  1. Most definitely. But that won't stop the "but I was here first" calls. Which I bet medical procedures will get the same battering too.
  2. You just know people who had their venue cancelled are going to expect to be next in line, and when your sister gets married (I expect things to be more normal by then) people will try and push her date back 🤗
  3. I feelz dat. Fuck knows how many times it took me to beat Hornet. What's making the pacing feel a bit slow for me is that you're forced to stop to heal, you can't just heal passively like collecting the purple things in Super Metroid.
  4. I got a minute in of "I guess"/"It looks similar"/"it could be" before giving up. "You may see something kinda similar" *dramatic music cranked up* "Wow right?" No, fuck you. Anyone know of any decent ones? Ones which make sense? I've seen a few of these "theory" videos, and half of them are annoyingly pure speculation, but if the kids wanna dream...
  5. I watched about 10 minutes of that video yesterday before deciding I had to purchase it. So holding off on the moment to avoid spoilers. I've pretty much forgotten what I'd heard anyway, which is annoying as I'm wandering a bit at the moment. The scarcity of benches is scary.
  6. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/6092524 This delightful bookcase. But will be using it as a sort off pantry, to store the excess from the stuff we get from Costco so the conservatory floor isn't fucked over.
  7. I echo those wedding feels, luckily I* got mine* in just before lockdown, but the anticipation feels and having it dragged out... digital patting on your shoulder in a manly fashion. Never got round to organising a honeymoon... which has thankfully played out. *the wife
  8. Thrice more weeks of lockdown, how y'all feeling? As someone who still has to leave the house, it's going to be less weird for myself. The amount of adulting I've done already is blowing my mind.
  9. I've download 4 apps with various workouts a day to do at home on them. First one was downloaded over a week ago. Yet to start any of them.
  10. If circumstances were different in the country, I would recommend going for the third option, more interesting and looks like better prospects. Being as things as they are I would go for the more comfortable option, because fuck knows what's going to happen.
  11. Is this really worth £80?
  12. I caught a fraction of an episode once when they had no audience. It was like it was a practice session in an episode of Glow.
  13. I've not seen many places topping it up at all, one place (I heard somewhere) was taking it to 90%, a Games Workshop chum said they were taking it to 100%, but they can bloody afford it.
  14. I checked all dis with my senior on Monday, who said she would be picking up the majority of that work, whilst I admire her resolve, I'm not sure if it could be done as there are other departments she might have to do this for also, but I still have to man the phones with the new starter and email queries to the sec working at home to chat with their consultant about, to feed back to me if necessary (piece of piss) so was expecting my duties to be expanded, which I didn't mind as such, just wanted the heads up. Then Boris dropped his lockdown bomb. Now those who aren't working at home have been split into two teams, each team is doing 2 days in, 2 days off alternating, with the time off paid. Which from a time spent doing work, does work out "better" for me as I'm going to have 2-3 days at home a week painting models over those who will be working from home all week. It's the invariable amount of emails I'll have in the 2-3 days a week when I have to come into the office.
  15. They'd be royally fucked otherwise.
  16. So who's working from home next week? SOCIAL DISTANCING! FUN AT WORK! Workers at their desks n' shit need to be 2m away from everyone else (which the self isolating bit has helped with, would be impossible otherwise). I pushed the communal printer away from my desk, hopefully I won't have to move my stuff. The below video will be, I think, an accurate representation of what I will be doing next week, the current team roster: B (senior) - leaving by end of week, so is effectively off the phones / winding down her duties to hand over to new girl S S1 - not properly trained, so won't be on phones J1 - self isolated herself last week because her boyfriend's co-worker was confirmed covid-19. parent. H - off for 8-12 weeks recovering from surgery, full time, duties being covered by J2 J2 - part time, parent of 6-ish month kid, dunno what her childcare arrangements are, may not be coming in S2 - two kids, most likely not coming in on Monday R - one kid, coming in Mon-Tue, off after that Depending on how their schools are playing it (I don't think we're considered key workers as we're not patient facing secretaries) I'm going to be the only active secretary on our team in the office, as parents are allowed to "work from home", which means possibly all the phone calls, mail sorting / scanning / sorting prescriptions / sending out sample forms etc will fall to me. I'm checking on Monday how shafted I'm going to be
  17. Been to the gym a couple of times this year, it's just been too damn busy to get a range of machines. Worse of all are the groups of about 3 kids who all hover around one machine, one using and the others just standing there looking at their phones. Rotate and repeat. If you're going to waste your time not doing stuff at the gym, go in the corner and get out of everyone's way. Over the past week I've been having some shoulder pain, and think somehow I've damaged my rotator cuff a lil, so that's put a hold on gym stuff at the moment. So my body's making more excuses.

  19. How much for a badass worm?
  20. 2020 is now here. I got my contract extended another year, which I think is a necessity for them at the moment as staff numbers have gone even more to the point that they're getting agency staff to prop us up, as not enough people are getting through the application process. The person who sat next to me has left, which the admin managers are trying to hold me responsible for, but I blame the other staff and they have no intention of doing anything about them, so that's another boost to morale. Her consultants have been shuffled around (with me losing my easiest and gaining two regular ones, effectively doubling my work) with no sign of her being replaced. 3 seniors (including our new one, and the one in nearby department who oversaw us when we lacked a senior) are both leaving in about a month, our senior is being replaced with another staff member, so the work isn't going to be diluted further, but senior duties now overtaken by the admin managers. Hopefully, I just need to hold off for a few more months though, one of the consultants I work under is getting a grant for some cancer pathway thing, and has said I'm the only one she wants to be her secretary for it. Nothing is concrete so I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but hopefully something to look forward to.
  21. Did you only watch that one because Madonna did the theme? O_O (which blew as well) I saw Last Vegas last night. I'm sad I didn't go to see it at the cinema as it one of those ones where I went "I'm definitely going to watch this", but never did. Some nice heartwarming-ish moments with old people tearing the young 'uns a new one with just the right amount of swearing. Will most certainly watch this again.
  22. Only had one at the moment, was a Labour one and I told them to save their breath ad they had my vote.
  23. Wrong manifesto link dude, this is the REAL one https://www.labourmanifesto.co.uk/ ¬_¬
  24. Thankfully due to the assigned buttons Roc's Feather has barely left the Y assignment.
