Actually, I haven't played the demo or the past couple of games in the series. While I really enjoyed the second game, I never got to finish it due to having trouble with some bee boss, and then I didn't prioritize the following games due to their similarity with the second one and the sheer size of the games. But what I played of the game was really good.

This is out on October 17th in Germany and thus probably in the entire Europe. However, the physical version is out on November 5th. This is not official outside Germany but still probably true for other countries.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions
MindFreak replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Launch trailer (though it's out on October 6th) www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yRAAEV5tGg -
I found the first game incredibly dull and tedious. I loved Heist, though. So I'll probably not pick this up - is that a bad decision?

I'll definitely buy Super Mario Odyssey and probably also RiME which should occupy me for the rest of the year on Switch to some extend. Then there are indies like Hollow Knight and such that I'll probably be doing reviews of. The Zelda DLC will also help fill out my time. I don't think I'll buy any new games on 3DS. It's generally been a terribly busy year game wise!

Third party AAA games on Switch - A lost cause?
MindFreak replied to Hogge's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I really want Bethesda to bring Dishonored 2 to Switch. I don't care for Doom it Wolfenstein, but I loved Dishonored 1. Hopefully they want to bring it or a remake to Switch next year. -

Interesting. Unfortunately, I am unable to follow these shows in the future because I don't have anywhere to watch them legally anymore so will have to wait for Netflix and they are really slow at putting out the new seasons. Also still need to watch the endings of Arrow s5 and The Flash S3. Didn't enjoy these seasons as much so put them on hold for a while.

And done. The last four challenges were very satisfying and challenging, but they never felt impossible. I used Mario, R Luigi and R Mario which is a good combination of healing, power, and range. I'll wait for the announcement of what the DLC is before buying the season pass but I will most likely buy it regardless.

The boxed editions are even cardboard?! Not plastic cases or anything but cardboard with just a slip with a code inside it... this is nuts. Sorry guys but this is really blowing my mind that anyone would want this (though the boxes look nice at least). S

It's coming in October? Might give it a watch but I don't think that Punisher is that interesting a character. In general, heroes that use guns aren't that interesting, I think.

Harbingers I've lost count of all these classes. XD

All levels are Perfect now, all ordinary challenges are done. Now for the Ultimate Challenges. I must say, World 3 and World 4 were a bit too easy. It's alright that the levels themselves are not overly hard but I almost always got Perfect first try (or after a couple of restarts) so I expected the Challenges to be harder. But nope, my team was too good and smashed them quite easily. Even clearing the final boss within 7 turns was quite easy (even did it in 6!). So I expect the Ultimate Challenges to really test my patience. Still, it's a very good game, I've enjoyed every minute of it. Getting to this point took me at most 35 hours (can't be bothered to count all entries in the Parental App) so quite a decent length as well. Minor complaints are camera angles at times and not having an undo-button to ordinary movement - it happened several times that accidentally put my character next to another one when I wanted to jump or dash the other one. Just an immediate "undo" before starting the movement would be alright - you see the mistake instantly anyway. Another minor criticism is that I sometimes noticed the enemy being able to shoot through walls where I couldn't. That bothered me but it never cost me a victory. Other than that, I can't think of anything really wrong with the game. It is great fun. Definitely buy it!

Then some other place... or well, I'll just not watch it. I hate that you need to subscribe to so many streaming services to watch what you want to see.

Killed the final boss in my second attempt the other day but spent 15 turns to do so. Definitely room for improvement. However, now that is the only regular level without a "Perfect" next to it. Now I'm doing the challenges of World 4 - they aren't really "Supa Hard", are they? I mean, sure, my team is strong with the best available weapons and almost fully upgraded but still, I most of the time win in my first attempt. Honestly, I think some of the medium challenges in the earlier worlds were harder - at least for now. I'm up to challenge 4 on world 4 now.
-
Oh, The Tick is out? Cool... now for it to come to Netflix or some other place where I can watch it.
-
I reached the final boss yesterday (well, World 4-9), having done all challenges in World 1-3 and got Perfect on each ordinary level. World 3 was quite easy in general but World 4 was more challenging. My Switch had no more power when I got to the final boss so couldn't take it on but it looks tough.

Quite early for a demo but it looks sooooo good! I'm looking forward to trying the demo. However, it seems quite slow (walking around, text and such), is that just me?
-
I dunno. I didn't really enjoy it that much. The spotlight sections were too long and detailed for my taste. I don't want too much information about details on games that I don't own because why should I know all that? I didn't watch the SMO-section but may have to in order to understand why I need the game. Currently I'm not convinced which is weird. I think I just wanted that "Woah!"-feeling from this. Not one of the games announced are up my alley, which is my luck since they apparently all come out this winter.

Some part of me actually wants (something like) this.

I completely did World 1 yesterday and moved on to World 2. Now I realise that it may be a bit silly to restart a battle over and over to get a Perfect when doing them the first time around so will settle with the other scores for now and then return once I've got stronger. This game is really enjoyable. It's simple enough to understand but still has a lot of depth to it. It looks good, the sound is amazing and the humour is good. I've played for around 12 hours (or well, the game has been on for that amount of time) so still have quite a few hours left in it.
-
Agreed. But I think those games are considered too big for being indie-titles in some way. Those three have their own fanbase whereas the rest of the show was more focused on new and smaller games in general - bar Shovel Knight and Steamworld Dig.

Generally, I enjoyed this season very much. It had some issues, though, and I agree that the dialogue was not quite as sharp as previous seasons. Now the waiting game has begun. Late 2018 or even 2019... :/
