Boombastic update. About a week after this our senior went off sick again and then quit effective immediately. So our department was royally fucked in being behind work. Instead of getting a replacement member of staff and promoting a current one to senior, the senior from the adjacent department is now overseeing us, but not doing the previous' work (which is understandable as she has her own) so the rest has piled on the rest, with another going on maternity leave. Grief can be a powerful motivator to madness, plus she allegedly has an inheritance for going crazy. Not sure why the sudden snap is as surprising to others as it seems to be, she could easily have been hiding her feelings (See Robin Williams for an example, which we all agree was sad) I'm surprised it didn't happen in the episode before, she managed to control herself though.

Didn't think much of it to be honest. A few shock points but a basic lull after the storm episode.

Plus they've been nothing but useless throughout. One was a nice plot piece in the previous season for the Master Vampire thing, but apart from that they've done as little as possible. All I wanted was just one Sauron-esque ass kicking scene with one of them.

Throughout the series the zombies* have had the Wind Waker enemy style of programming when it comes to the main characters: surround the enemy, but attack one at a time. *not the White Walkers, they were so anticlimactic.

Well most of the former with a splash of the latter. The ending was a nice surprise but I think 90 minutes of buildup was a bit too much. I don't have Sky Atlantic HD so had to make do with regular television. The visuals were not the greatest. Could barely see shit at times which ruined it a bit.

Either it'll get dragged out fighting masses of zombies, which will be boring as fuck, or hopefully the plan to get to the Night King will actually happen ending with an quick epic battle. Basically the end of Episode 1, or The Mummy Returns. If you want story, intrigue, twists etc, get some Robert Jordan. A Song of Ice and Fire is the poor man's Wheel of Time.

No way, as soon as they start fighting you can kiss goodbye to all the meaningful character interactions all over Westeros and say hello to a LOTR Return of the King-style battle taking up the next few episodes. Yes, it's almost as if it's the final battle for the survival of all.

The White Walkers best start getting their shit in gear. Apart from one small skirmish and a nazi-javellin session in the last season, all they do is stand about. Get off your fucking horses and do some work.
