Awesome stuff. I wanted to have a go at doing that myself, but gave up as it was bloody difficult. BTW, spoiler warning for those that were avoiding the latest trailer, it's playing throughout that vid.

Nintendo's advertising efforts have indeed been pretty damn terrible recently, but I'd be seriously disappointed if they screwed up with MK8. I mean, it pretty much advertises itself! :awesome: All they have to do is stick some gameplay footage on TV and it's job done. I just hope they don't do something like this again: As much as I personally enjoy watching Harry Redknapp not having a clue at even pretending to play a game, it does not make for good advertising.

Anyone else get a message from ShopTo about choosing the T-Shirt size? I'd rather decline the T-Shirt altogether, as I'm thinking it could potentially delay receiving the game.

Only skimmed through it, but I very much agree with the part at the end of the vid, about how Japanese devs should continue to focus on what they do best, rather than try to create games specifically for the western market without proper understanding of the culture. Well made games targeted at the Japanese will indeed find an audience outside of Japan, so there's no need to change.

Yes, yes and Hell yes. I always try not to get too hyped for E3, but it never works out. And this year is going to be excitement overload. The combo of playing MK8 + Nintendo's E3 goodness is gonna be awesome. Not really thought about predictions. It's pointless anyway, Nintendo simply can't be predicted. I will say this though, with Mario, Pikmin and DK already out, plus MK and Smash pretty much done and dusted, it means mucho surprises must be heading our way.

That's pretty damn sweet how you can now attack after being launched like that, rather than just slamming into the ground. :awesome: Still really hoping a Wii U version gets revealed. If it doesn't happen I'll still get MH4 on 3DS, but there's no doubt that I'd rather play it on Wii U.

I can confirm that this is very much the case. Outside of choosing when to make a substitution, the only thing you can do during a match is watch the game, switch between various pages of stats and alter player positions. And when playing team data online there's even less interaction, as even substitutions become automated. As boring as that sounds, for some reason I'm still enjoying it. @Mokong, just beat your team 2-0. In-game my European Ranking is 207, and on the website it's 309.

Still a bit early to tell really.In some ways it does seem too simple, but in others it's pretty damn confusing. It's definitely going to take some time to properly get into this I reckon, things are moving at a pretty slow pace so far, and leveling up individual player attributes appears to be a very slow process indeed. I've found the games are getting increasingly enjoyable though the more I play. And I'm actually starting to celebrate goals and get annoyed with my players when they do stupid stuff. One of them got a direct red in a match once! I was livid.

Seems like it's only possible to make those changes at half time or during a substitution, yeah. Nope. The only way you can play more in less time is to do the "45 min" practice games.It's a shame they didn't add the fast forward feature of the video replay mode to the live matches.

My team is RedShell FC (couldn't come up with anything creative ) didn't make a note of my ID either but will grab it next time I go online. This game is pretty confusing. Loving the presentation though, the player sprites are so cute. One of my strikers tried to hit the ball on the volley earlier, but missed completely. The way he spun around was hilarious!
