Yep. What Shorty says. Suits don´t equal tuxedos / dinner suits. If suits are fine (i.e. they´re not strict about it), go to something like Suit supply, but you´re better off renting a dinner suit. Make sure you do this well in advance though, to make sure there´s actually a nice one available in your size when you need one. Renting one will supply you with everything you need, including things like cuff links. Personally, I´d want to own a nice one eventually, for those few events where you could actually use them. Then of course, use them whenever I can just to show off :p.

As much as I love the tech, and this new camera, it definitely won´t. Not until image quality is on par with regular cameras, especially at that price ($ 1500). There´s good news though, the original is now cheaper.

I received my Steins;Gate a few days ago. Pretty nice package!

Not familiar with the games myself, but it looks like another good match for the Nendoroid treatment:

I´ve just calculated the cost, it will roughly cost me € 55,- in total (including taxes etc.). It´s a damn shame, because I´ll be paying only € 35,- of it to the store, The taxes themselves are € 7,-, the rest goes to the wonderful postal service. If it were only a few Euros cheaper, I wouldn´t have to pay any of that extra stuff. Anyway, this is pure speculative, but if the Nintendo figmas are any indication, you can give yourself a discount by buying two and selling the spare for more money.

I just ordered my Link. Pre-orders were up only a few days ago, so yeah, it is news. Here´s another pic: And yeah, Tharja has been released. I haven´t shipped mine yet.

Yesterday I saw: Snowpiercer Pretty good. There is a fun contrast between serious acting and some serious themes, and brutal action and some over-the-top acting and some absurd themes. Saturday I will see at a film festival: The zero theorem Coherence Maybe I´ll make a last-minute decision to go tomorrow as well. Regarding The raid 2: The raid 2 is currently number 1 on the public poll of that film festival I´m going to Saturday. This makes me even more interested in this title, but fortunately, IMDB seems to suggest that it will get an actual theatrical release over here too. A few of the titles that interest me that will be released here in the next 2 months: Oculus La belle et la bete Minuscule: La vallée des fourmis perdues The amazing Spider-man 2 Godzilla Starred up X-Men: Days Of Future Past Blue Ruin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qt1m_MG9Vwo

If you´re missing the visual clues (or if there simply aren´t any), also keep your ears open, as upgrades and expansions will give an audible clue as well. Once you´ve realised that, the ones that are nearby are hard to miss, so you´ll only have to find out how to actually get them.

When did it become so normal to use so much technology?
Sméagol replied to Cube's topic in General Chit Chat
Don´t care much for the discussion, but I saw this on Engadget just now, it´s a new Banksy piece: -
I actually played the original after playing zero suit. It´s like people above have already posted, the original is the basis but it expands heavily upon it. That said, there´s plenty stuff that will look familiar. I actually found a secret missile on the original because it was in the same spot in Zero mission! It´s probably worth mentioning that I personally enjoyed the original even after playing all the other games first.

I was just reading a preview of it. It does look great. Civ V had my interest, but I never got around to it. The sci-fi aspect gives it even more appeal, so I´ll definitely keep an eye on this one.

For those of you who don´t have too much trouble with Origin, and don´t own Deadspace, you can download it now for free. Apparently, there´s no catch, apart from downloading and using Origin that is.

Here another fan of In Bruges. As for Darren Aronofsky: I loved Requiem for a dream and Black Swan. I have yet to see The wrestler, Pi, and The fountain, but all 3 hold my interest (especially the The fountain), I´ll see them eventually (come on Netflix :P). So with that in mind, I would go see Noah for Darren Aronofsky alone. Then I saw the trailer. If Captain America wasn´t enough, I also went to see The grand Budapest hotel yesterday. This doubled the fun I had. The Grand Budapest hotel was awesome too. So much fun, hilarious, and epic. Just a big adventure. An amazing cast, although you get to see most of them for just a little bit. But Ralph Fiennes was excellent (not to mention playing a totally different guy than the one in In Bruges), and I didn´t know Adrien Brody could be such an convincing evil, evil guy. And for such a cheerful film, there was a pretty big casualty list including

