Yep, that was the story line I was thinking of. I do remember a vague line about being called back. I didn't think it was overly American; there was a Chinese pilot (and her dad), an African Warlord, a British...alien expert, some drunk Irish people looking for gold...

I thought it was great. I really enjoyed it. I loved that the trailer basically featured only the first third of the film. The aliens got a bit more fleshing out and there was a bit of universe building. I like the returning characters, there was some nice development. I thought the sense of scale was great. I think I know the storyline that HoT is talking about and it's a fair criticism, but I kind of didn't mind it because it helped break up the "serious" bits. I kind of felt like the start of a new franchise. I can't wait to see what they do next. The whole thing kind of felt like an Arthur C. Clarke via Michael Bay. Moar please.

I don't really see how he could remain. Kind of thought it was a given he would go. I'd take the doodled character shots over a poorly CGI'd bowl of Lucky Charms-a-like. I like the idea for that one but the execution is abysmal. Look at Viola Davis' poorly aligned name in the shadow of the spoon. It looks like Reboot-level of rendering.

Popular music for the film... twenty one pilots: Heathens I think it a pretty bad music video. However, it only contains about one second of new footage which I definitely approve. I quite like the song if I'm not being distracted by the video. Also, new posters...

Yeah, mine took a couple minutes. I've no idea why PSN has such variable download speeds.

I stopped intermittent fasting a couple months a go...and I am starting to hate it. I just wanted to try switching it up, because I don't really like making assumptions about my routine, and it was fine. It was actually quite good at first but I think that was more psychological because now after I eat I just feel less in the zone. So I'm starting IF again today.

That battle scene was absolutely stunning. Honestly couldn't believe it was a TV show I was watching. The thought that Fabian Wagner is doing the cinematography on Justice League gives me tingles.

Anyone read Rebirth Superman #1? I absolutely loved it. Tomasi is such a great writer, his New 52 run on Batman & Robin was easily the best Bat-book for me and after reading this issue it's easy seeing why DC asked him to do Superman. There are obvious parallels between Bruce and Damien Wayne with Clark and his super son Jonathan.

First trailer, I wasn't bothered. The gameplay? Fuuuuuuck, it's like World War Z. The movement of the zombie horde was amazing. I've never seen zombies move like that in a game. I cannot wait.
