Co-op is harder - the bosses have more HP (or the weapons deal less damage). And then there's the distraction of the other player...

Finally got around to watching His Dark Materials - and what a show. I think they did it really well. It's rather dark in this adaption but it suits the show a lot. The first couple of episodes were a bit slow and uninteresting but the story picked up from there and ended on a high. Introducing Will so soon in the story was a good idea in order to skip the more boring stuff of his story. I must admit that I don't remember The Subtle Knife as well as I remembered The Golden Compass, so I hope the second season will surprise me a bit more. I really look forward to The Amber Spyglass, though. That's got to be epic. Anyone else getting a Westworld vibe from the title sequence?

New trailer: -
Yes.

What's up with the Triforce-Pokémon at the end of the Expansion Pass trailer? Pokémon x Zelda? Why yes, please! I hope this update is substantial in order to warrant the price tag ($30) and will act as a third version (I guess given that they will come out during the fall).

I think remakes of Pearl and Diamond are revealed here. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. And then some spinoff stuff. Detective Pikachu isn't really material for a dedicated Direct like this but you never know.

January 9th, at 2:30 UK (3:30 CET) What could they possibly want to show us related to Pokémon? The third game? Old Pokémon coming to SwSh?

That is part of the reason that one should have a separate account for the US instead of switching around. For other countries, you can use a credit card to just spend the exact amount.

What Will You Be Buying & Playing Before The End Of The Year?
MindFreak replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
So... I don't quite remember which games I had on my list but I did end up playing many of the ones that I wanted. I didn't complete Luigis Mansion 3 or Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair (the former because it was boring, the latter because it's too much work) and have bought and am about to start Ori and the Blind Forest. Those were all on my to play list for 2019 so that's fine. Once I'm done with Ori, there is no game on the horizon for me so will buy Witcher 3. All according to plan. Then I have Hellblade and Celeste on my Switch, both never played. -
Out today with absolutely no online advertising or trailers since its reveal. I won't buy it but I would probably have considered doing so had it been a mobile game...

Finished Witcher this afternoon. It was a pretty good show with some solid acting, interesting characters and a solid story. The only thing I remember irritating me during it was that each episode felt like a Monster of the Week show. I got that the stories were intertwined and that it made sense, it just felt a bit off. Now they should hurry up with the second season! (Also glad that they didn't go far into the main story of the books so almost no spoilers to me in that regard. I'm about to finally finish the second book.)

Yeah, try removing the SD card. Or start a game from the internal memory rather than the SD card to see if that works.

Geez, just saw a video of the level. Absolutely insane, and it really puts me off playing it.

Erm. I wasn't halfway through as I thought. I was at 36 %. Tried again and got to the third fight against Capital B, who bested me this time. 50 %. At least I get better but I hate things like this. There are points where I find that it's impossible to actually avoid getting hit.

Just go to them, press A and give a Wishing Star. That'll activate them.

So, I am now ready for the Impossible Lair, having collected bees from every level as well as a few secret ones - giving me 44 bees in total. I hope that's enough but I'm now halfway through The Impossible Lair and have 8 bees left. So will probably have to try again. Some parts were easy enough, some parts took several tries and some parts seem impossible without the bees. I have enjoyed the ride, this game is really good. I have a few niggles, though. One being the inability to backtrack in a level - if you accidentally activate a checkpoint or fall off a ledge, you can't go back so that's a missed coin right there. Happened quite a few times for me and it was frustrating - but I've learned that you don't need so many of those coins so I'll just leave it. Another thing is the flow of the levels. I don't find them as fluid as Rayman Legends or DKC Returns (or TF), even though this game is inspired by them.

Have you tried powering it completely off by holding down the power button for 5 seconds?

@drahkon What difficulty level are you playing at?

Found a Panic-level yesterday and experienced something weird about it. It's called Production Path - Panic and once I started the level, I could immediately roll and jump to get past the first cogwheel. But when I died, I couldn't do it again, the cogwheel had turned too much and thus, I wasn't able to get the first TWIT coin in the runs where I died before the first checkpoint. Other than that, I'm finding the game quite enjoyable, definitely the best YL game out there.

Yeah, that was a really great start to the show. The setting is really good, and while some of the stuff was a bit hard to follow for people not knowing of the story in the books (my wife kept asking questions), I think it did a good job. Looking forward to seeing the next episodes!

Wow, great trailer! Looks promising though it's still a complete mystery what is going on. Now I see why they went to Denmark to record some of the movie. Windmills...

Also Ori and the Blind Forest and Witcher 3, both -30 %.

What do you mean, myth? Sorry. Meant mythology.
