogma, a Kevin Smith Classic.
  12. I absorb my food through my skin, sort of like Osmosis.

    Killzone 2

Are all Difficulties unlocked from the beginning or do you have to unlock harder settings?
  14. Ahhh the wonders of Freedom....so long as it doesn't offend
  15. Hardly, everyone is different, offensive to one means exactly diddly to another. It's like the regional differences between the US and UK for Fanny and Spastic.

    Killzone 2

Actually, CoD has been that way since the beginning of the series. Point is though, a veteran playthrough was long because of those broke ass mechanics. Veteran would be plenty easy without infinite respawns....except MHC, just because of the time limit on Veteran.

    Killzone 2

Not on Veteran it wasn't. Of course that's just because death is inevitable. :/
  18. Illusionary is quite right, they just get knocked out, after 3 turns they die, or if an enemy touches them. Now Fire Emblem....Dead is Dead, and there isn't a never-ending supply of recruits. Besides, in VC even if someone dies, no biggie, all recruits are going to be at the same level, just a different personality.
  19. Rorschach. Fits the markings on the head/face quite well I'd say.
  20. You worship undetonated old French land mines?
  21. Doom 3 xbox actually lost alot of texture detail in that bump mapping wasn't exactly possible(Or at least, they didn't do it, since Riddick may have). The PC version still holds up quite well today (Except lighting) but the xbox version doesn't.
  22. Tropic Thunder. It was alright, nothing special, but not bad at all.
