I don’t know what absolute majority is. It depends if Magnus Peterson can still vote or not.. Using the Mr Men list as a reference (in the start of the day post), I think it’s 7. We are now at 5. I will wait for @%1; to reveal himself and make a claim.

It would be something if Jimbob were “just” a dumb cop, and ReZ a paranoid cop.. Or any other combination. I don’t think we have 2 fully functional cops. Ideally, I would like to get more out of this day than just this, but I’ll hop on the bandwagon if ReZ can tell is this is his main ability or one of multiple.

Must have been me then (the laughing).

So that should be Magnus Peterson. I don’t know why Jamba didn’t tell anything yesterday. And it leaves me to wonder why Diageo didn’t post at all. Does anyone know which character he is? ###### Actually, following Sheikah’s logic, he must then be Mr. Grumpy. vote: Mr. Grumpy

PlayStation 4/Xbox One - What are you getting?
Sméagol replied to flameboy's topic in Other Consoles
Ehm, yeah I said I was getting a PS3 . I don’t know many of those titles, but most of the ones I do know don’t interest me. Sure, there will be games amongst the ones I don’t know (and some I do know) which I’d enjoy, but there are only so many games I can get (and that’s very few at the moment), and I already have a huge backlog of high priority games (for Wii, PC, DS, 3DS, and PS3). Regarding the PS3: I have The last of us, and I’ll get Heavy Rain and Beyond 2 souls. Journey from the PS store. There are other games I’d like / enjoy, but they fall in the catagory above.. The Uncharted and Little big planet series would be amongst them. -
PlayStation 4/Xbox One - What are you getting?
Sméagol replied to flameboy's topic in Other Consoles
Ehm, I’m getting a PS3 in January.. I’ll (probably) get a PS4 slim eventually. It depends on the exclusives, but if the previous generation is any indication.. At the moment, I don’t know of any games for both that interest me that I can’t get on PC. The exception being Rime. -
Those countdown are quite confusing sometimes..

That was awesome, and a little bit sad.. But the ending was great!

Rumours are Tell Tale got the license to make a Game of Thrones game. If it’s true, then I’ll either going to be super hyped if it doesn’t follow the main characters and is simply set in the same world (like Walking Dead), or super disappointed if it does.

It’s Diageo who’s dead. I must say I find it strange some people get player names in their result.. Name swapping is pretty much the theme of the game here. Diageo’s power was to swap names, which would have been useful as people don’t have to match the character name to a player. He must have targeted one of you. I’m not sure if I believe both got player names, although it’s possible. I also just got a confirmation of the character I targeted. This conclusion is sound, but Diageo is the only one left who hasn’t posted yet, which is why I assume he’s dead, which would mean he’s mr. Mischief? Perhaps some voting shenanigans are in play here.

I assume he gets specifically told so, just like I have.
-
Perhaps Jamba’s dead.. He was viewing the thread, but he has not yet posted, which is strange considering his enthusiasm. Would be tough luck! I guess I was mistaken.
-
Well, I already posted above that I stopped Mr. Rush. So I’m assuming you’re him. It was just an RNG, and I won’t target you again, unless I have a specific reason to do so .
-
It could be flavour from my ability (in fact it seems plausible to me), but there’s nothing in my role PM indicating it. Any particular reason you ask? Or just a general question?

Had a good film day yesterday, which technically included The Hunger games: catching fire which I already posted about. Rush Was great. I forgot what the outcome was going to be, although I don’t think it would have mattered. The final race was genuinely exciting. But this film wasn’t all about the races, it was also a great story about the rivalry between these two racers, which were lovely performed by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl. And of course there was plenty of eye candy! Het diner I won’t bother you too much with this Dutch film, but I liked it. It starred one of my favourite Dutch actrices, and it had a nice twist. The plot is somewhat similar to Carnage, albeit far more dramatic. The young and prodigious T.S. Spivet A nice film from the director of Le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain (this guy must love his long titles, the French title is even longer). Nice, but not great, I particularly found the ending disappointing. The story is about a boy who wins some award from the Smithsonian, and travels a long distance to accept it. It was nice to see Helena Bonham Carter do a non-Tim Burton crazy woman again. One thing must be said: Jean-Pierre Jeunet shot this film in native 3D. And he clearly had a lot of fun doing this. I complained with Thor: the dark world that the 3D wasn't much to write home about, well, this film being native 3D, does a whole lot to sell (native) 3D to the public. If you want to see how spectacular 3D can get (without resorting to animation *), then this is a great film to see. A lot of great or even spectacular shots that use the 3D effect to great.. ehh effect. The other side of this story is that a lot of those shots will do next to nothing (assumably) in 2D, if you choose to see it that way. * A trailer of Frozen was shown before the film, and looked pretty spectacular, which got me hyped. Prisoners Wasn’t on my radar, but I heard good things about it, and it apparently was from the same director as Incendies. A good drama / thriller with some twists. About a guy whose daughter gets kidnapped, and he returns the favour to the guy who is suspected of the kidnapping, but gets released because there’s no evidence. I thought it was good, but I urge people who liked it to go see Incendies, because I think that one was better. Also, the next film of Denis Villeneuve sounds very promising, Enemy.

It obviously wasn't me, as you all know who I am. Mr. Misschief actually sounds like he has a very useful ability for this game.. I stopped Mr. Rush.

Just a quick reply before I go (I may elaborate later, perhaps): Both films were pretty entertaining. But I think seeing both of them in short succession wasn’t a good idea. The actual games part in the sequel was more of the same, and the film ended when it became really interesting.. But that does mean I’m looking very much forward to the other sequels. I love the setting, a futuristic dystopia, and I love how horrible everything feels, regarding the games. In both films, the build-up, and the very start of the games, was really exciting, and probably my favourite moments. I could do without the love triangle, but it’s not that bothersome. Anyway, it was good to see Jennifer Lawrence in action again, but like I predicted, it doesn’t top Silver linings playbook, which I’ll be seeing for a 2nd time at the end of this month. But again, looking forward to see the uprising!

I am wondering if, for the sake of openness and trust, it’s worthwhile to have my identity disclosed, and to vote for another random person to achieve just that. I think I’ll just try it out: vote: Mr. Daydream

I’ll just go see what that is then.

Any deviant game mechanics?

Maybe you should clear up if you really intend to host 2 games in short succession, because you’re mentioned twice in the list.

Yeah, I loved the music, except for the standard orchestral fare in the 2nd half of the film. I also loved the sounds, or rather lack thereof. Seeing things starting to explode in the distance.. really works for building up the tension. And although they’re completely different films, I actually found the feel of the film (the tension to be precise) to be similar to Alfonso Cuarón’s previous film, Children of men. With both main characters on the run. I agree though, this is a film which must be seen on a large screen (i.e. a cinema), because the effect will be so much less on a small screen. Children of men also wasn’t that exciting on DVD on my television..

It’s funny how we can have such different strategies even though we both play(ed) non-lethal stealth.. I maxed out a lot of things, but I didn’t bother with extra batteries or cloak at all. That last one is strange because I used it extensively in the first game..

Yeah Zelda.. I was thinking “geez for how long will go on??”, then I simply stopped watching. They were showing way too much. I did like the Mario stuff though.
