I’m still not sold on DuD (or Diageo), but for the sake of not splitting votes, I’ll let it rest for today. Which leaves me with choosing to vote for Yvonne or Dedede? I’m not going to decide now, I’ll vote tonight. There’s arguments for both of them, but I think I’ll give Yvonne the benefit of the doubt. But I’ll go over all the posts again when I get back home. Of course there’s still the possibility the potential killer ran into a protection, but we’re obviously not going to find out today. I think going for one of the roleblocked players is the best course of action. ######## However, DuD’s posts makes sense (#155). I think we can actually assume Esequiel to be town, as a townie roleblocker would probably want to come forward after someone claims roleblocker. But I don't get why you’re voting Magnus in that case? The most logical thing to do after coming to that conclusion, is to vote Yvonne, surely?

Are there any references in First Class to Wolverine? My suspicion is that I’ll enjoy First Class, but will think the Wolverine films are “meh”. However, If they aren’t totally crap (i.e. the same level as or worse than the 3rd X-men film), I’ll probably watch them all in 2014.

I haven’t seen any films after the 3rd one. Is it worth going through all of them for this film? As I understand it, all of the films are in the same continuity somehow? The first Wolverine film didn’t interest me, the 3rd film left too much of a bad taste in my mouth. This was more or less the same with First class, though I kept hearing good things about it. Then the 2nd Wolverimne came along, and the trailer didn’t really appeal to me, plus I missed the last 2 films. Trailer for this one looks pretty cool, so I’m wondering if I should catch up.

Looking back I’m not satisfied with Dud’s reply to Yvonne about how he knew of a roleblocker. Dud claimed deduction. I want to know how you deducted this. A tracker or reverse tracker could deduct this kind of thing, but they are accounted for.

I was succesful last night, unfortunately, that’s all my PM’s tell me. I need people’s comments to find out about the consequences of my actions. There’s one thing from the discussion I could clear up.. However, it doesn’t seem to be related to the prevention of any kill, so I’ll keep my mouth shut for now. Yvonne & Dedede, were you both roleblocked by the same blade wielding player again? Also I want to know who ran into protection before I consider voting. Info so far doesn’t suggest there is a 2nd roleblocker I believe (which doesn’t mean there isn’t any, just nothing to suggest it at this point). #### ReZ, any particular reason why you no longer think Magnus is town? Or just gut feeling?

Apart from HRHR2, I’d also love to do yet another short and experimental game, but focussed on abilities, and not discussion (24 hour days), totally unfair, complete chaos, probably highly unbalanced, your mod is god, highly improvised (both by mod and players), and choose your ability each night, and rules are meant to be broken. Yes you read that right about the “choose your ability each night”. As to not have a game like this completely derail into chaos, I’ll have to come up with a set of rules to limit the abilities. Currently I’m thinking of the following: - Limited to one target, unless you can convince me your ability needs more (a redirect for example) - Limited to one effect, no stacking, unless you can convince me otherwise (or if you masterfully can describe your ability as one effect flavourwise). So no roleblocking / silencing / investigating all in one etc. - Every ability can only be used once each night by anyone. First come first served. So no alignment investigations by all of town. Furthermore, going with the flavour, I’ll be throwing most other rules overboard. So you may edit your posts, and you may PM each other, and post my PM’s. Anyway, let me know if that sounds like fun. Despite being broken, I’m hoping it’ll be hilarious.

I’ve gone through all the posts again. vote: Diageo First post this day is a question. No hint of info until he’s specifically asked. To me that’s a sign of not wanting to post anything but you do anyway to remain visible and can’t be accused of not posting. My top suspicions at this point are Diageo, DuD, en Moogle. Obviously I don’t have anything major on them, but that’s how I feel right now.

Maybe Peeps simplified things, and we shouldn’t look that closely to the initial write-up, but potentially we could be using 3 names: Our own actual nicknames on the forum -> the name of the character, which are also names of people on the forum -> the name on your name tag.

I can’t recall being disappointed with character models (but again, I played on PC). But the intro level disappointing? you mean the short level where your office gets attacked? Did you actually play beyond that? Because the intro level is that simple for a reason. You don’t have your augmentations even. You basically have only 2 options, shoot or stealth, and only one way of doing each. You’ll have loads more options by the end of the game.

To get back to the discussion of the last day: I see why it’s confusing. I took the role PM at face value, but looking at the comments and the write-up.. Characters would have picked up name-tags which may or may not have belonged to them. Which means the indication of sanity on the name tags says nothing at all. So the question is, are our role PM’s our actual characters, or our name tags? We can conclude from Peeps’ replies its the former.

Excellent. On the PC, I pretended I never got them. I dropped the weapons somewhere in the corner out of sight, and I never spent the 10000 credits (then again, I don’t think I ever needed that much money).

