  1. Yeah Ready player one is one I'll skip thanks to my intuition. Everything tells me it's It's a rollercoaster CGI fest of unnecessary / boring / exagerated action scenes stringed together, without any real plot or character development. Except this film, you know is also 100 % fan service. I like fan service, but not if the film's only gimmick is fan service. I doubt I'm wrong about this one.
  2. Well, it's the first film I remember ever walking out of, so it has been life changing. But now you got me curious.. .. .. Did it involve dragons?
  3. I'm not familiar with the Atelier games. Are they fun JRPGs?
  4. Describe it to me.
  5. Ah, let me try something. Edit: Yup. 3rd party cookies. I'm always blocking them, and it leads to problems occasionally (like Twitter embeddings).
  6. The (limited) physical version of Thimbleweed park will go on sale in less than 2 days. https://limitedrungames.com/products/thimbleweed-park-switch I may actually go for it, though I'll probably get the normal version in this case.
  7. Oh no, you should totally do that. And charge 100 pounds a night.
  8. Chrome versus Internet Explorer. I assumed you didn't need to be able to read all that, but if you need a closer look, let me know. I used the link all the way below the sidebar. Edit: Oh, and like I said, for a second, in Chrome it looks the same as it does in IE, but then the link disappears and the box enlarges. The same in Opera.
  9. 3D? 2D? Which do you already have? Don't you want to finish those other games first?
  10. .. And here's is a great video going into why Snake pass is not a good game. Edit: Maybe you should open a new topic and make a poll @Kounan.
  11. I'll post a pic tonight, I'm leaving in a minute. But I don't have any adblocking software.
  12. No.
  13. Guess who's the third? You also may want to put a little bit more focus on it. Now it really looks like a suspicious link between the ads. Edit: Ever I've seen the "ad" in the sidebar, I found it weird there was never anything to click on. Now I just noticed there's actually a link ("become a patron!"), but for me it vanishes right away. You may want to look in to that. Using Chrome. Also vanishes in Opera, displays correctly in IE. I got the link from way below in the sidebar.
  14. Is this a real thing? https://www.patreon.com/bePatron?u=9582895
  15. Back when I saw this thread bumped, I couldn't remember the only film I've walked out of. My brain memory erasing feature at work. After some Googling of the few keywords that were barely clinging to my memory, I could figure it out: My scientology movie, a documentary by Louis Theroux. I knew the guy, but I had never actually watched one of his TV documentaries, so I never knew how annoying I'd find him. Incredibly annoying apparently. There were several principles and interests clashing while watching the film. - Like others, I don't think you can fully judge a film when you haven't seen all of it. - That said, my intuition is not often wrong. - I also had no interest in scientology. - But then again, I didn't actually know anything about it. - I don't watch documentaries often in general. Obviously, I decided to give it a chance. Halfway through, I already knew I wasn't going to like it, nothing was going to change it. But because of my principles, I stayed. Until, I'm guessing 10 minutes before the ending, where I really had enough, and wanted to save the 10 minutes of my life I was still able to save. Never did I want to crack my skull against a brick wall more than during that film. I have learned nothing about Scientology. I remember one of the guys he inteviewed, who was an asshole, but he had an excellent point and put Louis in his place. But I can't remember what it was.
  16. I need this Ant-man Paul Rudd action figure.
  17. Coulson's back baby!
  18. Had to hook up my Wii to my own old TV (it's been in the living room for a long time, having actually seen use until recently as a Netflix device), got a bit nostalgic. Prepared the SD card that was used for it, removed some crap, but there were also some Animal Crossing screenshots on it. Plus this scan of a Wired magazine, which I posted on, well I guess it was actually the precursor to Miiverse.
  19. Do I actually want to buy Wiiware and VC games? Which games aren't available anywhere else? Should I spend my money on the Switch E-shop instead? Deadline is tonight.. Hmm ok put 60 euros on it just in case. Is that enough? Should I spend more? Deadline is up.. PANIC Nah. Like I said, I bought 60 euros worth of Wii points just in case. More than I inititally thought, but then again, I haven't really thought about what I'd still like from the E-shop. Apart from the Megaman 10 dlc, I'm probably going to get Chrono trigger, was thinking of Nyxquest as well. Perhaps Zelda: a link to the past purely for convenience. Perhaps that Zombies ate my neighbours game. I always liked the look of that, and it's apparently made by Lucasarts, so on advise of @Hero-of-Time.. I may get it. Not sure if I'll ever bother getting the cart. Maybe one of the Konami rebirth games. And Tomena Sanner. ..Maybe I should've have added 1000 more points. :| .. or more. PANIC
  20. The archives: Looks cool! The crystal cave: RAGE Seath: Mwoah, needed a couple of tries, but nothing to hard. Got his tail. Oolacile: Cool looking level. But didn't want to get invaded there. Artorias: That's hard for a "new" player at level 48. Took me many tries. At this point in the game, my shield becomes less reliable, and I need to learn how to dodge. Kalameet: Christ. That's even harder. But I got the fucker, and I got his tail. Manus: Not sure, I'd say on par with kalameet. Perhaps harder, but he takes more damage, making the fight quicker. All that's left for me is to tie up loose ends. Getting some items mostly, but I think I have anything I want, especially as I'm probably not going to play a NG+ seriously at this point, I'll wait for the remaster. Then it's Gwyn's turn. Looks like I'll be finishing this game at level 48.
  21. Holy shit guys. I was planning to spend 30 euros at most.. Haha. I want to see lists though.. If you're going to spend that much.
  22. I wish they'd sell the Toycon Garage seperately for say 10 or 15 euros in the E-shop though. I suspect Labo will be a hit, but I also suspect it would be an even bigger hit if they'd simply sell the garage seperately. It also needs a way for people to share their creations (the used settings) easily.
  23. "From the studio that brought you 27 dresses and The devils wears Prada." Sold.
  24. I'm just curious how much interest there would be for a new mafia game in 2018?
  25. Another episodic point & click & talk adventure game in the vain of telltale games, Life is strange and Dreamfall chapters. I bought this blind (the first Steam purchase in a long time), really I stubled upon this game while watching a let's play of Alan Wake on Youtube. It caught my eye immediately and it definitely looked like something up my alley, and after playing the first episode (it only just launched this month, so it's the only episode available), I can say it is. It seems to take the best parts of the mentioned games, and adds to that a little olfskkol RPG elements to it. You pick a class at the start of the game, one of three, and this determines what gameplay options you have available at the start. Though you are never locked out of anything permanently, you can unlock skills from other classes as well, it just takes some more effort. This seems to lead to plenty of little variations in gameplay, as there was plenty of stuff I had to miss because of the choices I made. Probably not a surprise if you're already reading this, but gameplay involves mostly talking and exploring, looking for clues and items, and some light puzzle solving. It does feel similar to Life is Strange or Dreamfall chapters, as opposed to Telltale games, as there is more freedom to explore and move. With the additioned of the aforementioned RPG elements. You're this guy who is invited to some island, where he's looking for his missing mother. Set in the 18th century, it has a similar vibe and even artstyle as Dishonored, though without the Steampunk, and using actual historical characters. I love the atmosphere and intrigue. Only downside so far is the sometimes questionable voice acting. But if they keep this up, this is going to be great.
