Famitsu gives it 9/9/8/8. So not quite as good as Nintendogs, but close!

Not the Direct I wanted but it's the one we got. Won't be watching it live as it's too late for me but I don't expect anything ground breaking either so it'll be fine.

Bump. Just wanted to say that the game is 50 % off on eShop and that the sale ends tomorrow. TowerFall as well.

So we went ahead and bought that water rowing machine. It's no Concept 2 but it actually works pretty well - haven't had a workout on it yet (my wife is currently using it) but I've rowed 500 m just for the feel and it is actually pretty good. It's a tad expensive but the Concept 2 is as well so it's alright. The good thing about it is that it doesn't look out of place in our bedroom and it's actually quite small when standing upright. I'll need to try it properly in order to talk more about it - stay tuned. Also got permission to buy some squat racks - the only demand is that they are small and easily stowed away when not in use. I think the ones that I showed a picture of previously might fit our closet. Once I get those, we have a nice home gym with two kettlebells (20 kg and 12 kg), a barbell (up to 60 kg), a rowing machine and a dumbbell (up to 10 kg). Along with running outside that should be enough for now.

I kind of want it but can't justify buying it at that price. I already have Puyo Puyo Tetris which is the exact same Tetris but I like how quick Tetris 99 is to boot. I would have bought it at half the price they are asking.

I found this: Don't know if it's a mock-up or the actual skin. Nintendo of Europe hasn't confirmed this competition yet so I'm a bit confused as to whether it applies to us as well. But they have put up a new trailer about Big Blocks DLC:

Animal Crossing in focus would be the worst E3 for me as well - it's perhaps a little fun playing an Animal Crossing-game but watching 20 minutes of gameplay from one? Nopes. Nopenope! I'd prefer a split between this and Luigi's Mansion 3 then. But as I mentioned previously, I don't think Nintendo has that one game that can handle being the focus for 20-30 minutes this year.

Also new competition, probably on May 17th-19th. This time, the reward is a skin for Tetris 99:

Nobody dislikes Bastion. It's a great game. Remember to play it with sound on as the narrator is awesome.

Very valid points. I don't think they ruined it but it did feel a bit too much like a plot device.
