    This looks interesting to me, but I’m a bit late: Lacuna passage [Kickstarter] 2 hours left :P. But the project already raised its goal, so it’s all good! I haven’t backed it myself yet, purely because I’m not sure if I actually have the funds for it this month. I think I have, but well.. 2 hours to find out for sure :P.

    Sorry, can’t be bothered to do a proper opening post. When I can, I’ll edit this post. The sequel to The longest journey and Dreamfall: the longest journey. A 3rd person adventure with point & click roots. It was a very successful Kickstarter project some months ago, one which I backed. I thought I already had made a thread about it, but apparently I only posted about it on this forum in the Kickstarter thread. And now it has been confirmed it’s coming to WiiU as well, which is why I’m posting it here rather than in the other consoles forum. The game will be released end of 2014.     Last few films seen (of which the last one tonight): - Ginger & Rosa (again) Elle Fanning is absolutely amazing. - Die Wand Bit of an existentialist film.. A woman is trapped in a mountain area by an invisible wall, and she believes to be the only survivor of a catastrophe. What do you do? People wanting an explanation for the wall will be disappointed, the film focusses purely on the woman and her thoughts. I liked it, but it’s not for everyone. - Frances Ha Sweet New York comedy about Frances, who doesn’t seem to get a break in life. Dry humour, sympathetic characters. I like it. - The iceman Based on a true story about a hitman. The awesome Michael Shannon plays Richard Kuklinksy, family man by day, killer by night. A very interesting character, which makes for a gripping drama. Also, David Schwimmer is in it .

    Oh wow, as of now my biggest reason to get a 3DS. No reason to still try to get [that import copy of M01] then I guess . In the meantime, I’ll go play with the DS10 version again.

    Penny-arcade had an article about it some time ago. Weirdly enough, one of the Nintendo land games (I think) reminded them of it. Concept sounded cool, but I think I get too nervous if I play it .

    Yeah, I was thinking I should check these things beforehand . I honestly couldn't find my voicechat settings quickly enough. I had it set to push to talk, and I had to figure out which key I had set for it. That said, I don’t say much anyway. Me and Deathjam used Skype for Mass Effect. I don’t know what people use with Team Fortress usually? With teams scrambling often, I wonder how people organise this.

    Dunno if these have been posted. Official new Disney cartoons, which Disney doesn’t want to share with non-Americans. From what I’ve been told, the animation is outsourced, but they’re lovely nonetheless (in fact it’s probably for the better) and very funny. In fact, it’s quite shocking what they get away with, especially considering the things Disney has censored in their other stuff. Anyway: This is the first and I think the only one on Youtube (and thus the only one I can embed). Ep 1: [Croissant de Triomphe] Ep 2: [No service] Ep 3: [New York Weenie] [spoiler=]“Looks like weenie’s all in!” I’ll try to update this post when new ones become available. Those with VPN’s or other methods to bypass region locks can just go to the American Disney site and watch them there. Episode 4 (Yodelberg) is available too.

    I don’t have counter strike, and I don’t think it interests me much. Unfortunately, I don’t have any recent multiplayer titles. I could buy some, but I think I’ll better wait till end of the year. Though I was eyeing Arma, but that won’t be for everyone. I may be convinced to still get Borderlands 2 (there’s bound to be a nice summer deal), but I haven’t even “finished” the first one yet. No I think I’ll wait for Battlefield 4. Oh wait, I should try Planetside, but I think it may break my internet . We can always play Isketch! Anyway, either Team Fortress for me, or L4D (1 or 2), something @Marcamillian suggested. Or something even older? Elite Force? Quake 3 :p I’m gone Saturday, and Sunday is a day I like to go see films. So I prefer Friday, but I think most will prefer Sunday. Maybe both? :p.

    I just added you. I try to be consistent with my names, but sometimes I have to change my nicks due to unavailability, or more frequently, due to incompatibility with accents . My accountname is: nat_king_cole But my non-unique in-game profile name is (usually) just Sméagol. There are so many Sméagols on Steam.. But I’m the only one with a Sackboy avatar :p. You’re also not in the NE Steam group yet I see, Me or Deathjam can take care of that. Somone on another forum got the suggestion to just wait until the likes of Battlefield 4 and Watchdogs and such come out. You’ll have more time to save money, and by that time a clearer view of the hardware you’ll need and more money to spend it on.

    Moral of the story: never buy a Laptop :p for gaming. If more people are up for it, someone should suggest a date. I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere tomorrow.

    I’ve posted an old Gamescom trailer of this game in the indie games thread, but I think this game deserves its own thread, especially with the new alpha gameplay trailer released yesterday. This is a survival horror game in first person, with rogue-like elements like perma-death, level randomisation, and unreliable power-ups. The game’s style is an 80’s vision of sci-fi, and it’s set on a lunar base, where things have gone horribly wrong. And that’s were you come in. One of my most anticipated titles. Edit: Oh it's PC for now.

    I think I’d enjoy it, but I barely watch any TV nowadays, and I don’t think it’s shown in the Netherlands (actually, I’ve looked it up, it has been shown here). I also don’t download, and it’s not high on my priority list of Blu-rays to buy (of which I buy few due to lack of money), so.. I don’t get to see Tv shows often .

    The whole point of that mouse is to be comfortable. You can adjust everything. You can basically shape the mouse to fit your hand precisely. I don’t have experience with them though.
