  1. I feel like Disney know what they are, they have a production line. WB say one thing about artistic vision and then act in a completely contrary way. Something has got to give at some point.
  2. Yeah, I'd parrot this opinion. I have faith in David Ayer, both End of Watch and Fury (as well as his writing on Training Day) have him pretty proven to me. I have lost faith in WB and really hate how they're dragging DC's name through the mud. First the cut to BvS; either release the full version or make sure a short version is the one being developed. And now two cuts of Suicide Squad, a better received version that wasn't as peppy that was intended to be made and some schlocky mess edited by some random from the company that cut the trailer. It's absolutely awful management. I feel sorry for both Ayer and Snyder. I feel embarrassed for the actors involved, because they're clearly having a good time. And as a fan, I can only hope that WB learn how to make consistently good blockbusters again ASAFuckingP. I have...middling hope for Wonder Woman. It looks great but who the hell knows. WB let Miller, Cuaron and Nolan do their own thing with great results, I don't understand why they think messing with the process will help when it so clearly does not.
  3. What a fucking joke, 'Suicide Squad's' Secret Drama: Rushed Production, Competing Cuts, High Anxiety

    Destiny

New info. New Crucible mode. Artifacts now have "game changing" effects... Memory of Radeghast: swords reflect projectiles, including ogre blasts and rockets Memory of Perun: highlight players with ready Super in yellow, and players with low health in red Memory of Jolder: removes sprint cooldown Memory of Silmar: dramatically reduces damage dealt by DOT effects such as Thorn Memory of Felwinter: lose your super, but gain an extra grenade, extra melee, and boost to all stats Memory of Gheleon: gain detailed radar at all times, including when aiming primary weapons Memory of Skorri: speeds super recharge for all nearby allies Memory of Timur: melee enemies for a chance to make them fight for you So, Wrath of the Machine... Blind Raid sign up anyone? :P
  5. Yeah, totally. Crap like that really doesn't help.
  6. To be fair, BvS was a fucking mess and there seem to be a lot of editing issues with SS (Not unlike BvS, there have been reports of a previous cut of the film being much better than the current edit). Sounds like WB want all the creator driven films but then chicken out the last minute and fuck a lot of things up. They can't have it both ways. Either turn into a production line like Disney or go all out. Not this. It's exhausting and they should be embarrassed. I feel sorry for everyone working at DC Comics.
  7. How long have you been doing your routine? The only reason I look anything like I do is because I've been at this for years. I've eaten clean for probably longer (I indulge my sweet tooth maybe once a week, if that, but for a whole two years I didn't eat chocolate, cake or any sugar treats...somehow). I didn't drink – except on the rare occasion – for even longer than that. And the lighting in the gym is on point. The secret? Time and consistency. You might be getting to the point where aesthetically, the rate of your improvements is going to appear to slow down. I think I mentioned to @Blade a while back that there comes a point when the scales aren't going to be a good indication of your progress anymore. My recommendation is always to set fitness targets like aiming to lift a certain weight or run a certain distance/pace. We all have days we think we feel fat but knowing you can still hit that benchmark is going to keep you going. BTW, I don't do any cardio. Just to hint that I think that choosing between weights and cardio doesn't matter when it comes to weight loss, as long as you are doing something (I would suggest that there's an added bonus to weights where you improve the shape of your body and hold fat better). I'm not saying you shouldn't do cardio, I just haven't the time to work it into my routine at the moment. I walk a lot (96,664 steps this past week yaaass) but I know it's not really the same thing.
  8. Sorry, I keep seeing this but...can you ELI5 what an IV is and how it works?
  9. I've heard it's not great. Embargo lifts in an hour so we'll see. Empire 4/5 Time Out 4/5 Drew McWeeny at HitFlix B+ ... IGN 5.9 Time Magazine thought it was weak It seems like it's a little divisive. Some people thought it was a blast but not revolutionary in any way while it fell flat for others. Guess everyone's going to have to decide where they stand by themselves.
  10. Didn't really click when Ashley told me, until I saw his avatar. Very sad news. He has my thoughts
  11. I'm really enjoying Action Comics. I've never properly read Superman going but yeah, loving the two current ones.
  12. Got to say, Yorktown was spectacular. It's been a while since I've been wowed like that. It was such a cool design.
  13. Yasss folders. Yeah, I cannot fucking wait for VR. Might have a chance to give PSVR later this afternoon. I've only given the Oculus DK2 and the Galaxy one...which was surprisingly good. My brother got a Vive but I've not had a change to have a go on it yet.
  14. I'm finishing up the first week of my new job. It kind of feels like my first real job. People respect me and shit. I'm used to that but not in an official capacity. I was up in Norwich for the start of the week. Got to expense dinner so obviously I found out what the max I could spend was and bought myself the biggest steak accordingly, and maxed it out with the tip. I might have to request a company phone because I'll be shooting between places a fair amount. My desk is awesome. By the window in the corner of the office so I can look at porn Pokemon all I like. Oh, and I think I like the actual work.
  15. Or at least WipeOut. Imagine Zone Mode to your own music in VR. Stupid fucking Sony... At least they're finally introducing folders.
  16. I've caught 75 pokemon, seen 78. Of the three that got away from me, two were beacuse the game crashed. The third was a Pikachu that I used a Razz Berry, threw Great Curve ball and he ran off once he broke out. Fair play to him, that fucker wanted freedom. I'm level 18, too. I need more Eevees to power up my Vaporeon.
  17. Thought this was great. So so sooooo much better than that dreck Into Darkness. It did feel a little rough at points and a bit OTT at others but it was easily the most Star Trek of the new films. Definitely not as good as the first one but yeah, really enjoyable.
  18. Just embrace it. Be proud. You can't count on other people to celebrate your achievements. That's what I convinced myself anyway.
  19. I think the double controller thing is really unnecessary. However, everything else is sounding great. I have thought for quite some time now that Nintendo would be much better suited supporting one platform, not two completely different ones. I'm excited. Right now it all comes down to form factor, which I don't really have much faith in Nintendo with. Their first iterations aren't always the best, but really that's a detail. I can't wait for the reveal.
  20. I've started a new job so while I'm going to make sure I hit the gym at least four times a weeks it's going to be at odd times. I'll have to work out a new routine which is kind of lame but it's got to be done. Sorry, is what incredibly stupid?
  21. I absolutely loved this bit the most, the way the bullet rattle combined with the music was superb and the way the shield is knocked about gives a real physicality to it.
  22. Yeah, I labelled this thread normally, it was changed by a mod. To be fair, Star Trek 2009 was amazing.
  23. I think Cyborg looks much better in motion. It's much more terminator than I expected and it's still over a year out so there is plenty of time to improve the CGI (I'm suprised it looks as good as it does tbh). I like the Flashes, but I'd like a more prominent white background behind his logo.
  24. Justice League, special footage. Plenty of Aquaman.
