Street value a couple of months ago £60-80. Reduced so much that it came in at £13. Before staff discount.

If you get any Yanmega BREAKs, hook me up bro.

Asking for £40 is an insult, and many agree. I'm sure many more would disagree but we'll just go round in circles over this bit.
-
You could try asking, but unless they'll be staying there for an extended period, I doubt that they'll rewire the whole house (or whatever the electrical fault is) and even if they did, the value of the house may have gone up by a small amount (going on previous example rewiring a house costs about £2-3,000) I would recommend asking your solicitor if it is something they would consider asking. They must've been in a similar situation before.

I don't expect all of those questions to be answered, some of them I thought of whilst making the list. If you want to play the 80's card, then here comes some extra pedantry :P They shouldn't have used all dat CGI, instead opting for some awesome prosthetics (such as the awesome Terror Hound head in Ghostbusters) and dodgy stop motion animation (such as the shitty Terror Hound running in Ghostbusters). Dem Netflixs... trying to have their cake and eat it. :awesome: Not everything brah Quick edit on this though: Mike and [new]Eleven will fuck.

Here's a few ponderings I came away with: Why the upside down there? What is the point of it? If something is built there does it appear in the real world or is it the other way around? What is the creature with the anus for a face? Are there more? How was Will making contact using light signals when all you ever saw him do was lie about like he was off his tits on acid singing The Clash? Could Brenner be Eleven's Dad? Anusface seems to be able to appear because El opened the gate, yet he appears all over the place, is this going to be explained under "Oh, well the barrier between worlds has been weakened" defence? Or can Anusface make portals? (like the one in the tree as opposed to just shouting "Surprise Motherfucker!" whilst bursting through wallpaper, seemingly leaving no vagina portal behind) Is that facility there just so hold on to El? Surely not, so what else is happening that is so special. Although I am glad that they explained Eleven's powers by saying "Her Mum went under a Government program whilst pregnant, she thought that her kid would have abilities. It's good that she guessed that otherwise it would've just been weird." If there is a season two, here come the guesses: They pull Eleven back with a dodgy reason (see the end of the Onslaught saga), or it's a different/clone of Eleven who has no memory. together she joins up with the kids who will now be in high school, so maybe another pointless tangent of one/some of them getting laid could be added, to fight another Anusface, this time half-human as Will coughed it up and it's been hiding in the sewers, living off pizzas like Ninja Turtles, or more probably rats. This time they'll have to team with the Agency, now with Hopper a high-up employee (so the "I'm just doing my job" angle he's been going down the whole season will be pissed on when someone goes "just trust me!" in the second to last episode), Brenner will still be in charge and be the one to sacrifice himself to close the gate, his last words being "Tell her I'm sorry", a lone tear running down his face, as he charges into the portal, grenade in hand. Fuck my storytelling is awesome. I should trademark this.

Thought the interview went well earlier today, just received the email saying I won't be going back for a second interview. Anus. Nice one Gaggly! Not your problem, walk yo' ass out.

Aaaah, They're all on Netflix anyway (with the exception of Enterprise I think)

Not Voyager?!

It was distinctly average for me. The setting was good but it seemed to flitter between too many arcs to build up content. So little was explained at the end (or nothing was) so there was no satisfying conclusion. All Eleven had to do was open her mouth and talk (her grasp of the English language is much more than a few words) but instead opted to a few choice phrases for flavour. But against a docile and unintimidating villan as Modine she probably didn't feel the point.

What did you do in the end? Personally would've told them to bollocks, we picked that house at that price because we could afford it. Not lowball ourselves so that we'd have a little less over in case we need to grease dem wheels.

I'd love to get involved in this some day. -
Got an "interview" for some voluntary legal secretary work experience to see how I can fit it around my current working hours. I'm a bit worried how this may work, as I wanna get the experience but don't want to be taken advantage of because I'll be working for free. Anyone done anything like this?

The current trend is choosing between flippers, spinners, or going for something different and seeing how it goes. Pulsar's weapon - vertical spinner, with a beautiful death hum - was an interesting weapon, one I haven't properly seen (sure, Matilda's tail, but that's a tiny one) and that's what I think got it pushed through by the judges when wassitsname had to drop out. Thermidore 2 had more control/damage/aggression, but was another flipperbot and wasn't allowed through even though all Pulsar did was go in circles because it seemed one of their wheels wasn't working, something which happened several times. Dat Gabriel though, weapons like that are pure shit, but the material it was made from... what was it? flopping around like a dildo taking just as much damage.

