I called him Ursula, because he has no voice. And because I hate coming up with names in games.

Physical edition of the game has been confirmed to come out here in Europe as well. The game has been postponed to January 31st and it is priced at $14.99 / €14.99 for each pack of two figures. The remaining two figures can be purchased as DLC. Source

Found a Chansey on Route 5 yesterday. It gave 795 EXP! That was nice. Was looking for an Abra and a Growlithe (both of which I also found). Then I made a mistake of trading my Lvl 22 Geodude for a new Geodude, thinking it would be stronger or at least grew faster. I got an Alolan Geodude... frick. Before quitting yesterday I defeated Surge and got my third badge after about 5 hours' playtime. I like the game but it feels a bit tedious after a small while and I'm not quite sure if the "no battling before catching" is good or bad. I kinda like it but then again, it feels a bit cheap to level up my Abra without ever using it. The game is really gorgeous, so clean and colourful and nice to look at.

I'm i my on part 2 but I can see that some of the later quests are going to be a pain to complete if not done soon so will focus on it during this week.

I've played it as well, and some of my colleagues are playing it. Never reached further than the fourth dungeon bit haven't put more than 10 hours into it. I'm trying to unlock all abilities before going further into it but I often fail.

It's going to take some time, though. You only get Sinnoh Stone from Research Breakthroughs, and you can only get one of those a week. I don't know if you're guaranteed to get one, though. There are 22 Pokémon that can be evolved to a Gen 4 Pokémon but not all of them are available yet. I need more candy. Hadn't imagined that it would need 100 Candy to evolve them so I haven't got enough for a large number of them. :/ Did a quick Candy count of all with an evolution in Gen 4 (though not all are available yet): Some of those are unfortunately rather rare.

That shouldn't be a problem accountwise, you just need to change your country in My Nintendo for that profile. Only thing I see to take into considerations is the charger and power supply.

Agreed. But I'm interested in whether this actually could be a good game for the veterans as well.
-
Yeah but it's only for the US. I'm more interested in what's in store for Europe.

Surprisingly high scores. But I want a verdict from a true Pokémon fan rather than random reviewers. I get a review copy on Friday when it's out. Looking forward to trying it out myself.

In celebration of the release of Pokémon Let's Go, Kanto Pokémon will appear more frequently for the next week or so. Again. Please stop with the Kanto Pokémon, Niantic. We already have them - or try with the regionals at least. Also... can't seem to find "Catch 5 bug type Pokémon" so I haven't caught Nincada yet. It's getting a bit frustrating.

This makes me sad. I know he didn't actively do anything new but watching a Marvel movie and spotting him there was always a highlight. Wonder if he made it to Avengers 4.

I think they look good - they have a more realistic approach to how they could look, scaly, furry, humanoid. But now that you mention it, Mr. Mime does look a bit creepy and could easily star in IT 3. This looks way better than I would ever have thought.

Fixed. I saw some non-spoilery stuff as well, and it turns out Eevee might be the better choice after all...!
-
I thought that as well.

Plus, unlike Eevee, Pikachu can actually be useful.

91 GB - that's a lot of Switch cartridges. So it probably won't come out on Switch then.

Yeah. I don't get any real exercise and I'm just getting thinner with no upper body strength. Also, it's rather low intensity, it takes me about 35 minutes to go that distance (14-15 km). So by more exercise I mean more high intensity exercise.

It's very popular for offices in my field to have a daily plank "challenge" where we just meet up and lie in the plank for a set amount of time, for us it's four minutes and then after 2 minutes some vary it by doing side planks for 30 seconds. Then some stop after those two and a few others go for four minutes with the last minute being the normal plank again. I don't do the side plank but in the beginning, a little more than a month ago, I failed at 3 minutes. Now I go for four minutes straight with the last 20 seconds being really painful - I'm the only one that doesn't do the side plank so I feel awesome afterwards. It's a nice little ritual, I think. Other than that, I'm still struggling to do some exercise during the weekdays and then I only get out once during the weekend. On the other hand, biking 28-30 km every day keeps my fitness level alright but I miss doing weights so I'm thinking about just taking the car a couple of times a week to save a bit of time and get some exercising done during the evenings.

Don't know if this has been said on here but GRIS is releasing on December 13th. A new trailer has been released:

Well that explains it then!

Aren't there some games that you can just archive? I do this a lot, especially with single-player games as I rarely return to them after completing them. This way, a 128 GB SD card provides plenty of storage.
-
I hope to get a review copy of it - otherwise I'll probably not get it at launch but later down the line.

Moonlighter is out today
