I feel like I've totally lost focus at the gym now. Am I cutting, am I bulking? I don't really want to bulk because I really want to get to as low bf% as possible before I start slow bulking for the long haul. I think I'm cutting but I haven't really seen much difference in the past few months but it might just be that it's because I see myself every day. My bench is going up. Did two sets of five reps at 110kg. So that's good. Realised I was not hitting a certain part of my back like I thought I was which means I've developed an imbalance which I'm now fixing. I think that has thrown me off a little. Basically, I'm not really sure what to do.

Nikkei: Nintendo to stop producing Wii U consoles this year
Daft replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This is definitely a case of being caught between a rock and a hard place. I'm sure it's true but does it really matter? The Wii U has run its course and while it didn't succeed in any conventional manner, it carved out its own little eco-system and audience. I think it's better for everyone that Nintendo make a swift as possible a switch to the NX, there's no point in throwing more good money after bad if they don't need to. -
Well I said I'd rather be optimistic than cynical. No one involved in this gave me any reason to doubt it except Snyder and even he's shown an ability to make a good film with a good script – I think his films are only ever as good as his scripts; Dawn of the Dead, 300 and Watchmen are films that I enjoy a lot. I think that maybe superheroes just don't work on film; when they do, it's never without the stink of apologism. I was hoping BvS might buck that trend – Watchmen hinted towards it – but it either hasn't or it's not being allowed to stand on its own terms. My suspicion is that is both, that it's not being allowed to stand on its own terms ("a few jokes wouldn't have gone amiss" coming from the Empire review) and that it's also just not that great.

I based most of my hope on a good writer.

Sounds like the dream of a good and serious take on superheroes in film is dead on arrival. Colour me disappointed. And the moral of the story is never dream, kids.

The game was a year late and still a mess at launch. I wouldn't say it was that surprising. I do wonder what it means for the PSVR version.

Solaris I find it utterly stunning; it both looks and sounds beautiful. It reminds me just how rare it really is to know somebody. Oblivion Thought it was an okay movie at first. A few more watches and started to love it; the last 35-minutes is such a fantastic sequence. Tron Legacy Same director as Oblivion. This is a deceptively well-crafted film. It's downright fucking elegant. My only issue with it is Garrett Hedlund, who doesn't have anywhere near the acting chops needed to pull enough emotion out of the script. And againt, the last 30-minutes is wonderfully put together. The Prestige Nolan's best film along with The Dark Knight. I love a good tragic film and this is a film where everybody loses a part of themselves. A Place Beyond the Pines This film didn't do much for me at first. I completely forgot about it but weirdly the urge to watch it crept up on me again real slowly. It's mesmerising to me now. It felt a little Steinbeckian. It Follows This film has buckets of tension. The soundtrack by Disasterpiece is superb. The grading is on point. It does become a little silly towards the end but just because it isn't perfect doesn't take much away from it in my eyes. Sicario Just everything I ever needed from a film. Roger Deakins deserved an Oscar hor the cinematography. Jóhann Jóhannsson's score crushed it; amazingly tense. Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro are brilliant. Urrrgh, this is the film you go into a cinema hoping to see. Brilliant.

The soundtrack is now out, you can listen to it on Spotify. Also, the New York premiere was last night, the review embargo ends tomorrow 10pm our time. Some initial rumblings have emerged. Grace Randolf is quite quick to point out flaws in pretty much everything so this is a good sign that it isn't awful. [tweet]711719847298768898[/tweet] Also, a couple photos from the premiere. I like this picture; Deadshot and Supes. [tweet]711672083013619712[/tweet] Frank Miller

I don't really think the first numbers are going to be particularly interesting. I reckon it's a given it will have a strong launch, it's really the weeks and months after that will be of real interest.

Anyone up for Trials this weekend?
-
Sony shouldn't have given Tearaway the go ahead the first time, let alone TWICE. Seriously, what a rip, we got two great games because of their stupid decision. At least we only got two Gravity Rush games, too. Those non-FPS games, seriously, what do they think they're playing at? And the Puppeteer, no thanks. Should have been canned from the concept. Sickening.

You're clearly all wrong for liking this since one site gave it an above average review score. I'm so embarrassed for you all.
-
Probably because that was genuinely a bad trailer.

You can look behind you, it just means that you ned to be in the camera's view. The headset has little tracking bits on the back of it,

@Agent Gibbs There's a second batch up on Amazon, I think.
-
I imagine, like the PS4, as we get closer to launch the allocation for each retailer will continue to grow so I wouldn't be too worried.

Aaaaand they're gone. [TWEET]710060518141202432[/TWEET]

Pre-orders are up on Amazon. I just got mine.

I have never liked a live-action rendition of Lex – save Smallville's strangely enough – but I can't wait to see Jesse's portrayal.
-
I'll make sure to be clear I was making an obvious pun next time.
-
....Urrrm, thanks for your blessing?
-
Fuck yisss, already got a camera. I'm going to preorder this baby tomorrow. £350 is less than my TV cost so the price is perfect in my eyes.
-
Well I'm super excited so I can be excited for everyone. Here's a kool Korean trailer for the film.