I'm trying to better myself careerwise but everything seems to cost money, which is something I don't have much of. The legal secretary course I took cost me and I currently have nothing to show for it, despite applying for solicitors every week. I've bought a mic, trying to get into some voiceover/acting work, but that's not paying off either. The learning of the saxophone has taken a back seat at the moment, but at least I have one. Kinda stuck in a rut at the moment. I want to break out of retail, which is why I've not really looked at similar positions, but it's the experience cycle which halts me from going any further. And I really don't want to go into management. Not at Tesco anyway.

If you hadn't said that that picture was of a moon of Saturn, I would have thought it was a photo of a beach with a sepia filter on. It's more impressive that a photo was able to be taken, not the matter.

If Nintendo Announced A New F Zero Tomorrow...
EEVILMURRAY replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I'd be pissed off a new Golden Sun wasn't announced instead. -
Refund processed. The Steam guidelines say it has to be played "under 2 hours" but I managed to swing it after playing it for 3 hours.
-
I've played (finally) only 2 hours and I'm starting to feel this. I was really excited for this as I'm guessing I had visions of something like Metroid Prime in my head, instead I get a nice lil walking sim where I could use my lasers on rocks. Although I can see it getting a little better if I invested more time into it, I feel that the time/satisfaction ratio is too much on the side of putting in effort and even though there's a shitload of planets I'm willing to bet that many more I go on will look almost exactly like the screenshots in this topic. I've requested a refund on the Steams, it's an alright fun game, just not worth £40.

I'm tempted to go to this one. But after I fear it'll just be the same as the first two (missed the third but swapped posters with a mate so I have all three)

Time for a nice first world problem. Some time week before last a bulb went in the room we dub "the office", where my PC/painting desk is and where Kelly does all her makeup. A few days later, mid last week the hot water had all gone, the boiler seemingly unable to fire up. Two seemingly unrelated house ws... right? Read on... Calling my building contact peeps, one of them manages to get a friend who used to work for British Gas to come and have a look, help us narrow down the problem. He replaced two parts to see if they would solve the problem but didn't. It seemed to be electrical as when we were isolating the power to the water tank to change the parts over what appeared to be the switch to cut power to the tank/boiler wasn't actually shutting it down, meaning I had to remove the main fuse from the mains. The boiler was getting some power by the lights being on, just not enough to fire it up. Bought the bulb and having a sinking, yet optimistic feeling (as I wouldn'thave to fork out for boiler repairs) that it would help, crazy as it sounded, I replaced the bulb and the boiler started heating water. It's like it completed the circuit but what the fuck is a light fitting doing in the cable path to the boiler?! Now with the light turned off it stays on, a little dimmer and then starts going strobe, so it's staying on for now. I've got one of my electrician friend peeps soon to check it out and hopefully split the two apart.

Maybe you had an overload of Gains Animal? It sounds you've been pushing your anus quite hard over the past coupla months and yo' body is telling you to chill out. @Iun, you know our (or mainly mine) feelings on your situation over in that Eastern place. Get your anus back to the UK. Fuck the marriage.

I did use that autodetect thing - I wasn't going to trust myself looking for these things manually.

I'm having trouble trying to update the drivers for my graphics card. I currently have a Radeon HD 7800 and for some of that No Man's Sky action I sought out the latest drivers for it. When I installed and restarted I was greeted with a black screen and nothing else. I tried starting it in Safe Mode to take the PC back before the update but nothing happened. However I could see that pressing num/caps lock keys made the little lights go on/off. On a whim I thought I'd check the cables at the back and they were secure. But thought I'd try connecting the monitor to the motherboard (I think that's what it was) and it works, however I can't do anything graphically challenging (screensavers won't work) and it comes up with a prompt saying that there's a new update for the drivers again, which I install and naturally it asks for a restart. First times I said "restart now" which didn't actually restart it unless I selected it from the Start Menu and in Device Manager it keeps saying that it needs a restart for the updates to install properly, plus roll back wasn't available. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, this time selecting "restart later", so it knew I was going to manually do so, which I did. Same result. The update is still waiting for a restart which I keep giving it and it's not taking. The monitor was first connected via VGA with a DVI adaptor, which is now pure VGA to the motherboard. I did try HDMI from the graphics card to monitor but still got no screen action.

Although actually if I'm reading it right my CPU should cope with it: I have an Intel® Core i5-3570K CPU which according to this (http://ark.intel.com/products/65520/Intel-Core-i5-3570K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz) can run at 4.1.
