  1. Cheers dude, I did get a code after all though. It's 7 to 10pm tomorrow, right?
  2. Anyone get an invite for the Beta test? I wasn't going to apply (thinking it could potentially lessen my enjoyment of the final game) but when they announced on twitter that they needed more European players to balance the numbers, I did anyway. Not that it made a difference, as I didn't get a code.
  3. Finished Little Battlers eXperience on 3DS, but I remain disappointed with this game. It had the potential to be awesome, but so many elements of the gameplay go underutilised. Other than on a handful of occasions, I had no need whatsoever to customise my LBX, or consider attack types or tactics. I assume the gameplay was intentionally dumbed-down with its younger target audience in mind, but it's a shame as I really like the concept of LBX. I think online play would've made a big difference though, so if we ever do get the sequels over here I'll probably check them out. Also played through PS+ freebie, Hardware: Rivals on PS4. It's a game that definitely needed slightly more development time as it's quite rough around the edges, but the fundamentals are pretty much spot-on I reckon. Once you get used to how it plays, and providing you can find (and manage to stay in) a busy match, the game is actually a lot of fun. I'll certainly be keeping it installed and checking out any new content in the future.
  4. Fucking finally!: @Hero\-of\-Time, I had to remove you guys from my friend list to reset the challenges, have re-sent requests to both of you though.
  5. I hadn't seen that, no.Cheers for the heads up. *EDIT* Seems like a winner: http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/3ds-eshop/radiohammer Will be checking it out for sure!
  6. Yep. Think I'm also getting more connection problems now than before too. Currently at 963 kills, so the platinum is in sight. Or at least it would be, if the bloody challenge trophy would pop already! *EDIT* 1000 kills GET... Trophy list 98% complete. Grrrrr!
  7. Pixel SNES & GB badges today. SMK cart badge GET!
  8. It really is.
  9. Had to be Baby Park to end the night, ey? Classic!
  10. So damn cute! I'm surprised they didn't make a new wave of amiibo based on this look. Also quite glad they didn't though, as those would've been really hard to resist.
  11. Yeah, I'm in! : peace:
  12. LOL @ mini-Rathalos.
  13. Played my best match ever on this last night: :awesome: This also happened: ... still no trophy. Hopefully they fix it soon.
  14. Same, just replace coolest with cutest. Therefore my preferred Pokemon are things like: I generally stop them from evolving too, to keep 'em cute. Yeah... tend not to do so well in battles.
  15. @Hero\-of\-Time, how goes your progress with this? I'm at 14 hours played and currently on...
  16. I saw a vid on YouTube where someone triggers airstrike and then chucks a load of bombs inside the bunker, that combination apparently works well too.Something's definitely not quite right with it (and the friend challenge trophy) though. Is it possible for trophies (or rather, how they unlock) to be modified via a patch?
  17. So I understand that it's possible to renew a PS+ sub before it expires, and that the new one won't begin until the current one ends. But do you need to use that extend subscription button in the PS+ settings, or can you just enter a new code into the PS store?
  18. I think it's pretty well balanced actually. I mean the tanks obviously have a strength advantage, but they are also much slower than the fast attack vehicles.A good F.A.V. player can definitely do well against tanks, providing they make effective use of that extra speed/maneuverability. I've spent the majority of time playing this game using the F.A.V., and have owned many tanks. Still can't get those bloody x3 kill or friend challenge bronze trophies though. At this rate I'll earn the final gold trophy (1000 kills) before getting either of those.
  19. Name: God knows. Let's just pray it doesn't feature the word Wii at all. Graphical capability: Really doesn't matter. We've gone far beyond the point where this was an issue, it's 99% about the artistry now, and Nintendo have no problems in that department at all. Controller style: Traditional controller for the home console. Handheld to feature the same layout but with circle pads instead of analog sticks and a touch screen. Handheld can also be used as the controller (or secondary controller) for the home console to make use of the touchscreen. The gimmick: All games/services are stored and run on the home console, which can then be streamed to the handheld via Wi-Fi. Streetpass and gameplay data accumulated on the handheld can be synchronized either by cloud or local wireless when in proximity to the home console. So yeah, the home console will be the main system that is required to play, and the handheld will just be a nicer looking (and hopefully) much smaller Wii U GamePad, that is essentially useless without the home console, but everyone will want it anyway in order to play NX games on the go/toilet. Hard drive size: 500GB expandable by USB port. Launch lineup: Zelda (yeah, the Wii U game ), Super Mario 3D World 2 (with online co-op and playable Wario & Waluigi ) a new Animal Crossing, and a new Diddy Kong Racing or F-Zero. Why not ey? Let's go nuts. No. of Bundles available at launch: 2. One with the home console, controller and handheld device, and one with just the home console and controller. Price: £300 for the home console/handheld bundle, £200 for the home console only version. Release date: December 2016.
  20. Yeah, my advice would be to wait until you've unlocked all of the driver upgrades before going for that one (at least that's what I would've done, if I could go back in time ) will speed up the process slightly. Very glitchy indeed. I've still not been able to obtain it, despite beating loads of challenges. Same here, I've got so many triple kills since I started playing this (you can clearly see the names appear at the same time on the right side of the screen) yet no trophy. There's only 2 locations per stage right? If so, the ones on the snow map are right in the center, and another accessed by a small bridge nearer the edge of the map. I got confused the other day with those stage weapons. Someone triggered fire of the ancients on the temple stage, but instead of taking cover inside the pyramid, I drove on top of it, expecting frostbite from the snow stage!
  21. One of the tunes in this really reminds me of both: &: which is seriously weird.
  22. Check out what happened in one of those games yesterday: The other player hit me with drive EMP (so I was a sitting duck) but then unintentionally sent me flying to safety with the collision! I like how bonkers the physics are in this game, adds an extra layer of crazy to the proceedings. :awesome:
  23. Glad you got into it. Fun games tonight BTW.Was hilarious on that deathmatch when both of us were circling each other for ages, desperately trying to get the kill. Thanks for sending me those challenges too. I sent a couple your way as well, when the game gave me the option to. Weird how you can't manually do it.
  24. I had a go at a simple (very simple ) traditional controller design. Basically just a fusion of the GCN and DS4 controllers: Analog on the left has an octagonal gate but the one on the right is round. Seeing as the right stick is camera control 99% of the time I figure that makes sense. Plus, something's got to be weird/different, so this is it. Full size D-Pad, rather than the mini one on the GCN pad. Decided to lose start and select (+/-) buttons, as they are pretty much pointless now. The home button should pause and provide quick access to options. Added a NFC reader in the center of the pad. Love 'em or hate 'em, amiibo ain't going anywhere. Top side of the pad would feature 4 shoulder buttons in the standard layout. 2 digital ones near the face and 2 analog with digital click directly underneath those, technically making it 6 buttons! So yeah, nothing too fancy, but I reckon this would work well, be familiar to most people and of course be comfortable to use.
  25. I can't believe Hitmonlee & Hitmonchan aren't in this already! Surely they're no-brainers for this.
