I was offered beta keys from some other people that signed up and got keys. But I didn't really feel like accepting.

Well sleeping with you just gets a good night in bed, to get promotions you have to sleep with both you and Jordan....simultaneously.
-
You obviously slept with Jordan and Ashley.... Grats on the promotion.

I picked up the Enhanced Edition at release. It is a great game, I even managed to convince a few peeps to pick it up also. If you don't do PCs, I recommend getting this, assuming it truly is as they say not a port. They say just the story is being ported, but that makes the a little odd. Since Geralt is the White Wolf, the subtitle hints at a bit of prequel.

In a web browser. Tools>Clear Private Data (FF and Opera. Delete Browsing History IE) Select Cookies. That's the quickest way to clean up those trackers rather than scanning for them. The occasional scan never hurts. Although, when you do it that way it clears all of them, meaning if a forum or site auto-logs you in that data is lost and you have to manually log in.

United States. Shopto isn't an option, but thanks anyway.

US mate, R2 is still full price here. I knew KZ2 isn't out, but was just looking for early impressions.

Oh, a system restore may work, but in my experience they never have.

Avast AVG Spybot Search and Destroy Registy Cleaner (requires some knowledge, but basically if you don't know what it is don't delete it) Kaspersky Those are decent anti-spyware and anti-virus programs. Most can remove iirc. Others detect, oh and they may conflict with each other so be careful aobut having too many. Oh, and here is a list of what not to use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fake_anti-spyware_programs#Partial_list_of_rogue_software

So, can I get opinions from people who played both R2 and KZ2? My brother-in-law has a PS3. Due to also having a family he has budget and time constraints that make getting both so near each other a dumb idea. He doesn't really know which to get though, he's played R2 at a friends and enjoyed it, and he's checked out KZ2 some and his friends will probably get it too. tl:dr? R2 or KZ2, opinions from players of both plz.

Well then, if that's the case they should go MS route and put it too the devs. Sony said they don't want to focus on it well fine, but they could tell the devs "Hey, you guys make a patch that lets your game work via software, and we'll release it and publicize it." That would put them back on even ground with MS (strictly speaking on the BC front) They were leaps and bounds past MS, and now....well they aren't. Unless you have a mass of PS1 titles to play.
-
It may have specific hardware though, idk. Compared to a PCs today, a PS2/Xbox is pretty modest, but you still can't emulate them very well is all I'm saying. It takes alot of resources that the console didn't even have in the first place. Of course the PS3 has the cell, iirc most of the emulation problems arise from processor requirements.
-
I was under the impression though that, the original models (NA, JAP) had hardware BC. They then removed that and went to a form of emulation BC. What I had heard was that this emulation still had some basic PS2 functions. Besides, full emulation without any true hardware is extremely taxing. Which is why PCs can't emulate a console until it's out of commission. I suppose impossible isn't the right word though, more of improbable and hard.

Wouldn't that be impossible though since they (stupidly, imo) removed all PS2 BC?

I'd say you should have asked for a prescription, but then it could get real awkward if the doc wrote down his number.

If the competition made an OS it would almost certainly be Linux based, which would make it no different then the many other Linux based OS's really. Besides that, I'm very doubtful a third major player could break into the market already dominated by Windows and fought for by Apple.
