This is neat, thought it was worth posting.

So, anyone up for PoE tonight?

It's really weird that people thing WB can be SO reactionary. First an R-rated version of BvS because of Deadpool. Now a need to inject some humour into reshoots because BvS was humourless. If either of these were the case, they wouldn't happen so quickly, it takes a lot of planning to have a different cut of a film actually certified and I suspect more time to get everyone's schedules for reshoots to match up. And that they would release this to quell the rumours of the reshoots? Is also hilarious. They would have been planning to show this at the MTV Awards for months. WB couldn't react this fast if they wanted to. Anyway, I'm super excited to see a DC film without Snyder at the helm. And I wasn't really sold on Leto as the Joker but the more I see him, the more I'm totally fucking onboard. Also, bonus Rock at the MTV awards sporting a Black Adam t-shirt.

Had a bit of a meh day at the gym. Benched... 100kg for 7 95kg for 7 92.5 kg for 7 90kg for 8 ...Which isn't too disappointing now that I write it out. Then proceeded to absolutely suck at pullups (@Fierce_LiNk – Karma for giving it the love last week, it seems Ha!). First two sets were strong but dropped lots of reps on the next two which tells me I haven't eaten enough. Then I did some OHP. Then did one-handed wallstand leg reaches, with reps of 6/8/8 (supersetted with Crow Pose holds for 20 seconds – I'm actually pleasantly comfortable on these now). The one-handed wallstand leg reaches were a little disappointing because I'd managed 10/12/12 last week but they are tough as nuts and I had just done some OHPs so I'll let that slide. Then I did dips and close-grip bench to finish off because I knew there was not a chance I could do L-sits because I think I slightly pulled my left obliques. So, having written that out it wasn't a terrible session, but it was a disappointing one. I hate feeling tired. I'm not too tired generally but I'm super susceptible to any changes in my diet it seems.

Quake and Unreal have much quicker TTK from what I remember.

I'll have a look when I'm home.

Situps are basically a waste of energy. Checkout r/bodyweightfitness

Zombi is the dullest piece of shit I ever did play. And Dead Star is...I'm not sure what to think about it at the moment. Not a great Plus month.

They're the best. I love them now.

I have kept the skeleton of my Push Pull Legs routine and reworked it to be very calisthenics heavy. It's really tough but also so much fun. I haven't had this much fun in the gym in a while. Basically, I'm keeping the big two lifts, squats and bench (although I'm going to get deadlifts back in the too soon, I unintentionally dropped it when I was trying to switch to more bodyweight training). Along with those I'm doing progressions of super-sets... pull-ups/dips push-ups/rows L-sits/planks and then I paired this one together myself... Handstand hip touch/yoga crow pose If you want to see the progressions, this video is great. I've already noticed some progress in my first couple weeks. My L-sit hold has gone from 10 seconds and shaking massively to 25 seconds. Likewise my Crow pose has improved, I can hold it for about 30 seconds now. I'm doing lots of different pull-ups instead of just wide-grip and I can do more of those. I can do a handstand hip touch...that's an achievement in itself but I plan to really work on slowing that down and getting closer to the wall. Definitely feel like I've got the wind back in my sails a bit.

I'm writing about three different things at once and sometimes my sentences turn into weird non-linear wtf material. I'm just glad there's an edit button.

Honestly, there's nothing wrong with the cinematic universe. It's a pretty compelling one. The problem is a virtually non-sensical movie set in it (although, if you ask me it's just aggressively inaccessible – I literally only just understood what the Hell the opening scene in Africa was about the other day). The world of Batman v Superman isn't the problem.

Wat? Zoom.

This Lex made sense to me as someone who just had the rug swept up from him by the appearance of the Superman. And basically everything happens in the film because of him. People have compared him to the Joker, but Joker was just an agent of anarchy – Lex on the other hand has everything planned. And contingencies, too. Except he never really plans to come up against someone like Steppenwolf or Darkseid. And he fails at tipping Batman or Superman over the edge...because they're Batman and Superman. I didn't think the descent into madness worked. With the deleted scene being the only thing that really makes that start to make sense. If there was, or is more of that, in the Ultimate cut I'll be happy. I don't think a stoic Lex makes much sense in this film's context. I think we'll see the character change over time, though. I think we'll eventually see him run for president.

The Time To Kill is way too long for me to enjoy this.

Honestly don't mind that it's not a Taken shader. It'd just be the next Glohoo.

When have we ever not got a Playstation redesign?
-
Yeah, to me it was the Greek tragedy I always wanted to see on screen. And it's building towards the space opera it needs to become.
-
I really enjoyed the film but it feels like it was made to be three hours long and near the end someone asked for half an hour to be cut.

I don't know if it's real or not. If it is, my first thought is that it looks expensive. My second thought is that it looks like a PS Vita – which I don't have a problem with at all. I'm not going to pass judgment until we know more and I hear impressions. I'm definitely ready to jump back in with a Nintendo handheld, in all honestly the 3DS left me a little cold. My one concern is its design; if I do get one it will be after the redesign it and iron out all the little design niggles; Nintendo might be excellent when it comes to comfort but they do often have too many design flaws for my liking on their first iterations.

I think it's the rhomboid muscle, in between the shoulder blades.
