I reached the final kingdom yesterday after some amount of Power Moons. I haven't completed it yet but it doesn't seem as hard as previous Champion's Roads. I think I got about halfway before I accidentally fell down. Other than that, I have tried to complete each kingdom but I just can't figure out how to obtain some specific moons, and I missed some art or pictures in other kingdoms.

Impressive. One thing I've yet to discover after completing the story is this:
-
That was my reaction as well! Everything about that is so awesome.

When you start a level, you have some objectives that result in a moon or two. After this part, you just stumble upon them as you explore. There is a list so you know how many moons are in a level and you can get hints for the names of some moons on the list from a parrot in each level. And then amiibo can help too.
-
Haha, yeah. Opinions are terrible, they get in the way of so many friendships. But it's not as bad as it might sound from my post. I still want to gather all moons and I wouldn't want to do that if it were awful. I have almost completed Sand Kingdom now. The last few moons are a mystery to me, though.

I gave the game a 4/5 rating. Why? Well, to say the least, the game is a joy to play, pure and simple. It's so good for the most part, it's gorgeous to look at and the soundtrack is amazing. What I disliked, though, is that it's so easy it's almost boring to progress. Moons are everywhere and you quickly gather what you need to progress. Only the curiousity for what comes next is a driving force in that regard. Furthermore, it lacks platforming elements. They are almost completely gone and replaced with captures for the most part. This is a bit sad as platforming is what makes a Mario-game for me. There are also too many moons. It's not fun to look for a spot in the ground. And it's so hard to find them all because of this, or it's tedious and trivial. My last concern is that it doesn't feel a whole lot like Mario. There are only a few classic Mario-items in the game. That's a shame. Otherwise, the game is really good to play. I spent about 11 hours to reach the credits and still have a lot of moons to find. There is a bonus to find them all.

Just saying, the post-game is where the real fun starts...! And you can't complete each world right off the bat, you need to go back later on. This is true. I've played mostly in handheld mode but had to take off the JoyCons at some points in order to perform some moves.

That could be me. I have it for reviewing but no worries, I'm not spoiling anything.

Depends... There are no real puzzles in the game but it's more about discovering places and caves to get equipment that is stronger than what you've already got. Then it's much more about combat and fighting. There is also more story to it than in any Zelda game and lots of interesting side-quests. It's really a good game all in all.

Today is the one year anniversary of the reveal of the Switch. I.e. one year ago, we got this: Quite the year!

Yes. Full update log: I tried watching it full screen here (24" display) and it was like... "ouch, my eyes!!" There's a video here, though, from Zelda: That looks much better, though still a bit unclean. The editor wrote this: "It's an MP4 file, 1280x720 resolution, 30 fps, encoded as H.264, with AAC stereo audio at 48kHz. The bitrate is 4.38Mbit/s."

There have been some details in Famitsu recently that might shed some light on the the differences from SM: Source: http://nintendoeverything.com/new-pokemon-ultra-sunultra-moon-details-postgame-episode-visit-a-world-with-legendary-pokemon-more/

Sorry, didn't put the last part quite right. "Sure, some of them are unfair on first playthrough" but that won't change your mind. Well, it's fair that you don't like the game and then it's good that you only paid £3.51 for it.
-
While it looks quite decent, I'll probably wait for it to hit Netflix or (if the reviews are really good) VOD.
-
Well, yeah, if you only played the easy half of the game and then calling it done, it's understandable that you disliked it. The fun part of the game is to be good enough to collect the black coins. Sure, some of them are unfair and require you to memorize parts of the level or restart the level many times but ultimately, they are a good challenge (except the Ghost House-levels, they suck). I agree with Remix, though, it's too much of the same stuff with not much of a challenge when it comes down to it - and collecting the rainbow coins are clearly down to luck in some cases.

Ultra Challenge Pack can be downloaded now if you update the game.

Due NintendoEverything. Now for Ubisoft to officially confirm this. And for me to get the Season Pass - might wait until pack 2, though.

Nice. Now we just need some more offers!

I'm playing this on Switch and am near the end-game of it. Though it's been a good ride, I have some niggles with the game, mainly wasting a lot of time due to 1) similar areas and 2) no warp system, making it tedious to walk around to find the secrets. I've wasted too much time in the game trying to find out where to go and the map doesn't always help with this so yesteday I resorted to a guide to help me find some of the last secrets and "the way out". Furthermore, some enemies are still, even late in the game, causing me trouble because they are either hard to hit with the weapons, or they just have too much health. That's a minor thing, though. Other than that, it's been a pleasure to try the game. It's quite good on a gameplay-level, and the upgrades are a nice twist to the genre. The story seems interesting but I haven't read all those notes I've been collecting. Might just read them online once I'm done with the game.

Yeah, general review embargo on this game is October 26th.

No, just accept the invite.

Agreed. He needs enough food and that's all there is to say about it. My wife is a bit emotional about it still but has accepted that breastfeeding is on the way out. I'm still a bit sore in the shoulder, especially when shaking something heavy, like a frying pan or the like, but it's got a lot better. Also my hip is still a bit swollen and I feel like there is something stuck behind my shoulder blade. Nothing too bad, though, and I have been able to exercise without pain so it's getting there.
-
Breast is best, yes, because the milk is completely tailored to the baby feeding on it. There is also the right amount of milk (normally) for the baby to not gain too much weight. But breastfeeding is apparently extremely hard in modern society for whatever reasons (too much attention, too strict rules for weight loss / gain, etc., I think). Formula is not bad at all, it just has a bad reputation.

I bought Axiom Verge the other day. What a great game that is! I've spend about 7 hours with it and my main complaint is that I still have a hard time navigating the game because of 1) no warping and 2) every envronment looks the same making it hard to remember where that secret is. Otherwise, I love the upgrades available - they are totally non-typical for the genre (but still recognisable) and the story seems quite interesting and kind of philosophically deep. Definitely a thumbs up from me!
