  1. I think they're clutching at straws here Flink. You do all this awesome shit on your own and don't expect (probably in their eyes) any incentive, so you're fine where you are - raking in da monies at a lower wage. I'd go for the new job if it gets offered. I bet there are no "big plans" ( have you seen any in your time there?) and even if there are they won't be big. Imagine getting an update to an app and it's just minor bug fixes. It's just something to keep you there, any big plans that may arise will magically not pan out, with some bullshit like "not enough funding" or some shit. By that time the delightful other employment opportunity will have passed you by and you'll be stuck without options. To summarise, as a Wise Man once said: Get to da choppa.
  2. Might need a title change.
  3. My brother and his mates use to walk like twats Team Skull ten years ago. It's painful to watch.
  4. That is fucking awesome @Shorty... but your Data is reminding me of a different Trek character but I can't put my finger on it... I've got Suter from Voyager in my head but I don't think it's him... My Jareth make-up artist has buckled on me. So I've had to take it upon myself to do my own eye make-up. Did a trial run last night. I think I did alright for the basic black and white design. Shall try a bit of yellow/purple blending before going out tonight. Watch Labyrinth earlier for a bit of last minute character inspiration.
  5. Oooh an FF TCG... sounds intriguing. At our Pokémon TCG league some of them play the My Little Pony TCG
  6. Maybe go on OCRemix and see if you can use some of the remixes there?
  7. That is season 5 onwards.
  8. It's only 99% world class. Probably why the hunt isn't that successful.
  9. Propa to Captain Holt for the inspiration of the title. So, that spooky night where parents stand at the end of driveways, giving their kids their first taste of independence, where girls dress up as anything which has suddenly been made a tighter fit and showing considerably more cleavage than the original (no complaints) approaches. How be y'all celebrating dem hallows eves season this year? On the Sat is the end of GameCity so I'll be out for Marioke but shall also be reviving my Jareth costume. I've invested in a money belt and one of those armband things to hold my phone under my costume. On the actual evening I'll be hiding in the spare room gamings whilst Kelly shall be giving out sweets. GO.
  10. I've been doing the Prince Ali parade routine for my CV, you think I've been going a little overboard?
  11. I don't know about the other designs they have, but that one looks pretentious as fuck. Called it right on my interview though. As soon as they handed me the clipboard I challenged them and walked out. Check my Facebook for a shaky phone vid of me in action, a non-sexual one for a change.
  12. I never said it was fair, and unless you want to King Solomon each kid involved in a separation - one side will always lose out.
  13. I would say that's down more to do with the mother being the primary caregiver (and usually the kids preference) over the father who is interacted less because he's off working to provide. And that arrangement is normally down to the mother having a greater attachment to the lil git she's been fapping about for nine months. Unless she's a real career freak, then you may have the father stepping in.
  14. Got an email from somewhere I applied to asking for my number as I apparently didn't put on TotalJobs, which is true, but they get sent my CV with my contact details in it. First I don't recognise the company, their website looking very similar to the former pyramid job scams I've come across, so I reply asking them what position it was I applied for. Then went onto TotalJobs and found what I applied for was basically a barman job, so I send them my number. They ring back and ask me one question - What made you apply for this job? I told them simply that I'd done it before and I was good at it. I got an invite to meet someone on Wednesday and I ask where is it I'd be working, she gave me the address which was for where the interview was, its location already sending off my Spidey Sense as I pull it up on the Google Maps to see it's right next to, if not the same building, as previous scam interview company Goldstream. I get the vacancy on my monitor and press the location, as it says immediate start, so surely they must know where they're wanting their applicants to work. Apparently not, they'll find this out "next week". The email arrives "Congratulations on being selected to meet Paul! He is really looking forward to meeting you on 26/10/2016 at 1:00 PM. When you arrive, please let our receptionist know you are here for the interview." I've just given the job specs a closer read and I'm pretty sure it's another scam company, only this time late at night instead of stopping people in the day to sell Virgin Media. Check it out:
  15. Isn't that 3 problems? Anyways, have to agree with some of yo' points. One thing that I always remembered annoyed me was when you're Ellie and you're in a house and Clickers come through the window, they charge for you every time. I climbed onto a box stealth style before they even got in the room and they came straight for me.
  16. It's another gimmick pure and simple. But it comes in two bits. The small screen which seems to be nothing more than a convenience if you wish to travel via plane to a hotel where they have a Switch dock ready, the other half being the joy-con rubbish... this small control multiplayer aspect will only be applicable to those numbering 2+ who can't play on the big screen (the trailer shows those on joy-con playing on the small screen) which most games will not implement this. Watch the Wii trailer where the guy "makes Mario jump" with the remote... but I don't recall seeing a game which did that.
  17. There is no way they'll have you running to the dock mid game for a touch screen moment. Although knowing them...
  18. If anything I thought it was too top down in some areas. I had to walk right up to things to buildings to see what they were.
  19. It looks... Okayish? I'm almost hoping it doesn't look like that. The whole "things snap off so you can play with others" angle is still going down that bringing people together shizzle that they've been pumping out ever since they explained that Wii was like "we". Depending on the price I'm not sure I'd be happy taking it out the house.
  20. They need to find a way to get some sort of dimensional rift going so they can get the good version of Hooked on A Feeling on that tape instead. We all know the one I mean...
  21. See, this post got me thinking, how high are you? I'm guessing we were thinking the same, you were about 6-ish feet above with an extra 'lip' of earth around the rim so you couldn't jump off, which would make it difficult for Zora's to reach you...
  22. Booked myself for two prerelease events this weekend. So if it's going to be like previous the prerelease, I'll get 6-8 boosters and a 40 card prerelease deck (which damages the event I think) for £25. If the set/event pleases me I can probably buy a booster box for £90-100.
  23. He does like going back to those GBC games. But he's right. Wind Waker blows.
