  1. On the graphics front of Rayman vs NSMB you cite the age of the game and expect the DS to be loads beyond. The DS is approximately the power of the N64 which is of the same generation of what Rayman was released on. It's also beautiful hand drawn sprites with a pseudo 3D models and wonderful colorful artstyle (like DKC) vs a game that is adhering to a already set artstyle and 3D models. I agree that NSMB should have could have looked better but it seems to me that they were focused on keeping to the art of the old 2D games. The Wii version is a lazy ass port of the DS version so yea it looks like ass. As for gameplay....I've never played A rayman title other than a demo for number 2 on DC, but I did just watch the first level of the first game, and it looked terribly unfun. The uploader even claimed the level to be so memorable.... That's just my uneducated opinion though.
  2. How nice of you to call nearly all the forum goers peons and reprobates. This thread might have made more sense if you'd just created a News Thread like people suggested at the original incident that way they would have went straight in here (maybe) rather than threads being made and you having to combine them. But whatevs. Also, is EEVIL right? Are we going to combine all the B-Day threads into one giant ass kissing festival?
  3. Read the whole thing, still don't like the game.
  4. Not necessarily better but faster for sure.
  5. It was a legitimate question on my end, no need to go quoting the wiki. I really didn't know it had that name elsewhere. Honestly it fits the series more than Army of Darkness.
  6. The Medievil Dead?! Is that the name or your way of describing? There is Evil Dead. Evil Dead 2 which is practically interchangeable with the first then Army of Darkness. All are great. Army of Darknes drops the guise of horror and is basically just comedy.
  7. I still need to see this.
  8. Obviously a series will include the best, but saying the series is overrated when it isn't is wrong. Saying that those best games are overrated is (wrong IMO) your opinion. As a series, nearly anyone will tell you it's in the pooper. If you think in the pooper is still overrated for the series you must hate them with such a passion that you sacrifice the diskc/cartridges to appease the video game gods.
  9. Actually, most anyone will tell you that the Mana series is basically average and below average crap ever since Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3(SoM Japan only sequel). The operative word is Series, as a series Mana should just die, but as just SoM (I can't speak on SD3) well....you can have your own opinion on that one, but I and a fair few others love it. I wouldn't say it's the best of anything except maybe co-op.
  10. Only about half, but still true.
  11. Fucking Americans is all I'm going to say.
  12. I wish I had a 4870x2...
  13. 4770's aren't available. In fact I haven't seen them in stock since release on online websites like newegg.
  14. Most games right now will run with the 4870x2 fine. Some scale better than others, but other than a scant few I don't think any of them don't run whatsoever. going for 2 4870x2's however is a much bigger risk as plenty of games do not support that.
  15. It's an excellent system, but I would recommend either getting a less powerful GPU (like a single GPU) or step up the Power supply to at least 700W. It's likely the 600W would be fine and have no problems at all, but when it comes to the PSU it's better to be a little cautious with them. A bad PSU under powering stuff can ruin components. The only other thing is it's likely you could order these parts and build yourself for cheaper. I'm not very adept with UK prices so I'm not sure and the online sites always give me a headache. You could also likely go much cheaper if you go for an AMD build using AM3 instead of Core i7. You really wont be able to see the difference in framerates. either way you could play any game at max other than Crysis, and crysis depends on the resolution. I made an AMD system on that site, but they don't even offer DDR3 RAM for any AMD builds so screw that. DDR2 would still get good performance but it's another upgrade down the line. It is cheaper though and would perform just as well.
  16. They're only to episode 10 part 2. Well their episode 10 that is, they've finished goku vs vegeta.
  17. I prefer DBZ abridged.
  18. I downloaded it a while back cause a buddy wanted me to play it with him I never bothered to start playing it though... Those aren't your own screen shots are they? Cause if so lvl200 default is a little much.
  19. I plan on getting it Day 1 if I can. At the very least the first week budget permitting. Also, Ghost Squad was an arcade port iirc.
  20. Well, consider the fact that this is a sequel to a game made in 2000 on the N64. The first game was also on rails, which is the difference between all the fuss about Dead Space and RE on Wii.
  21. Well...I can't find an option like that so my last suggestion is update to the latest version (10.1 iirc) or uninstall and do a fresh install of it.
  22. Sony seems to employ more technology to get the same results as the Wiimote with Motion+. What I saw in the tech demos of Sony's was basically the same as what I've seen in Wii Sports Resort. The downside is that Sony seems to be requiring you to need the EyeToy. I think the orbs on the wands are essentially the IR of the Wiimote to allow the eyetoy to track them easier. I think it's a combination of Motion(accelerometers) and Motion Tracking(The eyetoy seeing what you do, similar to Natal). At the moment it seems to me that the Wiimote with Motion plus is better as with (seemingly) less technology. That isn't to say though that sony is any worse, I just haven't seen anything yet. I actually thing the possibilities are higher with the PS3.
  23. I think I may have a solution for you. One of the things about Opera is they want the browser to be independent of using both keyboard and mouse. You can effectively browse with just one or the other. This leads to many many keyboard commands and mouse commands too,=. http://help.opera.com/Windows/10.00/en/keyboard.html Scroll down just a little and you'll see system keys. One is crtl-s which is nearly always save, I'm guessing you may have changed it somehow and it's a key you hit often...maybe. If not I'm out of ideas for the moment. Here's an image for reference as to where to find the shortcut to check/change it.
  24. The problem isn't that he's using Opera. >.> Frankly I'm not sure what the problem is though. What do you mean by "Tries to save the page"? Save the page like a bookmark? Or do you mean tries to save the page onto your PC in a Web Archive format? Either way I didn't see anything in preferences for opera and I've never experienced something similar myself.
