Yeah. Make the story far more important and use Pokémon to battle your way through to the enemy, make the story grander and be less selfish. Replace the Gyms with boss fights and for God's sake make them stronger. You shouldn't be able to challenge someone with all 6 Pokémon when they only have 3 themselves. They do this in the anime where they choose a number of Pokémon to enter the battle with, surely it would work in the games as well. Or at least make a hard mode an option.

Agreed. I stopped watching after season 4 but always felt it was a shame. Just too much soap opera and samey villains for my taste.

Ultimately, all coding logic and constructions can be boiled down to ifs and loops but it quickly becomes very cumbersome to read and maintain. But it shows how important understanding those two concepts is.

Will read the previous posts when I get more time. But I want to say that the reason I'm not really seeing much Marvel or that interested in the newer films and shows is just that the new heroes they want to focus on aren't that interesting or well-known, hence they appeal less to me. I like to get to know new heroes but I don't need 4 or 6 hours to get acquainted with them. I haven't seen Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Moon Knight or Ms Marvel yet. Nor the new Thor (but will catch it when it hits streaming services) and I found doctor Strange 2 a bit lacking. She-Hulk is not my thing either. But the new Avengers-movies they just announced excite me because they have some interesting source material to lean on. And I can always read up on stuff I missed when I watch those

That's true. Hadn't thoughr of that. I just find the tank role a bit boring to use.

I didn't like that I feel forced to change Noah's class. I don't like the class he changes into. But I really like the setting and the story so far (also at chapter 2). It quite philosophical in its essense which I enjoy, and the characters are for the most part likeable and really different. I think they did a spectacular job in that regard.

Played for 1.5 hours yesterday. Despite it being the very beginning and tutorial heavy, I enjoyed it very much. I think it was a very smooth introduction, at least if you have played XC2. Got to the point where I am allowed to go outside Colony 9 again.

I think I perceived the Disney one as a darker version. In fact, I think it was a discussion here about how they will do the donkey segment of the movie without making it too creepy.

Wait, there's two Pinocchio movies this year? Didn't realise that until I saw that this was stop-motion and I definitely remember a (darker) live-action version as well.

No, I'm getting Xenoblade for review purposes this week. And I'm not that interested in this game, though I admittedly haven't seen much from it.

I code. I am a software engineer in the pension industry and have been coding professionally for the past 8 years. I started with some Mainframe coding in PL/1 and COBOL but moved tl Java 4 years ago and have now started a new job with C#. The transition from PL/1 (a C++ ish language) to Java was rough but I'm a fast learner and I didn't have to build stuff from the ground up. Most people are taught to program in Java or C# as they are both widely used and are relatively easy to start out with. I've never used Python so can't compare that. I find that the greatest barrier for getting started is to find the right tools and set up the computer to actually compile (build) whatever code you've been doing but I think that has been made easier over the years.

It's rough to start family life with such things but it sounds like life will relatively soon be a normal family life without much to worry about - or well, except that you suddenly have a baby and that alone gives tons of worries! My own family life started with my first-born son to have Hirschsprungs Desease and got a hole in his colon (which is deadly) so he was admitted to surgery on his fifth day, then again when we was one month old and finally when he was 4 months old. It was rough, but he's just fine now. He has some scars on his belly and goes to the toilet a little more often than others but is otherwise just fine.

It's truly amazing. And just imagine how many planets are orbeting all those stars... It's absolutely ridiculous to believe that Earth is the only planet with life.

I know this isn't quite the right thread but had a Smash session yesterday with a f(r)iend, 1-on-1, and we noticed that we suddenly got KO counts for KO'ing an Assist Trophy. It seems weird if we only noticed that now so the question is, is that a relatively new addition?

We were busy this weekend and didn't have the energy for ST4 so I put on Man vs Bee. Goofy show, had its moments but mainly worked because it was so stupid. Can recommend if you have a few minutes to kill.