Captain America was great. Action choreography was awesome. I loved to see the small team of "core members" of SHIELD do their thing (only Coulson was missing..). And those are simply some very interesting developments for the Marvel universe. It´s strange though. Although I prefer the modern setting, that doesn´t stop me from missing the WW2 setting a bit. But that´s not an issue. Thankfully there were still lots of retro aspects. Zola in that old bunker was great. Not being a comic expert, and having a forgetful memory, lots of things flew over my head. I was obviously not aware what the significance was of that Winter Soldier, and I forgot all about Bucky, so his initial reveal didn´t do as much for me as he would for others (like Bob then), but I like the character, and I can´t wait to find out what he´ll do when he shows up again. I also like that falcon guy, both the character and the actor, although I don´t like his suit. As I said, I´m no comic expert, so these links amongst others were helpful: http://whatculture.com/film/captain-america-2-20-easter-eggs-references-jokes-need-see.php http://moviepilot.com/stories/2014/03/21/captain-america-2-spoilers-every-easter-egg-in-the-winter-soldier-1281370?lt_source=external,manual Apparently that guy on the STRIKE team, and that neighbour/nurse/agent are bigger characters than this particular film lets on. Are there any minor spoilers I´d enjoy from Agents of SHIELD now I´ve seen the film? I´ll have to wait untill it´s available on Netflix, but I´ll watch it eventually. Marvel is on a roll. I´m really liking this trend of superhero films that are getting better and better. Phase one was a bit hit or miss. I loved Iron man 1, hated Iron man 2, Thor was barely ok, with Captain America and the last Hulk film being slightly better. I have yet to see Iron man 3, so I can´t comment on it, but Thor 2 was fantastic, and so was this one. Having all the films set in the same universe, and having small but significant reference between eachother and future films, is just plain genius, both business-wise and creatively. They´re doing many things right, of which the most important thing for them is building the hype. Going through a few mediocre films in phase one was worth it, because the pay-off (i.e. The avengers) was simply excellent. Like I said, I´m no comic guy. Even now I´m not likely to buy a comic. But several years ago, I could care less about the likes of Captain America. Now I´m fucking anticipating talking space raccoons and antmans. In contrast: Superman vs Batman does nothing for me. And I even like Ben Affleck! Bring on Guardians of the galaxy.

Watched the first 7 or 8 episodes last night this morning. Apart from a few interesting developments, I wasn´t impressed.

Bought my tickets for tomorrow, so will report then!

Way ahead of you. I was looking at the fansite, and if you get the "you win" version, you can mod it back to "you´re winner".

Yeah, but you still need the game though (or are you planning on acquiring it through.. other means?) :p

http://www.amazon.com/Big-Rigs-Over-Road-Racing-Pc/dp/B0002BQMFY What´s that charity thing some members here do each year? If we all chip in and buy this game for them, we can watch them play it.

This was my 2nd choice by the way (regarding choosing characters): http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Gingerbread_Man

You don´t mean me? I only expressed confusion when Peeps didn´t confirm being my target. I´m actually wondering if it was really a mistake, or of it worked as intended, and Cube made a mistake trying to correct this non-mistake. I found your post by the way, I missed it apparently. That was totally deliberate. While trying to co-ordinate with ReZ, I wanted to create some extra confusion in the meantime, while at the same time being consistent with earlier posts.
-
I´d like to think it was more plausible since none of my targets actually died. I actually had a disclaimer on that power, that would render it useless if someone got killed while I was protecting him.

Balancing is always tough, and even if you theoretically could get it perfectly right, there´s always the luck factor. At one point I was thinking it was too easy for us, and that we had too many advantages. No alignment investigator, and the NPC doing the killing. I felt it didn´t weigh up to our disadvantage, our powers being mirrored. But last day was pretty close, I personally thought Diageo and Yvonne would team up, and would have had less trouble persuading The Peeps to get one of us (well, me) lynched, than we would have getting one of you lynched. Of course, then that opportunity came up, and it felt a bit cheap (for me personally, anyway), nonetheless, I wanted to take advantage of it. If it weren´t for that, our only options was to stall, but I didn´t see me surviving this. And I was sure that if I were lynched, ReZ was the first to go afterwards. I would like to know who Diageo and Yvonne targeted last night. On our forum I was thinking killing Yvonne was more beneficial to us, even though the kill was not guaranteed, unlike Rummy. I also wonder why Diageo never claimed anything, unless I missed something. I also wonder why Yvonne never mentioned anything, I assumed he targeted Diageo actually, and that would be the reason Yvonne thought Diageo was town.
