What sparked this idea was some kind of challenge I've seen a Mario Maker 2 streamer do. Create a level within an hour. I tried doing that, and while I was a bit liberal with the hour limit, I got something I was mostly happy with in roughly 2 hours (although I'll reupload a new version later with a little bit more polishing). After that I wanted to do another one, asked on Discord for a theme, got "angry sun" from Londragon (so that's the reference above), wasn't happy with the theme or the result at all, couldn't really work with it, but managed to create a working level themed around the angry sun in roughly 3 hours. I really liked the idea of creating levels with a quick turn around, hence the idea. Wasn't really my intention to have a competition for intricate levels, I was going for quick simple levels. But at the moment it's 2 votes for a one week limit, so..

Like I said, it's been a really long time now. I thought somehow you needed the electricity from those dens to start a raid, but I think that's only if they're not active right? I assume there are specific dens I need to go to?

I don't think I have the resources to start a lot of raid battles, but I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

So on their 2nd anniversary, they announced a surprise update! No release date apart from "coming soon". So this will get at least one person on this forum excited (i.e. me). If you're at the very least interested in winning some codes for the game, check out Raw Fury's (the publisher) Discord channel, they're giving away codes today. But this game is worth the money in my opinion, more so after this free update.

We could have a time limit of 1 week, but I prefer a quicker turn around myself.. But I'm open to suggestions.

I found it a bit disaoppointing story-wise. Defintely not on the same level as Your Name. Still looked pretty though. Senpai Nagi was cool too.

Anyone in for some friendly competition? Let's say Friday, we think of a theme (not angry sun @londragon), and we have until saturday (or sunday) to create a level based on that theme. Than saturday or Sunday evening we go play eachother's levels. Then we decide on a winner.. who gets a pat on the back. Could also serve as site promotion if we use some #NE hashtags in the description.

How's the soundtrack by the way? Wondering what tier to go for, though I'll probably stick to the basic physical reward.

Yeah I mentioned the same somewhere else. Plus the release is in April. Which means the Switch release is happening regardless of this Kickstarter.. But it's still a useful tool to gauge interest. I'll most likely getting it, this was one of the few remaining wiiu ports I wanted.

Got excited when I saw it had an update, but didn't watch the video. Saw something about keyboaud support.. So I plugged in my Korg Nanopad! ..And that did nothing. Apparently they mean computer keyboards. That's disappointing. But I should give this more attention soon regardless.

Exited and getting it (to speedrun it in 20 minutes haha), but that's a huge disappointment. I'll probably still get the retail version, since it'll probably be cheaper (at least at launch). But now I have several of these empty boxes, probably enough that I can dedicate a "corner of shame" for these games "in my collection".

Yeah I also spent my 2019 gold coins on the season pass like I said I would. Haven't touched Smash since Joker though! I'll go play it soon again. Intended to get all the costumes while I was at it.. But damn, those things add up at this point, there are so many now. Anyway, shop wouldn't let me, so I'll get them later. But can't wait for the excitement of having new characters to download! .. which I won't play right away. Haha.
