  1. A sequel to WarioWare D.I.Y. is right at the very top of my wishlist. I absolutely adore that game/creation tool, so seeing it return on Switch would be amazing. Would be nice to see Super Mario Maker make the Switch too, either a straight up port of the Wii U version or brand new one. And staying with the creative theme I’d still love for Nintendo to revisit Wii Music at some point, highly unlikely I know, but with a few tweaks and a much bigger and better track list I really believe it could be great. Other games for my wishlist would be Switch versions of nintendogs + cats, Pilotwings, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, Jam with the Band, and Tingle’s Rupeeland. And if there’s no Mario Kart 9 in the works, then some new DLC for MK8DX!
  2. Getting horrible flashbacks to Xenoblade Chronicles X reading that. This kind of thing was exactly what saw me giving up on that game.
  3. Nothing to get excited about (as usual ) but here are the new "rewards" for December: Wii U: New Super Mario Bros. U DLC: New Super Luigi U (100 Gold Points) 3DS: Mario's Winter Wonderland (Theme) (20 Gold Points) Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Jingle's Toy Day (Theme) (20 Gold Points) Animal Crossing - Winter Frolics (Theme) (20 Gold Points) Switch: There's still time... I'm sure Nintendo won't disappoint us by not having any Switch rewards in time for Christmas.
  4. So apparently this became a regular thing back in November, only found out about it today though. Anyway, it's on tonight at 9pm for anyone that might be interested: http://www.classicfm.com/radio/shows-presenters/high-score/
  5. Started playing this today after nabbing the bundle version on sale in the eShop. Can’t remember exactly why I didn’t get this at launch, but glad I finally got around to picking it up. Did think I might struggle to get into this a bit, what with it being turn based strategy (not really my cup of tea ) but it’s actually been alright so far. Liking how there are little secrets to discover when exploring in between the battles too. Already had me laughing on several occasions as well, the Rabbids are such great characters and their animation is super expressive in this. That early scene with Rabbid Peach and the real Princess Peach is gold! Here’s hoping it stays this entertaining for the rest of the game.
  6. This is gonna be my last game. Cheers guys, was good fun.
  7. LOL! I totally forgot where the goal was!
  8. @Dcubed & @Glen-i, you guys are absolute legends! I have not laughed so much gaming since Crazy Smash. That was hilarious.
  9. Holy shit! I’m actually in floods of tears right now.
  10. Oh man, this is nuts!

Took Springtron for a spin through Lv. 4 Grand Prix earlier, his big charge attack seems much weaker than it did when fighting him as a CPU opponent, although I only ever fought against him once, so that could just be my imagination. Some new badges are also up for grabs with this update, even including one for launching the game from the ARMS news channel. I really like that feature of the Switch, getting items in Zelda was cool (albeit a bit late to be useful for me) I hope they continue to use it and add stuff for more games too.
  12. Crazy stuff. They're either a robot or they made extensive use of that meal ticket exploit before it got patched out. I still think XP gain needs some serious tweaking in Splatoon 2 now, they should at the very least massively up the rate during Splatfests. Playing the ARMS Splatfest equivalent Party Crash feels super rewarding (especially during the x3 events) as you earn soooo much XP from it.
  13. Have you seen @DuD's level more like it. Outside of Turf War I ain't up to much. Watch me suck at Turf War too now. Anyway, see you lot later on!
  14. Pretty much everyone is rocking the Chrimbo hat now, myself included. Crafting all the Christmas furniture doesn’t look like too much of a grind, surprisingly. They only require a single material type (exclusive to this event) and getting hold of them is pretty straightforward. Each piece only takes 30 mins to complete as well. Despite how popular/busy this game has been at launch (not with peeps from here, obviously but in general) I get the feeling it’s not going to do very well for Nintendo. The reason being that longtime AC fans who will probably end up making the vast majority of the active player base for this game, are going to be much less likely to purchase Leaf Tickets. They will be more than happy to just wait for crafting to complete having been used to that from the console versions. I haven’t purchased any tickets yet and the free ones that I’ve obtained in-game/via my Nintendo have all gone on upgrades to storage space or the exclusive items (like K.K. Slider’s chair and the retro camper design), as a patient AC veteran I’ve got no interest in speeding up the game. So yeah, guessing Nintendo will eventually add more items that require tickets to unlock, as I reckon it’s the only way they’ll get enough people actually buying tickets.
  15. On the subject of Nintendo’s friend system on Switch, one thing I like at the moment is how it suggests friends from all of their mobile titles (as well as Wii U and 3DS of course). I’m fast approaching 100 people added on Animal Crossing Pocket Camp now, and it’ll be great to easily send friend requests to some of the dedicated AC fans I’ve met on there, whenever the Switch version of AC finally hits.

Nice! Will be interesting to see how Springtron works as a playable character. Got absolutely destroyed by the CPU version when I first encountered it.
  17. I keep forgetting about Monster Hunter! Gonna be a shame to miss out on that, but there’s no way I’m staying subscribed just for one game. Will get to check out the beta in December at least.
  18. Yeah... I don’t think I’m gonna miss PS+ next year.
  19. What do you consider the usual Animal Crossing charm? For me it’s mainly the lo-fi look, sound effects/relaxing music and an overall chilled out vibe, all of which is very much present in Pocket Camp. It certainly couldn’t look and feel anymore like AC than it already does. Obviously the mobile version is without a lot of gameplay elements from the mainline titles, but I reckon it still does a good job of capturing the essence of the series. There are even a few things that I really hope make the transition to Switch. Stuff like the fishing nets/honey system, and the ability to easily and quickly sell items from any point in the game.
  20. Not sure, don’t think so though.
  21. My current Campsite, Animal crew and Retro Camper van: Finding this "game" to be seriously addictive! It really shouldn't be either as it's so damn basic and repetitive, but the good old AC vibe is just irresistible! Hopefully it'll link with the Switch version somehow.
  22. The new update on this is great and all, but man... they really should've done something other than add a new meal ticket to help increase XP gain. (Doesn't help that it's also a right grind to get those tickets.) I mean I've been Lv. 40 now for what seems like forever. At that rate even getting to Lv. 50 was going to take an eternity, but reaching Lv. 99 and beyond!? Not gonna happen with the current stingy XP amounts. Oh well, at least there doesn't seem to be any unlockables tied to the higher levels. Anyway, sorry I missed the fun on the weekend, will definitely be around for the post-MK League session on Thursday though.
  23. Should be interesting as I've not used Smart Steering at all. Gonna ruin the 0% stat on my profile but what the hell, it sounds like a laugh! So count me... Fresh Prince x Mario Kart totally needs to happen for real.