I know they seamlessly integrated the missing link dlc into the game, however, I’m wondering if they also seamlessly integrated the other dlc? The bonus weapons and such? My major gripe with the game was that I could not choose to enable the extra mission (with Tong’s son) but not the extra weapons and credits. I did not want them, but they were very poorly handled as well. Basically, you are in a cutscene, and you get a pop-up saying you get the extra stuff, and then it’s suddenly in your inventory. What happened to these dlc in this version?

It’s funny, because I never actually finished it, and started playing it again not too long ago. It’s weird how those guardians don’t show up in a specific order. I want to expand my Kingdom before conquering the next, but the missions for their guardians haven’t shown up yet.

The list is too cryptic, but there are only 6 endings to the original mod. Like I said, go down the elevator, than take the red door for one, and the blue door for the other.

Take the elevator down, take the red pill, then the blue pill. To be honest, I had to look them up, it was too long ago. Anyway, like I said, apart from the new ones, you’ll get the familiar endings in the final game, however, they are revamped, some more than others, and some got switched around. It’s funny, because I came across an old post of mine in the questions or suggestions thread, asking for the same thing, getting the same arguments. But in the end Ashley said they would implement it as a trial, but after that.. I have no idea. It obviously doesn’t work now in any case. Anyway, the same counter argument: I see only mods abusing this power :roll:. I only bring it up now I have a genuine reason to edit my title, since it no longer reflects the content of the OP. Anyway, I’ll just forget about it again. And about the game: it depends on how much you explore, I’ve played this for over 8 hours, but you can get all the endings in less than 1, especially if you spoil yourself by reading about them (and all the other fun stuff) on the Steam forums. Anyway, I personally thought it was totally worth it, and the guy deserved his money after all this work. I’ll throw in the old cinema ticket argument, I’ve payed the same amount for less enjoyable films numerous times. But then again, you can always count on a Steam sale, you only have to wait 2 months to get the game for half probably.

Can’t really help you.. I buy all my Japanese stuff from HLJ.com, and a few others as back-up, but all reputable businesses, so I always end up paying taxes (unless the thing I ordered is cheap). That said, this is always cheaper than buying things locally, if I can even find the stuff here. I also know of a Belgium site, but even if you don’t have to pay any extra taxes, the taxes they have to pay are already added in, plus the margin they take, so they end up being more expensive. Of course you could try Ebay or less reputable business who will mark your order as a gift or at a lower value, but I personally don’t want to take the risk. I hear mandarake is a site where you can do that, but I have no experience with the. For vinyl toys I used to go to a local shop, but that doesn’t help you either. If I’d want vinyl toys now (sometimes I see cool ones on Tomopop, but I’m focussing on Japanses PVC figures now), I’d buy them on the internet, and many designers seem to sell them themselves. I’d try to go as close to the source as possible. For vinyl toys and western figures, I’d try a local comic shop, they usually also have this kind of stuff, but again, you may want to look if you can get it cheaper on the internet, even with the taxes taken into account.

Although neither of the posts involved were moved here, I felt it appropriate to respond here.. I could probably respond in a very elaborate way, but I’m not in the mood for a long post, so I’ll keep it relatively short. It’s a hypothetical situation, and in this hypothetical situation, there may be a hypothetical person who also has a say in this matter, but if it were up to me, then yes, I’d let them watch and play everything they want. Nature vs. nurture.. I don’t know what has more influence, but I think it’s a lot of things that shapes a person’s character. I don’t think there needs to be a “filter”, but I think the parents should guide them of course. Obviously I can’t speak from experience, but as I see it now, I see my role as a potential parent as someone who gives advice, explain possible consequences of certain actions, but mostly, to try to get them a broad set of interests, and let them experience many things. I think violent games for example, will be balanced by other interests. Non-violent, games, other forms of entertainment.. If you don’t look after your kid, and violent games is al he or she plays, than that may mess him / her up. But not even necessarily. Each person is different, everyone has to follow their own path, and I really believe someone should be allowed to make his or her mistakes. I’ll try let them avoid the severe ones, but still. Again, nature, nurture.. They may be messed up, whatever you do, but, also again, everyone follows their own path. When I look at myself, I have certain problems, but being an alcoholic isn’t one of them, even though my dad let me taste everything, even the strong stuff. I also don’t have any urge whatsoever, to hold a gun, even for a sport. So, looking at my own experiences, I don't believe disallowing violent games is necessary. Anyway, to reiterate yet again, everyone is different, and this also influences how someone thinks about parenting. I think this way, you think another.. As long as we do our best, then hopefully our kids will do just fine. Ehm that might not be short after all.

Well, I wasn’t comparing them content wise, I just suspect that I’ll think Silver linings playbook is the better and more enjoyable film overall, even though The hunger games may be thoroughly enjoyable too. Anyway, I’m going to see for myself.. As I said, I was in the mood for more Jennifer Lawrence, and I’m going to get it, because I bought that ticket for the marathon.
