  1. I wouldn't call them lesser known either, but the radio hardly plays them. I do plenty of driving and switch between stations alot, and hear them maybe once a week, while on the other hand most of the stations seem to have decided to devote a certain time of every night to play Metallica I just remembered though, an instant sell for me would be a Pink Floyd themed game. Especially if they throw in some of the extra long songs like Shine on you crazy diamond, there are 9 parts to that song on the CD it's broken up into 2 tracks totaling over 20 minutes long. That would be an epic song to play. I like some Pearl Jam, but not enough to care for this announcement.
  2. I'd like some lesser known/radio played stuff. NIN, Audioslave, The White Strips(Seven Nation Army in particular) RHCP.
  3. Why are you using the handbreak? That should be used for parking and drifting. With varying degrees of legality. Anywho, somehow a bird got into my house this morning, my cat managed to catch it twice. The first time he had it by the wing, and I grabbed him and told him to drop it, which he did, but I wasn't ready to grab it and toss it out yet. I grabbed a towel, as the bird was flying from room to room with my cat after, both of them crashing into walls, then it flew under a bed and my cat got it again by the body. I told him to bring it to me which he more or less did but he was growling. I don't know who he was growling at because he dropped the bird for me pretty easily (he did give it a squeeze though). I took it outside and set it down unsure of it being alive or dead, but I saw it was breathing....heavily basically panting. A few minutes later it flew away. My cat then stayed in that particular bedroom meowing trying to get his bird back.
  4. So I've heard, I've only ever played a scant bit of 3 though. If 4 is like 3 though, I think I'd rather AC. Hopefully though, with the announcement of Theif 4 perhaps Edios will decide to give a certain other franchise a much needed sequel. I want my Legacy of Kain dammit.
  5. No no no, I saw that. I can't follow your logic though, I want an explanation as to how you came up with that. What movie did you think I was thinking of? @d prodigy, I know it but I'll let someone else have a go.
  6. Annnnd the winrar is D_prOdigy! Come on down and see what you've won. A new converti- wait no, you just get to ask a question now.
  7. Now now, we don't know yet if Theif 4 will be more like Theif 3 or Theif 1/2 or it may be like a shiny dog turd.
  8. Nope not Retro Link. Look at avatars, and think movie quotes. Mind you it's not an exact quote.
  9. I laughed heavily at my (semi-drunk) friend literally roffling. What was sad is that my other friend was on the floor with chills and telling us how he hates us and making fun of us but mostly the other guy on the floor who just found it hilarious to be made fun of by an inebriate. Which is was.
  10. Lucky Number Slevin Second viewing, I quite like this film very muchly. I am having fun writing convoluted sentences.
  11. You don't wins.
  12. Nope all wrong.
  13. Sorry guys, I've been at work for the last 12 hours and internetless. I'll come up with a question right now I suppose. Which member would bet you they can lift a hand cannon? This is either too easy or oddly hard, but I don't know yet. I won't be on for quite a while again though. So I may PM the answer to someone.
  14. Eenuh ninja posted so I never knew it was my turn, sorry. No biggie that you posted though. After much much digging, I found the answer to be Motion2000. I wasn't around back then, so I don't know what it was, but it sounds....interesting from the resounding effect it had on everyone. Interestingly I found the answer in the old Which Member thread(also made by Flink)
  15. Exactly, I fully agree with this post. I'll also make mention that I know what skeletons you're talking about. I took a picture of them at one point and I believe even posted it in the Fallout 3 thread. IIRC they were in a house at the one town with mines all through the streets and off in a wrecked building a sniper shoots at you. Also, nice to meet someone else who has played the originals(I think, your post makes it sound like you have).
  16. Bit of both really.
  17. Got a back catalog of games? Summer is a good time to work on those while releases slow down. Water parks are fun, but beware I've friends that work at one and the horror stories are enough to turn you off of them. Kids are nasty. Bike to the next town/city over. That'll be a good for a laugh/heart attack. Learn to juggle?
  18. How familiar are you with the old ones though? Comparatively it's not as good in terms of content amount of content and story. I understand the reasons for my complaints though, like in the previous ones a character with low intelligence would say relatively stupid things. They wouldn't use complete sentences and often times be hard to understand. A low intelligence character in Fallout 3 would have the same dialogue choices other than the rare occasion the skill was used in conversation. If the dialogue was different though, they couldn't reuse the same response for 'How are you' if it was asked as 'How you is' it would seem lazy for characters to not respond in some way to speech impediments. I can see the reason for this though, everything is voice acted and having multiple conversation branches is quite a lot already, add in new branches varying on intelligence that becomes a monumental amount of dialogue. As for content, well the originals had multiple cities large like Rivet City and small like Megaton. Fallout 3 has Rivet City, the Museum, The Citadel, Megaton(possibly :p), That big hotel place, Bigtown, Little Lamplight, Paradise Falls, and that group that moved from the wastes to the Lincoln Memorial. Then there are various other places(and other bigs ones I'm sure I missed) spread out everywhere. Fallout 3 probably has more locations, but they all feel so small with little to do, and few quest givers each. The originals had many large locations and all of them had so much to do. New Reno for instance was divided up into 4 sections each controlled by a separate "Family" you can help any one family to control the whole town and neighboring towns(by post game happenings) or you could play them against each other and rise to the top of one of them or kill them all and leave the town practically empty. There was also two side stories out of reno, one was either stopping/helping the manufacturing of Jet, and the other led you to a military base full of robots. They just felt like they had so much more, but once again similar to voice acting, the wonders of today are the downfall of these things. Fallout 3 is in a much smaller game world than the first ones, they had an overview of the world map that just allowed you to go from place to place without a map like that the world would be too large to completely render in the way of Fallout 3. In a way it may actually be larger, but it doesn't feel like it.
  19. This is ReZ though, no one fully understands the inner workings of his mind. It's also why all I said was blasphemy rather than go into why. It would leave it open for me to pass my own comment off as a 'I knew the whole time' kinda thing.
  20. >_> <_< >_> All games should have been better. Ok, in seriousness. Fallout 3, I love it and it's a great mix of old and new but there are some things that I'd like to have been different. No More Heroes, like FO3, I love it but it could have used a bit more substance. Metal Gear Solid 4, it was a backwards step from what MGS3 achieved but still 20 steps above MGS2. May just be my preference rather than not as good as it should have been. Call of Duty series, needs real challenge rather than endless enemies and instant headshots. Skies of Arcadia, the random encounter rate is off the charts high.
  21. I did, but just putting 'lol' doesn't really make his stance clear. He could lolling at how bad he finds the movie to be or at acting like the movie was bad. So for now my comment still stands.
  22. Timesplitters 2 was suppose to have a fleshed out single player? That's news to me, I was under the impression that Multiplayer was the only reason for the game. It's like UT but less serious.
