Sorry to hear that, f00. Hope you feel better soon.

New screens: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=983879 Just Cause 2 was mental, and this looks like JC2 on steroids. Can't wait.

I just hope it actually does come out in Europe sometime this year. If the localisation delay ends up being the same as the original Xenoblade (1 year and 2 months) that would make the European release date for Xenoblade Chronicles X 8.7.2016!

Yeah, that was not cool at all. It's impossible to not get screwed over in MK at some point or another. Even in first place and way out in the lead, as perfectly demonstrated by the 2 Spiny Shells I received on Mute City. That was my highlight of the week. It's the first time I've ever seen someone lose a Crazy Eight so spectacularly to a banana. It worked out well for me though (as I nicked your star ) and you still managed to take 2 people out with the rest of the items.

Put together a highlight vid of last Thursday's GPs. Enjoy! : peace: YouTube seems to have completely destroyed the quality of this vid. Make sure you watch in 720p, and even that isn't anywhere near the quality of the original file. That race on Excitebike Arena was brutal.

Unfortunately not, no. If you don't have any empty slots, you'd need to remove an existing skill first. You only get skills with weapons, and they can only be transferred between the same character/weapon type. Either focus on those characters, or just keep playing as whichever character you'd like to have the skill for to increase your chance of getting EXP+ for them.
-
Really? Damn. I'm liking the sound of Normal Attack+ too though, so will probably replace Focus Spirit+ with it. Just transfer those skills over to the good weapons. EXP+ and Rupee+ are pretty common skills though, so you should get a decent combination sooner or later. @Ike had a similar response: You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse I'm pretty much screwed for Network Link bonuses now then I guess. *EDIT* If anyone's interested, here are the final strength stats for all characters (assuming they don't increase the limit once again with the next DLC/update ):

Damn, I've helped your Link on many occasions, including earlier on today. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, the Network feature of this game is completely broken. It's even more annoying now though, knowing just how awesome the combination of all EXP bonuses can be. Cheers. But man, it had me as Lv.67... What the hell game? Yeah, the new apothecary makes all the difference, especially when combined with the elusive friend bonus. Here's my Miiverse post on reaching Lv.200 (which most of you have probably seen already ): You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse I also put together a rad weapon for Tingle today: You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse It's ridiculously OTT. Hasty Attacks is particularly cool, you get the same increased attack speed as you do when using Focus Spirit, but all the time! :awesome:

So it turns out that the EXP bonus you get when a friend's Network Link helps you, stacks with all the other EXP bonuses! :awesome: Meaning you can have all of these on the go simultaneously: EXP+ weapon skill XP Excelerator Apothecary Focus Spirit More EXP! bonus Network Link More EXP! bonus And the result is absolutely insane! Defeating an enemy captain under those conditions literally levels you up instantly!! :awesome: I increased Tingle's Level by 8 on a single stage!* He's now at Lv. 181! Will easily get to 200 today, esspecially if I get more Network Links helping me. So yeah, if you do spot my Network Link, please help it! And for anyone that receives the Friend bonus, make sure you don't waste it! The effects only last for one stage (like apothecary) so whenever you get it, stack up the EXP bonuses and pick a good stage to play! *My stage of choice for EXP is still the "True Partners" one on the Rewards Map. : peace:

Yeah, seen lots of people complaining about this, but I actually really like the style they've gone with. They look just like you said "some freaky plastic dolls", but I see that as a positive. It really gives me a kind of Gerry Anderson old-school puppet vibe, which I love. It's like a Anime/Manga take on Thunderbirds. I'm more excited than ever to create my own custom character as a result. As for the online features, I have to admit it will be disappointing if it turns out being so limited, especially as early vids seemed to suggest full online co-op. But then again, considering the scope of this game, I suppose it should have been expected.

No, but I have noticed much longer loading times since the update. Although that could be due to my crappy external HDD. Indeed. I was clearing keeps instantly with his 4xY+X move, before even getting all of his keep assist badges! It's amazing being able to clear an entire keep and take out the keep boss all in a single move. :awesome: I've not used the Balloon dodge much myself, but it seems like you just need to hit X to charge it (you'll see puffs of smoke around Tingle when it's charged) and then you can use it whenever you like to quickly jump up out of harm's way. It can also lead into an attack where tingle spins his arms around in midair.

Group 1: Some classic moments already. Good stuff. : peace:

This is now officially the best game ever. You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse What a great addition Tingle is! His moves are so much fun, powerful too, especially the one where he chucks bombs/Rupees down from his balloon! Those new potions are seriously handy too... You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. Start time is 8pm, is it not? I was certainly never late. Speaking of which, Group 1... @Phube NNID:Phubey @Clownferret NNID: clownferret 1 @Brian58 NNID: Hairdresser14 1 @viceview51 NNID: viceview51 1 @Jimbob NNID: Jimbob-NE 1 @Gaz1885 NNID: ????? 1 @Pestneb NNID: Sjonpi 1 @Dcubed NNID: Nuclear_Muffin 1 Nando NNID:nekunando1 I'll be opening the room at 19:55. If anyone/Lostmario isn't cool with that, then someone else will probably have to host in the future. Also, I've not received a freind request from Gaz1885, and don't have their NNID so can't add them.

That's gonna be a rad feature to use with Driveclub. :awesome:

Finally finished Dark Souls II last night! Was close to giving up on it several times, but after a bit of grinding/stat redistribution (and luck ) I was able to kill that damn dragon. :awesome: The rest of the game was pretty easy, especially the final boss, which was a piece of piss in comparison to that thing.

Does anyone else have issues with sound when playing this online? A few times now when I've been in an online race, there's suddenly a pop noise and then there's no sound at all (even in the PS menu ). Once this happens I need to close the game (at which point there's another pop) and then the sound comes back. Only happens with Driveclub, and only when playing online.

Or just use Nintendo Image Share. Still a bit of a faff though, and the additional compression can be pretty nasty.
-
Is it worth going for those 25k skills on the other character's weapons? I did the one for the Master Sword, but not bothered with any others. Managed to get Link up to Lv. 150 on this at last though (in time for the cap to be increased again ), I'm guessing they'll up it to Lv. 200 this time. Can't wait to find out how Tingle plays in this.
-
How long did it take you? I started playing it a few weeks back, but then turned my attention to Kirby. Should try to get it finished before MH4 really, but don't see that happening somehow.
-
I've now gone back to a couple of games that I started last year but never finished, the worst offender of which is Dark Souls II. (65 hours into that bloody game, but have hit yet another a brick wall in the form of this gigantic bastard Dragon ). Also recently joined PS+, so that's given me even more games to get through! Beat: Resogun (PS4) Shovel Knight (Wii U) Alien: Isolation (PS4) Kirby Triple Deluxe (3DS) LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4) Duck Tales: Remastered (PS3+) Completed: - Unfinished: Dark Souls II (PS3) New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U) Fire Emblem Awakening (3DS) Driveclub (PS4) InFAMOUS First Light (PS4+) The Swapper (PS4+)

I'm not surprised, these things are like crack. Stay strong, mate... stay strong.

*compares hi-res Bowser amiibo pics*... Yeah, definitely less difference between Bowser (I did intentionally pick the worst one before to make the point. ) in fact I think I prefer the skin texture on the Smash version of Bowser. For the record, I don't think the build quality of the Smash amiibo is bad, but you're right that it certainly doesn't help the "human" characters look their best.
